  1. A retrospective points deduction would be crossing the rubicon. I see the temptation for the FA cos this might hand their darling Liverpool the title on the green table but it would hurt the purity of the PL which is one of its USPs. At least to the outside the PL presents itself as clean, competitive and unlike corrupted banana republic leagues like La Liga and Serie A. That is why IMO even if City get a point deduction there should be no premiership title rewarded at all. Imagine both liverpool and city would get deducted like 30 points and we end up champions after one of the performance-wise shittiest ever seasons, that would crack me up but honestly i would not even want that. I dont think that City have done worse than PSG who also were let of the hook after maing a "donation". It is more that UEFA is looking for excuses to break the English dominance before it really begins, like last time when they paid Övröbö to rob us vs Barca to prevent a retake of the 2008 final. One could also make a case for the 2005 garcia ghost goal, even though that backfired and for sure those torrid decisions in the 2012 semifinal vs Barca which also failed. So now because manipulating refs failed more often than not they are targeting not even letting English teams enter the competition.
  2. At least he does better half-time talks than Sarri by the looks of it^^ But yeah. he needs more time obviously. But i donÄt even think he needs that many. like 5 years consistent improvement will probably do. His 4-3-3 with 4-1-2-1-2 thrown with medium to low block and lots of classic English wingplay is most similar to Carlo and Mourinho's systems but a bit more offensive.
  3. Lamps is not ready to coach us and he probably knows it himself. He really would be doomed to fail. Getting Lamps as coach now is like playing your best card in the first round. He will be our manager some day for sure. But not when he has not even built a football identity and the club is in turmoil. The two things he has over Sarri is that he is a football legend plus he is a club legend so he would command respect from the squad and all people around the club. So i would expect him to achieve more than Sarri but we are so behind, that would still equal to 0 titles and maybe 15 points behind 2nd place. Lamps is destined to win the CL with us so lets wait until we realistcally can expect to do so. Honestly, I really would like to get rid of Sarri. Not because he has not delivered in the end. I think 26 points off the top of the league and league cup and EL cup final is about right with the squad we have. I don't buy the squad is shit BS. The squad is mediocre but still the tied 4th best squad in the league together with Arsenal and Tottenham so being a few points ahead of those is fine. It is more that ManUre extremely underachieved. Nuno espirito santo would be a better choice right now. Obviously I have always wanted Allegri bc he can deal with a washed up squad of over-age, ok-ish players and still get the best out of them
  4. on a side note when Izzy brown came in for bamford... our academy graduates populate the championship.... 60 years 2nd division for leeds lol
  5. Derby in the final... fuck you leeds super sub marriott from lamps... glorious 4-2 away win. Derby lost 3 times to Leeds yet bested them in the end
  6. 3-1. Would be quite an achievement for Lamps to take them to the pl...also leeds and bielsa deserve to go out now for their dirty antics fuck 3-2
  7. One has to say tho, that the WC players leaving the premier league for Barca and Real are getting gradually older again. Ronaldo at 24, Modric and Bale at 26, Suarez 27, Hazard 28. The new old galacticos like the ones with 30 something van Nistelrooy and Beckham are a trend again^^ Hazard has been our best player since 2014 and will only get worse from now. Surely the inferior La liga will give him a stats boost but I don't think he will be the monster there he was here and I also do not think he is gonna win the CL there. The age of La Liga is over. The age of Orc errr the PL has come. This time for good.
  8. Well the only positives are that it is for the best of causes, it might be a decent teambuilding exercise and might help the youths to feel a part of the first team. Still absolute brainfart to cut Regeneration time this short. Roman or whoever sheduled that obviously did not even expect us tonreach elnor fa cup final or ainply did not care. Tells you everything about the state of a club
  9. And Hitler earned 4500 times more. Doesnt mean you cant judge him lol.
  10. It is also the other way round. Because of all the money invested in English youth deveolpment and the conpetitiveness producing tons of frustrated talents German scouts are almost exclusively searching in England now. I just recently read an interview with bvb Director zorc that 70-80% of their scouting material is on Propsects trained in england and they will employ even more scouts there in the future.
  11. would be mad scary at Liverpool, imagine that front 3 with even more pace. Maybe they would then finish second with 112 points lol
  12. please no. Would be a typical Morata-style board signing. Blindly splashing out an overpriced fee for a fancy player from a fancy Spanish club who has never consistently delivered when under pressure and is not even undisputed first choice nor top5 in his position.
