  1. This they can actually play free flowing football all their attackers are actually decent footballers their football has been very Ajax like today
  2. Elanga hits the post manure the better side what we need here is a draw
  3. ten Haag telling martinez to go into the field for a Manure corner shows he at least has a sense of humour
  4. He was poor but you cant fault his spirit. We know he can do better but playing in a dp with Jorginho is a huge mountain to climb. Can’t blame him for failing in the first try. shows you how good kovacic and Kante are with their tireless work rate and ability to carry the ball making up for so many of Jorginhos countless limitations
  5. They will delay the fofana deal at least until after this match
  6. this has Mourinho season 15/16 written all over it we look terrible not challenging for the title for ages has completely pulled the tooth for this squad league wise. We need a total rebuild
  7. That is just dismal and happens when you play half your team out of psoition Jesse marsch masterclass N ow they just sit deep
  8. That’s why Cucurella has one Pl goal all career
  9. Can just as well turn off now what a torrid game from us
  10. Mendy should know by now he is not a good footballer i fear this is it, we don’t look like scoring the game is so hectic and we have no real structure in midfield
  11. They are very different players tho. you could see Giroud for all his qualities was not gonna work long term in TT ball.Aubameyang would be a decent fit if he was 7 years younger. We should have gone for him when he went to Arsenal. Same as Jesus. Maybe we should just hire Arsenal's scout^^
  12. I understand the need to play RJ as RCB vs dangerous wingers but who tf is this for leads. Jack Harrison? RJ is wasted there
  13. He's not a big classic front man tho. He might be somewhat tall-ish but he is more of a mobile, agile, athletic presence than an old fashioned sturdy battering ram-style target man I would say. I actually could imagine him fitting us well. just his last two games i thought he was really impressive. That run and first touch ass for the 4th goal vs Manure was brilliant and he was pressing them all game. Today he showed great coordination for both his goals, unfortunately just one counted.
  14. Thought about Toney as well but at 26 he only has one top flight season (and 14 goals) under his belt. Would not be cheap given his contract till '25. But it is good we are pondering alternatives to PEA
  15. True we should exclude that one but apart from his goals his overall game has improved i think he has been wasted all those years on the wings but we apparently want an experienced PL proven goal scorer (again) Out of all the strikers in the list I think he could be deemed as among the more likely to actually carry over their performance level to PL. the others being David and gouiri. Adeyemi, evanilson and kalajdzic I could see being huge busts here
  16. I am really not sold on Osimhen his goal record is inferior to Tammy s and Lukaku in Serie A he is overall more gifted technically but can go missing in games completely, heavily relies on good service. I only watched him in EL last season and in some big Serie A games and he was quite anonymous throughout. Marcus Thurman has had a great start to the season. He is a great mix of skill, size and pace. Very inconsistent tho despite already being 25. He has been shifted to CF only recently and seems to be blossoming there. Is rumoured to join manure or milan. is cheap bc of contract running down.
  17. I think we are only doubling compared to the lower initial salary he got in his first years so will about match what he would get there from this season on https://www.marca.com/en/lifestyle/celebrity-net-worth/2022/04/03/6249644722601dc54a8b45a5.html
  18. yeah but why did we not go early in then. just stupid. While i think jesus would not look anywhere this good with us, he would for sure make a difference. Against weaker sides Arsenal will always be more comfortable than us with their electric attack and extra no.10 but vs the bigger sides they will all struggle. Jesus however has shown he can occasionally create goals on his own even in big games. That is why I think he would be a good fit. He is no Agüero in this regard but he is a team player. And that is what we need an attack. Someone who does the donkey work, presses, holds up the ball and yet can provide that spark when nothing else goes.
  19. It's not just 20m. it's 20m + about 10m wages per year. so 50m for 3 years of a washed out 30 something
  20. Chill guys, no way slabhead is coming here. Have been reading we would swap him for Pulisic lol Absolute fantasy. No way we should give Pulisic to Manure. Not bc he is so good but ManUre are probably the biggest club in America anyway. Give him puli and they might tap up tons of commercial potential over there. Loan him to Newcastle for all I care
  21. Most of them are crap. Alonso would fit in perfectly
