  1. Why do people keep saying that? As if he suddenly stopped scoring. He scored 11 goals since joining Milan, 22 in the league overall. He had an excellent season. Jovic on the other hand has only scored 2 goals since sgining for Frankfurt on a fixed contract both of those goals were vs us. 17 of his goals have come in the first hal of the season. So who is the one signed based ona 4month hot streak?
  2. Mind Milan got Piatek for peanuts who is basically the exact same player (fit, sturdy, 6ftish poacher with decent pace, great finishing and positioing, decent hold-up play and passing) -.- Still so mad at the board for getting washed up Higs instead.
  3. https://www.fnp.de/eintracht-frankfurt/eintracht-frankfurt-sge-bleibt-jovic-einzigartigen-trumpf-hand-zr-12250606.html german media now reporting, the deal jovic to real is off due to Eintracht demanding 100m. Heck i would demand that too. They need the money tho, tha tis the only reason he is not going for 100m in the end. I still expect this deal to go through but more for like 80m.
  4. And both way superior players as well. Pulisic might well have the higher ceiling tho and is cobsiderably younger as well Still smart business. Both would be an upgrade on willi and pedro Not players that win you the league but can get you in the cl. So with our poor ambition this is what we should aim for. Back in the glory days i would have told you to fuck off with Brand and Thorgan. But now they would constitute smart business at that price for us as well. Doubt eberl and völler would sell tonus that cheaply tho. More like a 60% epl tax on top
  5. Yup amazing player. Seldom seen a player this young be so fast and so composed at high speed. Good finisher as well. Would love to see him in the PL and develop his physical side more. Doubt that will happen tho as bayern will tell him to run down his contract and take him in 2022 for free. If he does not budge PL clubs might have a chance. One has to say that in Bosz's super offensive system he was basically a second striker very often. Still even for a striker his 1 goal per 175 mins is impressive. Also consider the quality of the finishes. Surely a bright future ahead if he manages to stay fit.
  6. I think Bats is a better CF all round, but we don't have bags of quality up top. Really?well BAts is already 25 and still playing like a raw talent. Jesus is already pretty polished, possibly quicker and technically more proficient than Bats. I would definitely have Gabriel Jesus as 1st striker over anyone we have rn, mostly because he offers something different and is actually a fine footballer. Whoever will be leading the line next season, I hope it will not be fucking Giroud or Higs.
  7. He is better than any of our 5 strikers. HIs only fault is probably that he is no Agüero.
  8. The sight and smell alone is disgusting. The smoke is proven to be unhealthy even in small doses. Smoking at work is extremely unprofessional and also impedes mental and physical capacity. Also it is bad for marketability. But it suits Sarri very well, as a man from yesterday, to consume drugs from yesterday
  9. that would be great. especially if they give us a fee like we did at Napoli. Would also be a great chance for the Serie A so that a different club can win it for once.
  10. That would actually be a decent call haha. Still Allegri reached a cl final with contes squad and two semis
  11. Allegri is 100 times the coach Sarri is. He is a proven winner and gets the maximum out of big egos, lazy and washed up players. He is perfect for a club not willing to spend big but still win the odd title. Sarri is from yesterday with his medieval 433 and anachronistic posession football
  12. ARE THEY FUCKIGN SERIOUS? Cant believe it. HOw did he even step on the pitch for that useless pre-season friendly. never mind the fucking EL final but missing half of next season dafuq. i ma so done with the management of this club. He was the one playe ri was really excited to see progress and this injury is potentially career wrekcing and at the worst possible timing, so sad for the lad and absolutely furious with the board/RA to even schedule this fucking friendly and second with sarri to play him.
