Mount is useless on the wing
-
Chilwell owning Java’s in the air is nice to see
-
That’s harsh we have been brilliant offensively last 2 games.
-
What a tackle by Diego Carlos
-
Kante continuing his poor form for us
-
Mount indeed on the left ffs
-
Sure it might
-
That attitude brought us all the dregs
-
No real quality available tho
-
apparently silva is starting despite limping and taking painkillers. does not bode well
-
Ok so we are screwed again. How can you be so unlucky -.-

This is it. We have mendy and chilwell starting, so we have a chance of winning this. No excuses now. Sevilla will be our hardest opponent this season. i hope we dont sit back like cowards but with this lineup we hardly can. lets hope Kai rips fernando a new one. Rakitic is hardly better than Jorginho these days either. There only players i find more or less decent are ocampos, carlos and bono, the goalie. Their strength is in the pack, they are finely tuned, have a good manage,r know themselves inside out. what they lack in individual quality they have in tactical finesse. it will be a hard piece of work

looks like Pulisic is on the left based on the lineup being read from right to left. good lineup overall. Only gripe is Mount but i guess ziyech is not fit for 90mins yet and CHO cant be trusted.
-
I hate him there as well but o guess the reasoning is that someone has to cover for Chilwell a forward runs and carry the ball up to the creative players. Otherwise we might look disjointed like in the mazarcar days
-
Ah maybe it was Wigan not blackburnwhere we conceded that late equaliser but Bolton was on the last day where we did not have a chance to win the title anyway bc of goal difference with a Utd win
-
German authorities confirmed the authenticity of his cameroonian birth certificate but the parents declined to do an x-ray test... he has more wrinkles in his face already than most 20 year olds so he does look older + he has been listed as 1,79m for quite some time now which is a bit odd. If he doesn't grow anymore, it will be quite obvious...

That is not correct. We still would have needed to win both games vs Newcastle and Bolton with +15 goals gd after the Ballack win vs Manure. It was a last minute Equalizer vs Blackburn 2 Match days earlier that cost us the league. Still I think we had the best team in the world in 2008 and night have won it all with a more competent manager. I think saf gave manure the edge to pull it off

That is selective af. He looked by far the least comfortable in that midfield. Even the commentators pointed out how he would fuck up most attacks by staying too long on the ball. Ross is dross and was completely out of his depth at CFC
-
This. an indirect freeick from the fucking left channel never leads to anything FFS But even more infuriating is that he doesn not even use his hands the second time when he is free to go and somehow manages to tackle the ball back to adams an dnot out of play instead. he is so incredibly bad that it is some special skill again.

Couldnt disagree more. Grealish is one of the most overrated players in the league. Fancy stuff here and there but no discipline off the pitch. I wish Utd had spent thatmoney on him cos everyone would then see him as the average player he is. There is a reason why he is rotting away his best years at a relegation fodder club. Current purple patch wont change that.

It is naive to expect Lamps to be 100% honest with the press tho
-
Completely misjudged it. He could have simply made himself and cover the post ball would have gone out for a corner. Instead he did the opposite, in fact he did the only thing other than nothing at all that would still make us concede the goal after Southampton attackers had fucked up themselves by tackling it onto the post. Mendy would simply have extended one of his spider limbs and cleared the situation.

Mou was sadly not in charge in Moscow. I agree with the point tho. If we hadn’t needlessly offended prime Mou after a few bad result we would have won cL and league in 2008 bc we came super close with Grant who was a worse coach then eve current Mou

Pretty sure that play indeed was rehearsed albeit the finish was improvised. It is a signature move from Werner but the player passing to him needs to be instructed where and how hard to pass so the dummy makes the Ball run into space

I think so too. You either have it or you don't. That mental toughness that might look arrogant to some to just not be fazed by your own shortcomings and simply move on from bad mistakes. Think Manuel Neuer. Fall 2007 young Manuel Neuer makes his first CL away game vs a big club, vs Chelsea at the bridge. In the 4 the minute Malouda mishits a shot from 13 yards on the left that rolls into the arms of Neuer: Instead of making a routine save he lets it roll between both his arms and his legs into the goal. We completely dominate Schalke afterwards but could have scored a ton but Neuer makes a few decent saves, so we only win 2-0. Just a few years later he is the best goalkeeper in the world and is world class to this date. 4 years later Neuer, now the best goalkeeper in the world, makes his first game for Bayern vs Gladbach. in the 62nd minute a lose headers falls near bowers, neuer tells boateng to stay away, comes out to clear the ball but runs past it like a headless chicken. Bayern lose the game 1-0 and never come back from it in the league, losing all possible titles that season once more. He has committed many more comical erros like these ones. most but surely not all early in his career. The difference to weaker keepers is he understands and analyses his errors and moves on. nothing like this has ever shot his confidence. In the interviews after these terrible mistakes you could see he just does not seem to give a fuck. He does care but he never shows it, never shows any weakness. That is why his defenders trust in him. No because he never makes mistakes, but because he never lets mistake harm his self-confidence. The belief in yourself to know that for every goal-costing mistake you make 4 match winning saves. Which he does. We do not even talk about them anymore but Neuer has made 6 match winning saves in 2 CL finals without anyone mentioniong them at great lengths bc they are just normal for him even though no other goalkeeper would have made those saves. A goalkeeper like this can make tons of mistakes never loses faith of his defenders. This gives the defenders confidence to push up higher, cos they know who will be weary off his line. It allows the defenders to drop deeper when necessary, even allow shots from distance cos they know the keeper will save them. the defenders know, even an under- or overhit pass will be no problem for the keeper, so they remain confident and dont even fuck that pass up in the first place. Kepa is the exact opposite. He causes the whole defence to shit their pants every time the opponent launch an attack. kepa feels this and becomes even more nervous. it is a vicious cycle. It will probably only end once kepa leaves for good.
