I genuinely believe some fans hold a grudge against him because they were so excited when he signed and it didn't work out. He is not exempt for criticism, and I have been on his back on multiple occasions since he signed for uninterested performances but when he is scoring it just seems to get worse. You get the 'pub team' comments which are ludicrous - you can only score against the team in front of you - and comments about how bad it is that he is scoring because the board won't sell him which is basically wishing poor form on him. It's certainly no coincidence that these commenters are arm chair fans, usually under 17-18 who have grown up to be spoilt with success and legends like Drogba, Nico etc. Torres is a Chelsea Player, both he and some of our fans should act like it more often, recently he's been holding up his end of that bargain and maybe it's time for some posters to do the same.

But it's good to see QPR get beat, this team somehow escaped relegation, lets hope they get it this time.

Sometimes you're full of crap, cap, sorry. Rounding the goalkeeper in a 1 on 1 is the safest thing you can do. Chipping or anything else is much riskier. Lamps himself said it was the first time he ever rounded a goalie, because it was instincts of slotting it home safely.

i wouldn`t mind if 26 is retired. but no numbers from 1-11 ever should. i`m glad Oscar has got the number 11 shirt.

I understand every argument why we could/should, but I never want our club to leave Stamford Bridge. It'll probably happen one day, and it will be for the best, but it'll still be sad.

Fernando must have loved what he saw last night in the first half. The fluidity of the attacks suit his style well, and he should be getting plenty of chances.

A bit cumbersome at times, but he held the ball up nicely and took both of his goals well. People need to remember this lad's age, he has time well and truly on his side and is a good prospect.
