Just seen the MOTD video of our game. In the analysis they rightly pointed out, Luiz should be waay faster going back after his runs into space. After his runs, he neither joins the attack, nor goes back into CB, he just cruises around in midfield. This is a no-go for a CB.

About time. Will be interesting to see, how Fergie's departure will influence ManUtd ability to win titles with an average squad.

Well, it started almost a year ago while varying in intensity throughout. I also guess it is either psychological or a sleeping disorder. There have been some incidents, such as grandparents's death, break-up with girlfriend, the first two thirds of this season lol, but nothing I'd not easily deal with emotionally or sth which would be like a caesura.

We paid almost as much for Lukaku, who was way less skilled back then (probably still is). we do not only buy the player and his skills, we buy his potential, too. He is only 22, his future is bright. I'd have looked to other, faster, more out&out wingers, too, but this is not a bad deal at all.

yup. I am defo getting enough sleep. at least 9 hours daily, often more. My guess is, that my sleep quality is shit, cos I usually fall from the desktop into my bed, but usually this should not cuase such problems.

Anyone ideas about a constant feeling of fatigue, headache and lack of energy/laziness? Organically I am perfectly fit, doc was unable to find anything unusual, but I am carrying this lack of engine for months now...

James McCarthy come on. He might become a decent, above-average EPL-midfielder, but there is no way he will ever become Chelsea material. We only have to look at Josh, Chalobah or guys from the Academy to find players with at least as much potential. Generally I am against these kind of signings, looking for medicore players elsewhere. Mourinho did them in 2007. When in need of squad player we should promote our own youth products. They may not develop to full potential but at least we save a lot of money.

If there really ever was one. AVB contested that multiple times and he probably has read that contract once or twice. Anyway, as soon as Barca believe there was a buy back clause, I am fine with Romeu developing to a world class DM here.

BVB are a finished us with waaay less money. Not only in terms of assets and spending potential but also in terms of turnover. Because of money we have been and will be in the very top of world football for decades whilst their guest appearance there will be limited to 4 years at best. back to Lewandowski. He really fits us, he fits the EPL and we really should go for him. Selling him to us would make sense for him because they would not strengthen their biggest rival. Also they want Kevin de Bruyne. So we have a double advantage over Bayern and really would have only ourselves to blame if this goes wrong. I'd say give him de Bruyne on loan, pay full price for Lewa and give de Bruyne a buy-option of around 25m. This will suffice to persuade them to sell Lewa to us+we either get Lewa on the cheap or get KDB back. Win-win-win situation.

Game vs ManU showed that we really could use a player like KDB. With him, we could rotate one of Oscar, Hazard, mata without having too much of a downgrade. On the other hand, I doubt KDB could do with as many games as Moses got this season. When he joined us, Moses knew, he would probably never explore his whole potential and will be a bit-part player his entire Chelsea career, with maybe one season as regular starter such as Malouda. KDB is an immense talent, and surely will expect to become a great player. he won't become that at chelsea. At least not in a 4-2-3-1. It's a little bit different with andre Schürrle. he fits better in our system, is already a bit more accomplished than KDB and he will be ok with the amount of playing time he will get. He has been a killer joker, scoring a goal almost every sub-appearance. He does not need any minimum of time to fit in. I think that pretty much plays a role in case we decide to swap KDB for Schürrle. IMO KDB has greater talent, but Schürrle is by far the safer bet.

Hazard will contribute hugely to us finishing 3rd and winning Euro League. Romeu could be a useful rotation option for Everton and Villa. -------Cech------- Azpi--Iva-Luiz--Cole -----Rami-Lamps---- Oscar--Mata--Hazard ----------Ba------------- almost same lineup as today + inclusion of Hazard. Should do. We are much more used to playing twice a week than Spurs, so their extra day rest won't mean anything. Assou-Ekotto and Walker will be shitting their pants to face hazard, Lamps will boss Parker, Huddlestone or whatever twat plays for them in midfield. Big game, crucial period of the season, he will again be up to it.
-
Come on, he is a goalkeeper, does not really matter, where he plays, as long as it is a top league. 1 year more at Atletico and contract extension with us would be a great deal.
-
the problem is, u have to leave some space not to be skipped past on the other hand u have to keep tight on him so he can not shoot. Bale has to be doubled everytime he enters the final third, this will require a lot of extra running. In this kind of game we really could use Romeu, cos we have to keep the middle tight, which Mikel and Lamps are not exactly specialists at. But he probably is not ready yet.

"Rafael could have killed David Luiz"
-
It was a red card for Rafael, even if Luiz had not even noticed the kick and Rafael had broken his leg by kicking him. In the sense of the law already the effort to hurt another player is to be punished with a red card. It is not Luiz fault that refs easily get influenced by the reaction of the fouled player rather than judging the foul itself. Luiz did what every footballer is taught to do, when he is fouled badly. Opposite Suarez, Busquets or whoever Luiz has not faked anything to get an opponent sent off, he did not even had to, Rafael should have been sent off anyway, even if David Luiz would have danced samba afterwards.

Great, important win. Our offense was shit but our defense and midfield was fine. I do not record utd having one shot at goal except that cute Rvp header. First time we really got lucky in a big match. mata was okay, Oscar worked hard, too. Only one who was really bad was Moses, also Ba was poor, A.Cole was quite subdued and caught out of position twice. Lamps showed that he still can perform in the big matches. He and Ramires harmonized surprisingly well. Iva and Luiz pretty much did their job, but our best player by some distance was Azpi. He had Giggs, Evra and whoever went down his side nicely in his pocket and always offered a nice attacking option. Hazard missing showed how much we need him, esp vs stubborn defences like this. He would have had a field day. Great also to see us grind out a result, even though we were not at our best. Winning while playing shit helps more in the league than being dying in beauty. We now have beaten the so called best team in the country 3 times in 5 encounters this season. The other 2 times we should have comfortably won, too if it were not for some shocking refereeing and bad luck. Top 4 place is as good as ours, we need 6 points from 2 matches in the worst case. A win vs tottenham on Wednesday will seal qualification and most probably also 3rd place. If Azpi performs similarly in midweek, we do not have to fear Bale. On the other hand if Assou-Ekotto maintains his form and hazard is back, we can rip them to shreds.

this is gonna have 6 mins fergie time and a late equalizer
-
Sian Massey is the best refereeing assistant in the country
-
yep. was a red card
-
LOL. this shot is travelling towards the cornerflag in case the defender does not touch it.
-
IS THIS THE WINNER???????
-
Luiz, so unnecessary, we all know webb is acunt
-
this was rather mata's position
-
that freekick is almost a penalty.
-
what a cross by Lamps, mata should score there with a little more leap
