Is this next seasons kit?
-
lol why do people care/comment on what players look like
-
He'd be a good squad player here, but doesn't seem to want that, it's a shame as it would be good to have home-grown English players making up the squad. Id prefer Ake as reserve left back anyway
-
Been a fan of his for ages, £15.8m is great business and I can't think of a left back id rather have going into next season
-
Seems like a good player and the fee is low, but unless we are going for exceptional young players like Pogba, I'd rather see us give MvG and some of our own young English midfielders (Baker, Loftus-Cheek) a go
-
Thought he only got benched after he'd signed for us?
-
I still think he should be benched for a period before we immediately ship him off, whether to give him or rest or as he's out of form, then judge him after that. Hopefully he'll focus on his Chelsea not Brazil now, if not maybe next summer send him to PSG to join Luiz Hopefully Mourinho works on his positioning, he is either too far from the central midfielders - but doesn't link well with the striker, or drops far too deep where he can't have an attacking impact. Ends up drifting out of games
-
Depends on the opponent, but I'd start them both with Willian in the middle if Fabregas can fit in a deeper position; Schrulle and Hazard wide
-
He'll improve, clearly out form and needs a rest or something, played shit loads the past 2 years; probably should've been on the bench for Brazil if they had better options. Still thought he was one of Brazils better players tonight, even if that isn't saying a lot. Need to remember he is only 22, same age as Salah but people expect a lot more consistency and for him to be a regular If he'd been player #10 for Germany I think he'd look better than Kroos did
-
Pogba would be ideal, even if he cost £50m I'd still consider that a relatively low risk signing, he's 21, homegrown plus experience of England. Already he's one of the best central midfielders in the world
-
Can't think of any attacking midfielders in the world who aren't inconsistent. First season in the PL for Willian, Schrulle and Salah, who should all be better next season, hope Willian can become a better goalscorer. Oscar is the most worrying but he still works hard and does a lot of good defensive work so he isn't a passenger, think he should be given a break as Mata was a couple off years ago. They probably dont look that consistently good as the style we play isn't that expansive
-
Not too much pressure on him, only to do more than Torres, Ba..
-
Think the fact he's home grown makes this more likely. with Lampard and Cole gone, Moses and Bertrand potentially off it makes sense to have sign home grown players as we'd only have Terry and Cahill left as HG. Probably part of the reason we signed Fabregas too
-
Names are horizontal this year rather than curved
-
That's either real or the best football photoshop I've seen
-
He should try and stop talking, especially after Mourinho said he speaks too much. His performances the past year haven't been that good, too inconsistent, he should be working on his football and concentrating on the WC Don't know why people mention Sturridge, the only regret was not getting a bigger fee for him

Unsure how hell work in a midfield two, he was good alongside Gilberto then Flamini but he hasn't played that role in years, plus those Arsenal sides played 442, Mourinho will continue with 4231 id think and tends to prefer both of his centre midfielders to hold a lot of the time; then there's the number 10 who might restrict the space Fabregas has, or on the other hand could drop in when he goes forward. But, watching this www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0Y4_WrLOVA and looking at the type of goals Costas scored, a lot of them from through balls into the box from deep, the combination between those two could be great
-
I don't think he'll sign, we should move for Koke who Mourinho reportedly prefers It seems like Barcelona need to offload Fabregas to fund Koke's signing, which puts us in a strong position as we appear to be the only destination for Fabregas. The only teams I can see him joining are us, Man City/Utd, Arsenal and Bayern- who are all bar maybe City well stoccked in his position; at a push I could see him going to PSG but that depends on the leverage Barca have to force Fabregas out. Hopefully we can we stall over a deal for Fabregas whilst signing Koke
-
The amount of rumours linking him to every PL club and now us does seem like Fabregas' agent is making stories up to increase interest in him. Obviously Fabregas and Mata are different but some of the issues Mourinho had with Mata can be atrributed to Fabregas, Koke seems much more suited to Mourinho's system if we're going for a Spanish midfielder. Koke and Pogba are both better options for deeper roles in midfield I think and younger, Fabregas more talented in an attacking midfield role. I dont see the club signing him if Mourinho doesn't want him as has happened in the past
-
Are 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 really that different if the personnel are the same, everyone will likely have the same role/responsibilities in attack/defence
-
No way Fabregas can perform like Modric for us
