Conte has praised Emenalo before: "My relationship with Michael was very good as he helped me a lot last season" http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/11/five-at-5pm0.html Back then it was also reported that Emenalo was Conte' close ally https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/chelsea-news-michael-emenalo-leaves-robs-antonio-conte-close-ally-peacemaker-maria-granovskaia-a8041481.html

Hazard will need to change his game massively and finally start contributing to defensive phase of the game much more under managers like Guardiola or Sarri, because they wouldn't accept his half-assed approach. Attacking players under those coaches should press all the time and try to take ball away from the opponent all the time, which Hazard doesn't do. Guardiola uses Sane and Sarri uses Insigne in same positions where Hazard hypothetically would play for them. So, Sane this season: 34 tackles and 16 interception; Insigne: 29 tackles and 25 interceptions; Hazard: 8 tackles and 4 interceptions. Or look at Bernardo Silva, who played 1000 minutes less than Hazard: 37 tackles and 15 interceptions. Or you can look at Mane at Liverpool: 44 tackles and 16 interceptions. Or Son at Tottenham: 24 tackles and 10 interceptions. Or Rony Lopes at Monaco under Jardim: 58 (!) tackles and 19 interceptions. Or Marco Asensio at Real: 30 tackles and 12 interceptions. People think that life is paradise for an attacking players under those coaches, but that's far from the truth. Being great attacking player is not enough anymore.

Then how we ended up in similar situation again? What exactly changed in club' approach after Jose was sacked?
-
A press trying too hard to create another conflict between Conte and Jose before FA Cup final.

Why is so hard for some people to accept that other people may have different opinion and that doesn't make them all idiots? What kind of narcissism is that? These players working with each other everyday and maybe they had their reasons to vote for Willian. And the reason is not that they are idiots. Maybe Willian is fantastic professional behind the scenes, hardworker, who gives his all on every training session, etc. and other players wanted to highlight that.

What a character! I like how fearless he is at everything he does, his attitude and fight in him. Signing of the season.
-
Great game from him today, saved us a few times.

We have an option to extend Caballero' deal for a year. According to reports, we gonna activate it. https://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2018/3/22/17152600/penalty-king-wilfredo-caballero-set-to-stay-at-chelsea-for-another-season-report-rumour

There are a few reasons why he scored only 6 goals this season. 1. He's playing only from January. 2. He's not a lone forward and also not a main source of goals in Simeone' team. Just look how hugely Griezmann benefited from Costa' partnership: 13 goals in 29 games without him and 14 goals in 15 games with him. Still, Costa score/assist every 128.6 minutes this season after more than 7 months without playing. He would have scored ~20 goals this season again if he stayed here. We create chances but can't finish them.

Zidane made a substitution because Isco was injured.
-
A right move from Thibaut. If Wilmots' so sure, then he should provide evidence or be held accountable for his accusations.
-
Kenedy failed to get regular time under 3 different coaches at Chelsea and has failed big time at Watford. Now he played 4 good games for Newcastle and he's suddenly attracted strong interest from Bayern and PSG? Yeah, sure. Nice work from his agent.
-
Here's no way Hazard created 6 clear chances against Tottenham. He has 8 in whole season: https://www.premierleague.com/players/4503/Eden-Hazard/stats?co=1&se=79
-
Surprised he wasn't sent off for this. What a strange behaviour.
-
This Drogba? "Since the day I arrived, I wanted to leave Chelsea and then again every summer" (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/2323587/Didier-Drogba-I-want-to-quit-Chelsea.html)
-
He's improved so much in his an all-round game in recent months.
-
That's highly unlikely, as we already played against Arsenal twice this season in Premier League.
-
6 goals + 5 assists in last 10 starts. That's a very, very good return.
-
I think there's a clue in article. A Venglos View is a satirical (and sometimes surreal) look at the Villa.
-
Well, at least he's not getting needless cards, like Costa did.
-
We've been linked to him since the days he played in Belgium for Genk.
-
He was just joking with Paul Clement (they both worked together here at Chelsea) before the game, not during or after they won 4-0.
-
We need a more goalscorers in our team, especially if we lose Hazard. Signing another player with Willian' output to replace Eden wouldn't be best decision.
