I think its odds on Conte wont be around for long.
It's just the way Abramovich and the board do things. For Arsenal one manager for 20 odd years, but many Chelsea fans have now come round to the fact, however distasteful, that a revolving managerial door brings success. Cant see the policy changing.
Some fans clearly show the downside of our club being bought by a billionaire. ''I want, I want, its not fair, we're crap, Mummy !!''
For me I am quite happy with all the silverware, and last night being our 22nd semi final in 10 years
Its strange, it all seemed very tense around that time, it's as if we knew the club was at a watershed moment, on the brink of the big time, and Liverpool had a lot at stake as well
Interesting -so Jesper still supplied the cross. But it was Marcel who scored the important goal. What did Big Ron call him ''lazy fucking n***er''. Eat shit Ron.
I watched that game in an Aussie bar and it all kicked off with Liverpool inside, chairs and glasses flying. Mental.
Fuck me Man City just did it. Another injury time goal
Kudos to Bristol City and their 7680 fans completely outsung the Etihad lot. They could do it at Ashton Gate.
Ah yes ! The whole spat with Conte is classless. Maybe its appealing to younger fans and of course the media who will pour petrol on the multimillionaires bitching, but lets get on with the football
All good points - and spoke to a couple of long term Yernited fans (they donate standing orders to FC United ) and they and any other United fans worth their salt find it all a bit cringeworthy and can see thru the bullshit
English teams did well -people forget that Nottm Forest won the CL twice and UEFA Cup. Aston Villa also. They won the CL on shoestring budgets with 90% home grown players way before Chelseas money came along.
I remember Panathanaikos from your country doing well as well
Yup all the domestic cups are diminished now thanks to the leviathan that is UEFA. Started in the UK with the League Cup/Milk Cup/Carling Cup in the early 80s, now the Carabao Cup or whatever corporate whore sponsors it now. Clubs would play under strength teams, and now in recent years it's the same with the FA Cup. The League Cup when I was a kid was a big fucking event. Can backfire though -eg which is why Citeh won 4-1 but we have another replay
Mourinhos warped way of trying to ascertain second finishing place in the league by undermining Conte. Childish.
Hes like a caricature of himself now. The other thing is you can tell he has no joy, unlike the wistful smirking confident Jose of 2004-2006 at Chelsea
