Bib is the fluorescent thing the players wear over their training tops. The one Diego got mad with and flung in Mourinho's direction Yes, it also refers to the thing a baby wears to stop food and sick ruining their clothes

Sounds legit

Source? Can go to sleep feeling a little better then

I think my post was one of those where you had to be involved in the thread at the time, at the time it made sense. 5 hours later it looks a bit poor It's never good to use that language either

If true, even in the heat of the moment - thats probably an irreversible comment and the player should be shown the door. If not, it sets a bad precedent. Fergie would not have tolerated that, neither should we.
-
I think he's an 'Interim' appointment, much like Rafa, I believe from the limited info, we are also looking for a longer term manager... I wonder if they will be as rude to Guus as they were to Rafa, prefixing his name with Interim! Always thought that was a little harsh on the FSW. Good call on the squad mentalities - that's been debated no end tonight
-
Is that supposed to be factual? There you go - all square, one critique each...
-
Thanks for the critique, I will be sure to return the favour

I guess it depends on which Mou they get If they get Mk2 - I agree If Mk1 reappears - I will be apoplectic and will probably self combust into a ball of shame

Jesus - you don't get creative license do you? Everyone was calling somebody a cunt - go read my other posts, am I calling Jose a cunt there? No! It was a tongue in cheek moment, but hey, if that's what you think of me, then who am I to argue.

Yup, Domino's only for me, from now on!

She could be back mate - if as it seems we are not contesting her claim, she has remedies open to her and one of those is reinstatement If the board haven't contested her claim, chances are they would be OK with reinstatement, it's then up to Eva if she wants to. I'm pretty cool with that in all honesty and hope it happens, Eva had a nice vibe on the bench with the players

I wouldn't say number 1 - just overreacting a little Easy to go into keyboard warrior mode Aye, you won't hear me knocking the fans at the match, I don't get to many games now, last was 8-0 vs Villa, flew over and took my younger brother with me. But the support on Monday was impressive - loud and clear, can't ask for more than that!

OK, miracle was a bit far, but we started so well and then just died and dragged ourselves over the line. I admit, I thought that would be a turning point, Jose instilling a winners mentality into the players - but it just didn't seem to happen. Maybe it's me, but younger people nowadays just seem more fragile, when I look back at teachers and bosses, some were lunatics, but it taught you mental toughness, maybe that's missing from modern pampered players? Whatever the problem, it just got worse and worse. For me, financial stability and self generating income is an important part of a Club, who knows what could happen in the future, being financially astute is never a bad thing. I agree the constant u-turns for the youth team are not helpful or conducive to a conveyor belt process, but to me the footballing identity should be set by the club and the manager is responsible for implementing it,if we did this, then the manager merry-go-round would have little overall impact I honestly don't know who I want long term I'm more than happy for Hiddink to come in, calm the situation down and see how he does, if the club can work on my point above, then the disruption of the next manager coming along will be reduced. I don't think Pep is the answer here. I would have taken Klopp in a heartbeat. I think Koeman could do a decent job, or maybe Frank De Boer could be an ideal person. Phone typing killing me - hitting the sack

Ouch, I have been supporting them since I was born in 1976, I was born in a flat off Kings Road, called Mulberry House, bus-stop outside of it, always wanted to be a bus driver until I got older and realised the pay sucks and you get constant abuse... My old man tried to make me Millwall, but having none of that, that's where he was born, rest of the family are from Hackney, so are Spuds. I get you hate the situation - I don't think my arguments will persuade you, and I get the distinct impression my arguments just seem to imflame you further I have really enjoyed the debate - let's hope we can one day wave a plastic flag together and put that on Facebook :)

Yes, I agree - he managed to pull off a miracle. Nobody denies he can win trophies, but consistently over a long period, that's where problems seem to have emerged. Let's face it, this season is pretty identical to his last season at Real Madrid - the outbursts, the alienation of players, the humiliation of Matic, the argument with Medical staff, the crazy pressers - just something snapped and he wasn't acting normal! Attacking philosophy is a natural reaction to having a crop of attack minded players, but using them to try and grind out 1-0 wins, it's like using a Ferrari as a milk float - impractical and unrealistic. That in my mind is why there's so much chatter about attacking formation and philosophy, because that's what our current crop of players naturally gravitate towards. I don't think the club is at sea. We have made year on year advances towards cash neutrality, stadium expansion planned, great youth Acadamy and a move towards a sustainable business model. Thank God for FFP previously as it has put us in a great position to minimise the damage of the lack of revenue from this season. Let's see what the interim manager can achieve and if there is an ultimate successor already in the wings. Yes, it's a sad day, but now is the time for optimism I feel, it sure beats the alternatives...

