I agree it probably gets the best out of our best players and clears up the midfield dilemma with there being more than enough cover for the front three, esp as lampard sees Mount as slotting in seamlessly in any of the 5 wing position. The problem is that Kante and Kovacic does not really work bc Kovacic is not a sitting midfielder, i.e. both are too similar in temrs of movement patterns and having no back up means Kante will be run in the ground without backup. I am also not sure yet whether Billy G can play in a midfield 2. A physical ball-playing DM is probably what the is still missing to complete the ultimate FL team.

It was an absolute class move from Lampard back then on both incidents and selfish from Drogba to ask (even worse than Tammy). Lampard said to Drogs ‘I will put this game to bed and you will have your chance on the next’ if Tammy (or Timo for that matter) had approached Jorginho and asked for it it may have been a different story. But Tammy just took it (even tho Timi needed it more) and would have been vindicated in His selfish behavior making Jorginho & Azpi look weak if the captain had not stepped in. Luckily Azpi sorted it out and Jorginho dispatched it. No idea how you can blame Jorginho here. He arrived to the scene last and was handed the ball by Azpi. Crazy to think that we have the 4th best defence in the PL so far. We might not have a good defence, but ManU, Pool conceded the same number of goals (or more) today than we in all 4 games (or City in the last 2). Defending seems a lost art in modern footy.
