It’s petty but I don’t want us to buy any player from Barca at all. Let them crash and burn. Just wait till they fail to register and then maybe poach some. Just don’t help them out of their misery

Aubameyang is terrible. His legs have gone, he is old, toxic and the mother of big game chokers
-
I mean he would just be backup but this guy has never played in a top league at age 26. We really are fishing now
-
He just signed for Leipzig a few days ago
-
+1 “hey! You just earned a badge for your first post“ erm … I have been posting on here for over a decade but thx for noticing I guess 😅
-
You mean the same Aubameyang who at the tender age of 33 years has the vast experience of 5 CL Knockout Stage Games? A man never having scored there against a team not named Benfica is exactly who I would be looking at in order to advance our CL title bid.

The market for cbs is still decent. We can find alternatives. Also Trev, RJ and K2 can play rcb as well. It is not Fofana or bust
-
Yup. If we continue with this heavily defensive setups even sub-world class defenders should be fine. They need however be really quick, able to carry the ball, calmunder pressure and make no stupid mistakes. For attackers however we nee dplayers who are used to playing in defensive setups and creating tings on thier own. This is why Sterling and Kai (will) struggle and guys like Chiesa and Neto are on our radar.

Interesting, Sky Germany report such a low figure. The original sky sport are quoting 25.3m pounds (30m euros) + add ons. Sounds more authentic. https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/12691/12667973/timo-werner-rb-leipzig-agree-deal-to-re-sign-forward-from-Chelsea-reports-sky-in-germany

For Sterling, I understand, he is supposed to be our new star man but K2 is 31 But at least we do not need to be worried about our ability to sell him.
-
As shit as he has been, 23m is massively under market value. But at least we get his bonkers wages off the book. Marina would have probably dragged this out forever and either got 40m for him or, more likely, the deal would have collapsed
-
Cucu looked really sharp and apparently did not feel the pressure of his price tag at all. Would have loved him to provide that assist to Sterling if not for that last ditch block. I hope he starts next week, Chilly clearly looked off the pace.
-
He was torrid but that was to be expected bc he was played out of position. the left sided AM is by far his worst position. I do not want to see him there ever again.
-
Expectedly a very rusty performance, but showed nice resilience to grind out the 3 at our bogey ground. Our attack was non-existent but that is what you get, when you play all 3 (5 with subs) attackers out of position. When will TT learn that Kai and Broja are useless on the left, Puli on the right. We need our AMs to have their shooting feet facing goal ffs. Even when Broja came on, instead of putting him as striker where he belongs, and Sterling on the left, where he belongs, we had broja (left footed) as winger/LAM again. Vice versa for pulisic. Just frustrating. Chilwell was super rusty and the game went to quickly for him but yet he won the game for us. Everton and that poor excuse of a player Doucoure must be kicking themselves. Given how Chilwell was bumbling his way through the game, he would have fallen over his own feet any second if Doucoure had not come in and felled him himself. Thanks for that.

Guehi wins it for Arsenal for all their athleticism Palace players simply lack quality in the final ball
-
Probably some officials at La liga are gonna have the pay day of their lives and Barca will be able to register new players in a few days.
-
He was a very frustrating player and I am glad to see the back of him. He scored a few nice goals but way too few to make up for his disruption of our play with his terrible positioning and lack of pace
-
Pl proven is a myth but even with there are Tyrick Mitchel, Kieran Tierney and Rayan At-Nouri. at a stretch Aaron Hickey, Mykolenko, Angelino, Jonny Otto or Rico Henry. if we offered that moeny to liverpool for robertson, chances are they would take it.
-
yeah no one said anything about alonso. if we are prepared to pay this much for a leftback, there are tons of options not named alonso
-
k thx this is just absurd. Sorry we should walk from that deal. If we offered that kind of money to bayern or milan they would start thinking.
-
where did you read that the highest figure I read were 68m euros which is 57m gbp. anway, we should walk away at this point. this is just too much. it is crazy. Cucu is good but not world class. That fee should get you every lb in the world bar phonzie&theo.
-
yeah and that should have been a warning as well at that time 51,75m pounds were only 57m euros tho
-
In EXCESS of 52.5. most expensive left back in history by quite a margin
-
That would be left back no. 4 for the u23
-
That has to be BS Azpi has nothing left to offer to this team other than being a likeable mascot and we are giving him a raise? This is beyond stupid
