  1. More talented perhaps, but Koke has been better and more consistent this season
  2. As a Lampard/Mikel replacement it would be a great signing, I just hope we sign a world class central midfielder too, rather than opting for quantity as we have done in the past. If he's just making up the numbers I feel Van Ginkel and some of the youth team players could do that. I'd much rather see: Matic, Pogba, Ramires, Tiago, Van Ginkel, Ake/Loftus-Cheek/Baker - as our central midfield options then say: Matic, Ramires, Lampard, Mikel, Tiago and Van Ginkel
  3. I doubt they'd want to let him go, but we could let Courtois go there for another season, providing we can negotiate a new contract with him
  4. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10852796/Chelsea-want-to-sign-either-Paul-Pogba-Koke-or-Paulinho-after-agreeing-50m-deal-for-David-Luiz.html hopefully we can sign Koke, think there would be a good balance with him alongside Matic, I'd even have him as a right midfielder over what we have. Be good to have someone who can cross and give us some creativity from a central midfield. Pogba would also be a great signing, I fear we'll end up with Paulinho though
  5. Luiz (£50m) might just pay for him (£32m) + Mandzukic (£15-20m?)
  6. Benatia's the player PSG should've gone for, although I suspect they wanted Luiz for reasons off the pitch as much as his ability. If we are looking for a replacement he'd be the first player I'd hope we go for
  7. 50m euros = £40m As much as I think Luiz is insanely talented, he will likely always be a liability. Even if he proves to be world class there £40m is still a great price for any defender especially one who's 27. The move suits Luiz as well, plays with his international teammate which will help him cement his Brazil spot. The league will be a piece of piss where he'll rarely get tested and can look like a better defender + he gets CL football. We can sign a left back for say £15m, use Ivanovic at centreback and rightback, with Azpi at RB. We have Zouma coming in, and Kalas and Christensen ready to step up. The remaining £25m can be used to sign strikers, or an actual midfielder which is better than using Luiz there
  8. year left on his contract I think + his wage demands are too high, outside the limit Bayern are willing to give any player. I still think he is likely to stay, seems Guardiola wants him to, he's probably just using Utd's interest to force Bayern into agreeing to his demands, without really intending to move. How often do you see top clubs losing their best midfielders to teams who aren't in the CL
  9. £20m + whatever ridiculous wages he wants. Doubt Mourinho would really want him as he'd likely only use him as the no.10 where we have numbers
  10. He really isn't, although he isn't slow
  11. No thanks, love Sanchez to come here though, he's better in my opinion then every attacking midfielder we have bar Hazard, he doesn't really suit Barcelona's style either
  12. Hopefully he goes to Everton on loan so we can see what he can do in the PL. We really shouldn't be selling or loaning anyone to Liverpool
  13. Can we try and get Koke off them too? so we have someone who can put a decent cross in for him
  14. Schruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuule
  15. No im judging him based on his performances this season. You seem to be making judgements based on the fact you like the player and he is 20. Im not saying he's destined not to be good enough, but that's my opinion based on what I've seen so far
  16. Not sure what you mean? Lukaku still may or may not be a success, Salah I'm more sure will not. He might be around for a couple of seasons and for what he cost was worth a gamble, similarly to Marin- we wont lose much if anything if we sell him
  17. exactly- he isn't 16 or 17; you can see it already, his finishing is unlikely to improve that much . Especially the way we play, if he was at Liverpool with the way they play he may get enough chances and confidence with more space and opportunities, but not here. He's very one footed, even Robben who also is a left footed right winger gets found out at times when he always has to cut inside, but he can compensate with a great shot.
  18. Salah will never make it here long term, his finishing is just awful
  19. More shit, couldnt even stay in touch if the two above slipped up. hopefully we see some young players in the last game
