Miss it too. Nothing better than a nice powerful 30yard screamer or a powerful towering header. But football has changed you simply see less of those screamers these sides. Even though some guys like Ronaldo, BAle, Robben are still there. They are also good example why you can do both, dribbling and shooting. I am pretty sure Schürrle, Oscar and even Fabregas will recover some of their prowess from range, but not with the consistency our former collection of all-round midfielders displayed. IMO Willian's position should be taken by someone who is capable of producing that direct threat.

Willian has more stamina than Schürrle. That is why he is a better defender. Both are not exactly elite tacklers. But in some games we can afford to lose Willian's stamina but get Schü's directness. Neither are complete wingers but both have a place in our team - which is the bench. Long term we should look for a higher calibre but for now we should utlize them whenever the respective type of winger is needed. Which means we should use Schürrle increasingly IMO.
