  1. Costa really looks off the pace now he is playing without an injury. yeah great goal schü
  2. why play Matic? kinda unneccessary given he played every match except one the full 90 minutes. Also costa and fabregas I can't understand. why he risky injuries to our 3 most important players.
  3. WE'll win against them when it matter as we did in 2013 EL quarterfinals
  4. I wonder how easily people link him with barca. Aren't they Banned vor what ?
  5. If we don't rotate here, I am never going to watch a Chelsea match again until we do. On saturday I knew we were going to lose as soon as I saw the lineup. That was a surreal experience.
  6. That was always their thing. In 2009, 2011 as well as 2013 they have always played the poorest kind of football that has ever seen the light. They have been inferior in at least a third of all their matches in the last 5+ years and still somehow managed to win the league more often than not. The only thing they do is hitting the ball up high in the air and then moving quickly for the rebound. I'd also love to hammer teams. But that is the problem. They fear us already that even in away games the home teams parks the bus. They sit there and wait for their counter opportunities. But I am pretty sure we would be able to deal with that like we do at Stamford Bridge if Jose would not overplay the team all the time. Also it would help to have a more mobile defense to play a higher line and not being getting caught on the break.
  7. Whilst one could easily see how much he cared about the club he was maybe the most awkward of the whole Chelsea TV staff. And they have a lot of awkward guys. Maybe its because they always have to be so cheerful but the foreign players often don't understand a word. But why the heck are there even post-match interviews? Anyway, I think he really is a nice bloke, he just has the wrong job. Not only his announcements but his pronounciation in general is so annoying. He always changes the pitch and volume of his voice in the middle of the sentence when there is no need to do so whatsoever. First time I wondered whether he has tourette or something.
  8. Taking Sporting lightly is exactly what we have to do in this match. We don't need to win this match, our only task after the disaster of overplaying our best players with 4 games in 15 days, is to rest players. We should not give a fuck about this game and do not play anyone that has to start against Hull on Saturday, which is waaaay more important. Our momentum is shit anyway. But the game vs Hull is the game we can lose our season in. If we fall behind City this winter, we will never see first spot again with how easy their schedule is. Our players should be fresh and for one of the season defining matches instead of wearing our best players down in this void Sporting Lissabon horseshit match.
  9. Reus is the perfect player to help us break down parked buses. He is fast, direct, able to move on rapid speed within tight spaces and can score from everywhere. He might not offer the industry of willian tracking back, but his superior effectiveness in the final third more than compensates that. The reason why we concede so much from crosses from the right is Ivanovic. Azpi--Cahill--JT--Luis ----Matic-Fab--------- Reus--Oscar---Hazard is much more balanced than what we got now and still offers a hell lot more in Offense.
  10. IMO it's the EPL's marketing strategy to have the title race as open as possible. (as long as the FA's beloved ManUtd can't win it) A more open EPL title race generates more worldwide media interest and hence increases the leverage of the EPL to get bigger TV deals. Hence they influence matches and instruct the refs to make the league more attractive. Smaller clubs are only happy to agree to play along and alter the level of their perfromances as the FA commands so they get access to those huge TV money pots this way. The Bundesliga and La Liga are usually less open. All their ressources are concentrated towards BAyern, BArca, real, who are guaranteed the league title and can focus on the CL. The CL success makes their TV rights attractive as well. Too different strategies. The Spanish or German strategy yields more success in terms of CL titles whilst the English one yields more money. I think in the end we will be Champions. The FA will influence games our way at some point as another City title would be rather boring. But in the end we will have no chance of winning the CL with our squad tiring in domestic competitions against the fresh teams of Real, Bayern, Barca.
  11. Watching City games is like watching 11 men playing around 11 cones with a ref awarding foul, when one of the guys or the ball touches a cone.
  12. But let's not get our hopes too high. Everton will probably manage to invite tap ins and score own-goals without Agüero being on the pitch.
  13. They might not be a one man team, but maybe they are as reliant on Agüero as we are on Matic.
  14. Well one should not wish people injuries, but let's hope it is not serious but at the same time keeping Agüero out for the rest of his ManCity career.
  15. I don't wanna see a single face of those who started today on Wednesday. When we don't rotate here, all is lost. -----------------------Cech--------- Christensen--Zouma--Ake--Luis -----------Ramires----Matic------- Salah------------Solanke-----Schürrle --------------------Remy------------------ or something like this. Practice for the young guns and rest for our starters is all we need now. If we lose, Schalke are out, so a part of me even hopes we do.
  16. This has nothing to do with how competitive the league is. We all knew we would lose this match if Mourinho would not change his tactics and rotate. When we are tired, teams like sunderland and Newcastle will find us out. With our resources we should be able to rest all first teamers and still beat those teams easily. We should be prepared to simply see these games out and win them without shining. It is Mourinho's job to prepare the squad so that is can take on every team without risking to lose due to unforced, avoidable deficiencies such as fatigue
  17. We had a 8 points gap on City an lost it within 3 matches. Not winning away to newcastle or sunderland is ok. but doing it with the same, exhausted team in back to back away matches is not acceptable. What did Mourinho think. He can play the same eleven the whole 60+ games season? Costa was abysmal, Hazard, Oscar, FAbregas obviously tired. Iva and Cahill were shambles at the back. The worst thing about this match was, that everyone, every single Chelsea fan with a bit knowledge saw it coming. Without a plan B there simply was never a different outcome than this one. Newacstle were more fresh than us and we did the mistakes they were hoping for.
  18. fuck you all you shitty mid-table teams, give city the title already.
  19. fuck you all you shitty mid-table teams, give city the title already.
  20. fuck it, simply bring the ball in. what is this passing the ball in midfield?