  13. A retrospective points deduction would be crossing the rubicon. I see the temptation for the FA cos this might hand their darling Liverpool the title on the green table but it would hurt the purity of the PL which is one of its USPs. At least to the outside the PL presents itself as clean, competitive and unlike corrupted banana republic leagues like La Liga and Serie A. That is why IMO even if City get a point deduction there should be no premiership title rewarded at all. Imagine both liverpool and city would get deducted like 30 points and we end up champions after one of the performance-wise shittiest ever seasons, that would crack me up but honestly i would not even want that. I dont think that City have done worse than PSG who also were let of the hook after maing a "donation". It is more that UEFA is looking for excuses to break the English dominance before it really begins, like last time when they paid Övröbö to rob us vs Barca to prevent a retake of the 2008 final. One could also make a case for the 2005 garcia ghost goal, even though that backfired and for sure those torrid decisions in the 2012 semifinal vs Barca which also failed. So now because manipulating refs failed more often than not they are targeting not even letting English teams enter the competition.
  14. At least he does better half-time talks than Sarri by the looks of it^^ But yeah. he needs more time obviously. But i donÄt even think he needs that many. like 5 years consistent improvement will probably do. His 4-3-3 with 4-1-2-1-2 thrown with medium to low block and lots of classic English wingplay is most similar to Carlo and Mourinho's systems but a bit more offensive.
  15. Lamps is not ready to coach us and he probably knows it himself. He really would be doomed to fail. Getting Lamps as coach now is like playing your best card in the first round. He will be our manager some day for sure. But not when he has not even built a football identity and the club is in turmoil. The two things he has over Sarri is that he is a football legend plus he is a club legend so he would command respect from the squad and all people around the club. So i would expect him to achieve more than Sarri but we are so behind, that would still equal to 0 titles and maybe 15 points behind 2nd place. Lamps is destined to win the CL with us so lets wait until we realistcally can expect to do so. Honestly, I really would like to get rid of Sarri. Not because he has not delivered in the end. I think 26 points off the top of the league and league cup and EL cup final is about right with the squad we have. I don't buy the squad is shit BS. The squad is mediocre but still the tied 4th best squad in the league together with Arsenal and Tottenham so being a few points ahead of those is fine. It is more that ManUre extremely underachieved. Nuno espirito santo would be a better choice right now. Obviously I have always wanted Allegri bc he can deal with a washed up squad of over-age, ok-ish players and still get the best out of them
  16. on a side note when Izzy brown came in for bamford... our academy graduates populate the championship.... 60 years 2nd division for leeds lol
  17. Derby in the final... fuck you leeds super sub marriott from lamps... glorious 4-2 away win. Derby lost 3 times to Leeds yet bested them in the end
  18. 3-1. Would be quite an achievement for Lamps to take them to the pl...also leeds and bielsa deserve to go out now for their dirty antics fuck 3-2
  19. One has to say tho, that the WC players leaving the premier league for Barca and Real are getting gradually older again. Ronaldo at 24, Modric and Bale at 26, Suarez 27, Hazard 28. The new old galacticos like the ones with 30 something van Nistelrooy and Beckham are a trend again^^ Hazard has been our best player since 2014 and will only get worse from now. Surely the inferior La liga will give him a stats boost but I don't think he will be the monster there he was here and I also do not think he is gonna win the CL there. The age of La Liga is over. The age of Orc errr the PL has come. This time for good.
  20. Well the only positives are that it is for the best of causes, it might be a decent teambuilding exercise and might help the youths to feel a part of the first team. Still absolute brainfart to cut Regeneration time this short. Roman or whoever sheduled that obviously did not even expect us tonreach elnor fa cup final or ainply did not care. Tells you everything about the state of a club
  21. And Hitler earned 4500 times more. Doesnt mean you cant judge him lol.
  22. It is also the other way round. Because of all the money invested in English youth deveolpment and the conpetitiveness producing tons of frustrated talents German scouts are almost exclusively searching in England now. I just recently read an interview with bvb Director zorc that 70-80% of their scouting material is on Propsects trained in england and they will employ even more scouts there in the future.
  23. would be mad scary at Liverpool, imagine that front 3 with even more pace. Maybe they would then finish second with 112 points lol
  24. please no. Would be a typical Morata-style board signing. Blindly splashing out an overpriced fee for a fancy player from a fancy Spanish club who has never consistently delivered when under pressure and is not even undisputed first choice nor top5 in his position.
