As for PSG it is no wonder after the crazy sums they invested and the fact that they are the only commercially competitive French side, but City's marketing value has increased drastically over the years. Apart from sponsorship deals there is not really an area we can further grow because our world wide popularity has already peaked. Finding financial support for a new stadium which inevitably has to come is a must and a great challenge for the board. Also IMO we should expand our loan system even more. Here we can still grow and dominate world football. Our target has to be to get into a situation where we are the first go-to option for every upcoming talent. They should not see us as a developers. Here is where the growing disparity between big clubs and small clubs becomes our advantage. Clubs with excellent youth development like Gladbach, Mainz, Ajax, Lyon could be forced to agree partneships with us and develop our loan players.

Mous conviction is that the Team with less mistake wins+ Teams who have more oft The ball make more mistakes. IMO that Philosophy is flawed. For Teams like barca, Bayern and teams containing cahill and brana the opposite is the case.

No idea why Jose went for the "safe" alternative and played Mikel. First thing, playing Mikel is never safe. It means limiting our attcking options whilst giving us one error prone player more. Just next to Ivanovic and Cahill. Secondly it is only Liverpool. Just a midtable team between swansea and West ham which is exactly where they belong and what they are. We pay those lots far too much respect. We made them strong by giving them so much space. They played a 3-6-1 so were always gonna exploit it any space we got them with continuous posession. We gave up our new-born identity of fast, intricate, technical and goal-bound combination play to play some dodgy 19th century farmers football. I am no idealist and i have no problem with parking the bus, but when you do it you should do it right. Our defence porous and our attempts to counter pathetic. We created almost no chances. Tbf Liverpool really worked hard and played their system perfectly. But we simply should not concede playing all defense against such a joke of a team.

Probably won't play the next two or three games. And rightly so. If you can't tackle the player at least block the fuckin shot or foul him. Cahill has missed his vocation. If you like to accompany feisty small guys when they play ball you should become kindergarten warden.

Our defense is really our weak link. Not that we defend badly but fast games like this one expose them. Once there is a tiny gap between our midfield and defence, Cahill and ivanovic when on their own always look like letting attacker run, pass and shoot

Willian is the only player who has maintained the same level of performance. He might never play extraordinarily well but he is damn consistent at what he does.
