  1. I think the only way for us to score is via a set piece due to our height advantage. Mertesacker is Arsenal's only outfield player above 6ft. We have like 6. This is probably why this is the first freekick Arsenal have caused in their own half.
  2. Ivanvoic has been far better defensively than Azpi so far ... and about as shite in offense. btw why do Ramires and Fabregas always lose half their brain in a big match? They probably leave it in the meanwhile empty stash of Hazard's invisibility coat
  3. free header for ramy has to score. sry but witsel would have easily scored that one with his fuckin fro.
  4. what a fluke goal by the ox. he has scored as many goals as cahill last season in about as many matches. 19 times out of 20 that shot goes into the stands. lucky mofo
  5. better from us. arsenal have surrendered the midfield and looking for the counter. this is really reversed roles here.
  6. out of the blue. but we were way too open there. Azpi has to be sharper there but honestly you scarcely can defend that. advantage arsenal.
  7. Khedira had an injury AGAIN? Poor guy. Not a fan but he does not deserve 2 dangerous injuries in 2 years. Hope we don't have to play kramer, Rudy or some other player from our bang on average ( Volland, hector, bellarabi, kruse, rüdiger...lol ) next generation at the Euros.
  8. I meant it like: If Mou trusts Mikel and Ramires to cover Fabregas and Matic, I think he could as well give youth players the chance to stand in for our defenders. IMO the gap in quality would be proportionate.
  9. In a world were Mikel, RLC and Ramires are actually considered as options of a top team, not having enough numbers is never the problem. We probably need a backup for both, Fabregas and Matic. Even though I agree that we looked even more helpless without Fabregas. Matic probably is the only player who can offer the kind of protection Fabregas defensive incompetence requires. Additionally, Mou tends to sacrifice Oscar for Ramires in big games, so he acknowledges that we need more solidity and physical presence in midfield. What saddens me most is that he obviously still believes in Ramires to be that big game player which he has proven not to be any more. If Mourinho really believes Mikel, Ramires, RLC are good enough to come in and help us win the CL than we don't need any signings at all, then we could as well promote Jake Clarke Salter instead of signing Stones.
  10. Bayern have won this league before playing a match. This whole corrupted excuse of a league solely serves the purpose to give the Bauern shitfaces a platform to revel in their conceit. All their drivel about projects and developments, stalwart of GErman football blabla is just bullshit. They buy their national rivals best players to maintain the status quo. After they had their flukish 15mins of fame in Europe, they are done there and back to where they belong a flattrack bully in a fucked up "league" of marionettes and that's it. Congrats to your dead rubber trophy which looks like a tin felly btw.
  11. I wonder whether Internacional will let him move to Leverkusen who only can afford like 7m pounds whilst they demand 10.5m. Maybe Leicester's extra millions in wages will eventually still convince him. I wonder whether no other clubs are interested.
  12. Nice one. The Lord strikes twice. Like so often Bayern dominate bt fail to finish and lose it in the end. More of that. Suck it Bauern.
  13. This. Players should join an ambitios projects instead of an ever stagnating club like Loserkusen who are basically a very very very poor man's Arsenal.
  14. I agree. Consequently they should stay away from Loserkusen.
  15. why is this good? Quality players should join a quality league not that Bayern bimbo league.
  16. Great Addition for them defo an upgrade on cambiasso. Wonder if they can convince him to sign for them instead of Leverkusen.
  17. As I have not seen much of him myself, I have spoken to some mates who have seen plenty of him. They attribute Augsburg's considerable success, establishing themselves as 6th in the Bundesliga and 2nd best team in Bavaria and best in Swabia to their tactically flexible backline whihc he was an integrable part of. What we can expect from him is great athleticism: pace, strength and stamina. His crosses can be hit and miss. He is better when operating with space so he can use his pace for the power dribbling than in tight spaces cos his ball control is not the best but still decent. On the downside he is prone to defensive errors and false positioning. Surely still has to develop but will inevitably get game time here because of our lack of other options.
  18. German tabloids understand that Baba's distinct wish to move makes this deal to only hinge on formalities. 17.6m pounds/ 25m €, 40k wages. The figueres are probably inaccurate but the move is imminent.
  19. He probably does not want to be pilloried like Delph and Sterling have been.
  20. I feel Arsenal need and want it much more. We usually lose in the CS cos we don't take it seirously enough. But our last win was 2009 and that is a damn long time ago. Even if we don't need that tiny title for ourselves we should at least go for it just for the gooners to feel shite. I think our resent towards them should be enough. Anyone got an idea how Arsenal will play? They got such a huge squat, I got no idea. But i guess it will be something like -----------Cech----------- Bellerin-Per-Kos--Gibbs -----Coqelin--Wilshere-- Ramsay----Özil----Cazorla ------------Walcott---------- If I were Wenger, which thank God I am not, I woud play like this. But they could just as well play Walcott or Chamerlain on the wings and Giroud up front. Our first team is far superior imo, especially when it is fresh and rested. Though they are in better early season form having started their preparations earlier. Let's hope our individual class shines through and our attackers run rings around Mertesacker. They surely will be up to it and usually the team that is more eager to win does win such a game like it was the case when they played City last season. HOpefully it will be the other way round this time.
  21. Callejon, Pedro, Candreva - no smoke without fire, we are obviously interested in a 28 y.o. right winger who can score goals, which probably means if true, we are gonna get rid of one or rather two of Moses, Cuad, Traore and Kenedy.
  22. I think it is only a matter of time until English teams rule Europe again. The problem with BPL teams is they are tactically inferior and have a more bloated schedule hence more fatigue. But in terms of financial superiority this is only the beginning. In 10 years, all English clubs will be so wealthy, their failures on other aspects will be masked by their superior signings.
  23. wth. Mou maintained we do need a midfielder and now we should sign Cambiasso? Would make us look very stingy or even weak. Apart from that I think he is too old and slow to make a difference hear. Not really any better than Mikel.