  13. I dont thnk he has improved at all sicne joining us from Marseille which is mainly because he has 0 footballing intelligence. He is the Willian of centre forwards. All the primary skills (pace, strength, finishing, aerial ability, positioning) needed for his position but none of the secondary ones (game intelligence, anticipation, off the ball movement, link-up play, passing). He is still a bang average footballer but he is at least athletic and mobile so he would score a lot more than HIgs and Giroud even though he will be just as frustrating to watch when fucking up attacks with his poor link-up play. But i 'd rather have a striker who is useless in link-up play but scores than someone who is ok at link-up play like the ones we got but either cant finish or is too slow to get into finishing positions. Giroud is just terrible in the box because he is so stiff and immobile. Whenever Hazard puts a brilliant low cross into the box giroud can do fuck all with it because he niether has the anticipation nor the agility to get in front of his marker and connect with it. And when he does he tries some outlandish backheel flick. Giroud on the other hand is still a world class finisher but can be taken out of the game by his inability to move back from offside and can easily intercepted when on the ball as he is so fucking slow in acceleration. Also he has a movement radius of a beermat. Michy as an athletic all round package. whilst without any outstanding physical qualities he is always either stronger, quicker, more agile or simply faster to react than his marker which makes every ball you send in to him in the box a potential goal.
  14. lol so the atmosphere will be fantastic, so many young enthusiastic people will have the chance to travel to Baku in great numbers thanks to the great foresight and clemency of Uefa... in other words a typical Arsenal home game
  15. The Europa league was his first tile at Chelsea, let it also be the last.
  16. Sarri is shit and needs to go. He is not good enough and never will be. He is completely out of his depth as is Marina, the rest of her muppets and half of the squad. Sarri is only the peak of the iceberg. His appointment is the result of poor of a multi-year streak of poor business and football decisions. As is the amount of power that has been amassed by certain directors in the club that has also seen a plethora of average players signed and stay here for good.
  17. lol makes you almost hope the ban will stick so they will not invest it on those two turds. I actually do not care how much we get for Hazard because we either will not be able to do shit with it or do actual shit with it. I think we will drop out of the top 4 but we will still be in Europe. Hazard leaving will cost us 20-25 points but others will step up in his absence so we regain maybe 10-15 points. I think 60 points are a reasonable tally for next season. And i honestly do not mind a few years of mediocrity to the point that i would stop being fan. sure i would want us to win titles but something radical such as a club sale would need to happen fo rus to be competitive again. We have been on a downward spiral not only since 2012 which was lucky and the (second) last hurray of the old guard but since 2010 where we last were the dominant force in England not only by luck but by sheer class and were unlucky to go out vs Inter in the CL (people talk about övröbo but we were denied 2 clear penalites here as well)
  18. white is not his colour. makes him look super pale and will accentuate his love handles^^
  19. fair enough. But actually I was trying to make a point about how Pulisic consistently displayed all the character qualities I value in a footballer. Humility, work ethic, white-belt mentality and full dedication on his task. I think that is something you miss in 95% of footballers who become entitled with their first big deal and never get their heads out of the clouds ever again.
  20. Even though he is so far just a pace merchant with reasonable footballing ability he already has a life-long reputation of professionalism and dedication in all of the footballing world. I do not think he has the out of this world talent like Hazard but he has the right work ethics and age to become a very good player.
  21. That's true. even if we take that 1 draw out bc CL football was also secured, it is still a poor record. Just ending up in the top 4 is not an argument Sarri should take into field to justify hims taying. He has to win EL to make this season kina a success and remain coach. Even though IMO, even if he beats Arsenal 10-0 he is a failrue and should be sacked.
  22. No we wont. English teams dont play them any more
  23. Play anyone just not the guys who will play in the final. -------------------Willy------- Zappa--Gazza-anyone--Alonso ------------------anyone---------------- ------Kovacic-----------Barkley------- Anyone-----------Higuain-------Anyone I have no clue who from the u23 we can play and who are out on loan so just fill that out accordingly lol
  24. Pogba is really hit and miss tho, despite being already 26 he is quite immature. dictatign the tempo is such an overrated ability. even toni kroos cant dictate any tempo when the midfield is overrun or he has to play vs a low block. dictating the tempo is only useful in very few match situations and even then it is easy to learn for any midfielder. long passes is the only thing i would say, pogba has on RLC so far. And if RLC gets his injury stuff right he can become the superior player given he is more than 3 years younger.
