thank you, that's great news. btw nice profile pic, u got a bigger biceps than Ronaldo

Is there a buyback clause? Lets hope so. sad to see him leave, especially if we have to keep Matic now. Also sad that we could not keep an average player here even with outrageous wages as he is homegrown, from our academy even. Need to buy another midfielder now for sure.

It is. Thank you.

My feeling is that Morata is still our no.1 target for the striker position and that we are flirting with Belotti and Aubameyang to get the price down. But I am optimistic we will get Morata in the end.
-
His pace makes the tap ins as it takes him away from the defender when the cross is made. also He can create chances himself with his pace and close control too. Aubameyang is one of the most deadly counter attacking strikers I have ever seen. He reminds me of a young, faster Anelka, tall enough to be a decent aerial thread but still nimble enough to dribble around defenders. His finishing is about as good as Costa's. The qeustion is if we want to take such a high risk on a 28 y.o. who relies heavily on his pace. I think this is hugely a matter of money. If we can get it down under 60m pounds I would be on board. if he is just as expensive as Morata, I would take the latter because of his age. On a sidenote he is an avid Nike ambassador, using every opportunity for a PR coup. So should fit in well with our new sponsor.

Yup 50m+ ist absolutely mental. With all due respect for all in or nothing transfer policy but they are not doing themselves faovurs with that one. Crazy club. If he is worth 50m, I gladly pay 70m for Alex Sandro.

Sadly, I have not been able to post in the transfer talk section for days now...I know you guys are working hard on this issue but is there a fix in sight?

http://www.espnfc.com/club/lazio/112/blog/post/3111862/why-clubs-shouldnt-overspend-on-lazio-winger-keita-balde nice piece on him. Deosn't sound like a Conte signing. Lazio is the 2nd club he falls out with after barca. Said to lack character, defensive discipline and tactical intelligence. No idea if he is worth the hassle, brilliant touch though.

Utd must be batshit crazy if they woudl rather pay 40m for Matic than for Bakayoko. However, Mourinho has some perverted fondness for tall men with questionable fine motor skills. He is like the Prussian soldier king Friedrich Wilhelm buidlign a squad only consisting of men who at least 6 Prussian feet tall. lol
-
No quotes, no sources stated. I do no know how reliable the express is but that story looks fake news. However, it is true, we are far too slow in closing deals down for some time now. No idea why our board sucks so much but this is Bakayoko saga is particularly frustrating.
-
If that would actually happen we would have bigger problems than getting a new midfielder. We would need a new board first cos this one obviously can't get shit done to save their lives.
-
Lukaku said he knew where he would go so in all likeliness he was destined for Utd all the time as his agent Raiola probably could guarantee a move there already with his connections to Woodward and Mourinho. We just put in a cheeky bid to annoy them and maybe unsettle Lukaku. But if we really wanted him in the first place we would have bid earlier. Not even our board is stupid enough to only start bidding after another team does. With his agent and his buddy Pogba indoctrinating him we hardly ever got a chance. But he has always been a controversial character and would have been a nuisance here from time to time. When a player chooses to follow his buddy and his agent instead of making his own decisions I am not too concerned that we will miss out.

I sometimes get the idea that he weakened us on purpose to cover his ass by selling Mata, Rom, Sarah and most importantly KDB. Completely backfired with Conte outclassing him so far.
-
Maybe I have not understood, but have not Everton and Utd agreed a 75m fee already. Why do they have to agree a 90m fee now?
-
why is it in our interest to import all Africa to Germany? All Merkel is good at is doing everything she can to stay in power. Merkel is like our board doing fuck all after winning a campaign.
-
I guess now he will be cheaper than what Madrid wanted from utd for him. Let's hope that was the plan from the very beginning
-
Not mentioning that Alvaro Morata has not grabbed headlines for a good year now footballing wise. Which strikers would you suggest then anyway?
-
That is correct. I am an amateur fitness athlete myself but thank you. But when you watch that clip closely you see that instead of pushing the weight away from him, he is pushing himself upwards the bar on that seat because its pin is not even locked. Either that particular leg press there works the other way round than every leg press I have ever seen or he has no clue how that thing works and is just playing around lol
-
Would be decent back up striker. Would be so Chelsea to buy an ageing past it player who might have something left but probably hasn't to be back up striker. Even if we sign them a strikeforce of Belotti/Morata/Lukaku + Bats + Llorente does not really strike fear into anyone on the highest level.
-
Why is he running around in a Lyon kit and dafuq is he doing with that leg press there. Anyway. The more grave question there is why the heck has he been hanging around that Clairefontaine training centre for weeks now instead of being on holiday or even better in London being presented when he is as good as our player already?
-
My experience with Italians is: the worse their English the better their food. But I am not sure this logic also applies for the reliability of their information^^
-
30m sounds decent business. Would be so Chelsea to sell him this early. Let's hope Marina can get 40m out of them.
-
which is a shame. We badly need one. Willian and Pedro are almost 30 and not getting any younger. Douglas Costa combines Willian's pace and Pedro's movement.
-
Bild who are usually well informed when it comes to Bayern claim that the Douglas Costa to Juve deal is off. 40m € for a very good, left footed winger is decent business. We should be all over him IMO. When injury free he is quality and we should be able to fend off competition from Inter Milan easily. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/bayern-muenchen/costa-deal-vor-dem-aus-52436400.bild.html
-
I would have gladly taken him but he probably does not fit Conte's approach. Otherwise we should have been in for him as he is quality. But as long as quality players who do not join us, join Arsenal I am happy. They will never challenge for the big titles anyway under Wenger. That being said. Kolasinac and Lacazette are both great signings and they assembled a very decent squad. Still, they had a decent squad last season too and even bottled their 4th place trophy So no worries.
