Guys - all of you saying that was a Red card - REALLY? If that was a Chelsea player you would be fuming! Nani was watching the BALL - how could he see Arbeloa? The fact neither were hurt shows it was a nothing situation, yellow card at best! I don't like Utd - but I hate fucking incompetent European Referees even more! Absolute fucking travesty!

But hang on a minute... Are we saying a players potential is not intrinsically linked to a club? We have had no managerial stability, no coaching ethos, no chance for players to be drilled tactically - military style until it becomes second nature... Everything we do on the pitch - looks like a collection of players - not a team... Now, some players need the team element - hence why average Swansea, Norwich and Wigan players look good on the ball - as the team and coaching ethos allows them to do this. I think both Luiz and Ramires have suffered - they needed a strong manager to instil a playing style for them in the EPL - that hasn't happened, they've basically played in a few positions and never been given a long term chance. Yes Luiz and Ramires are wasteful in possession - but the Brazil team has good movement and understanding - we don't have that at Chelsea! I have been saying for ages our attacking shape and ideas are awful and easy to defend against - we get in great positions then slowly pass the ball all the way back to the keeper... Instead of finishing the attacking sequence... So in summary a Great manager can get players playing at levels beyond their natural ability. We haven't had this for a while - it is sorely needed...

Aye he's not a bad bloke, my Ex her work mate is his Sister and met him at a BBQ - he's just a normal bloke. He even said I get one split second decision - you watch endless replays and then decide. He was an advocate of technology in the game, but said its political - as with any company the 'doom mongerers' said the ref team could be cut down with technology - rather than it being solely augmenting them - that was 6 years ago, so likely things/feelings have changed. I still think he's ok and less poncy than Clattenberg!

Agree - I see no problem with Mata/Oscar playing for the same role - and being rotated next season. We have relied on Mata way too much and we burn the guy to pieces - if he isn't playing, we ain't... It's healthy to have competition for places and both Oscar and Mata can play other positions too - so will get plenty of play time... Lets see what Mou thinks

All will be forgiven for Torrid and FSW if this happens and CR7 as well #nice we could use him nicely - he's a midfielder that can score and replace lamps, offers good width him on the left, Hazard on right Mata/Oscar in the middle nice or maybe play him up front a la Walcott? Just make Mourinho happen !!! The least the fans deserve after the last 6 years!!!

They are a well organised, technical team - but do (compared to EPL) teams lack the final toughness needed to win matches. If we convert our chances, should be relatively easy, if we don't - could be a draw best case and loss worst case... Like I said a great footballing team and we should be mindful of under estimating them a la Corinthians...