I think the supporters kept Jose in a job far longer than any other manager. Whether that's to the detriment of the club, only time will tell. The cold hard facts are irrefutable though, the fairytale element is harder to dismiss. We were regressing at an alarming rate under a manager that seemed different as of Jan 15, the thumping by Spuds changed something and from that moment on, things went downhill fast. Klopp is different IMHO - he lost a lot of players to a rival and that's different to Cech being 'authorised' to move to Arsenal. For Dortmund it's a statement of, we will never be able to compete, so what's the point. For Chelsea, many (until the slump) saw it as a grand gesture towards a loyal and brilliant player, who was deemed surplus to requirements, but didn't want to uproot his family at a critical time in his children's education. Yes, looking back it wasn't ideal, but I still admire the club for this stance - it shows a genuine nature. It's easy to say I got what I want - but if you look at my history, this was the hardest decision I have ever had to make as a Chelsea fan, heart vs mind. I defended Mourinho to the hilt, numerous times and truly thought he just needed the carthetic moment of winning the league to shrug off the monkey of Real Madrid. I remember saying to everybody on here - just you wait, the real Mourinho (my Mourinho Mk1) will emerge this season and build a dynasty. I genuinely believed we would win back to back trophies and I would experience another night like I did in Munich, but this time with Jose! That dream, along with the season is in tatters Jose has also conducted himself appallingly this season, it's just been too much watching him unravel. I love the club, and for the club, I truly think we are better off without the current version of Jose. Every week I hoped he would turn it around, as did all of us, but it just wasn't going to happen. Yes, our Board and Players share equal blame! But it's happened and we all need to focus on the future now, not the past and as Jimmy Greaves used to say 'Football, it's a funny old game' - never rule out Mourinho Part 3....
-
Amen to that brother... I know I wanted him gone for the good of the team, but it's still sad and I do truly believe he wanted it to be different - but for some reason he couldn't shake the monkey from his back I remember debating this at length with @Barbara last season - we were discussing that now he has won the league, we will see a very different Mourinho this season. We did, but completely the opposite of what I, or anybody, expected. He definitely has some emotional hang-ups now, that weren't present pre-Madrid The continual need to big himself up send put others down. Hopefully, for his sake (Mourinho the man, he gets a nice break and exorcises those demons) I don't like his management style this time around, but I wish him all the best for the future, unless we are playing one of his teams...

Mate, Hazards a cunt, Roman's a cunt, Fabregas is a cunt, everyone is a cunt except the biggest cunt of all - Jose! He talked himself out of the job - and acted himself out of the job, but it's all the players fault Get the memo mate - Jose loves us, he can't be to blame... Yawn ? The truth is - nobody is blameless, except maybe the tea lady. It's just good to have closure and to move on, whatever the future brings, we have lived and made history - not great history, but pub quiz history - I'm sure this will win me a few beers in the future
-
Yeah to be fair I'm 39 and getting into Gazza mode I'm sure the young uns burn it off shit quick though, I don't ever remember worrying about my weight until I was mid 30's
-
straws, clutching.... It's not the same as Dortmund. Mourinho wanted Falcao Dildo - sure that shocked everyone, but Mourinho likes tall players and he got one. Roman was dammed if he did, dammed if he didn't. No win situation I personally think they should have acted much quicker and hoiked him out a good 7 weeks ago, so the timing has surprised me, I thought he would be here until the summer. I think his last press conference did it for him, without that, perhaps he could have stayed on - but that was too much. So Jose really only has himself to blame, he needs to keep a lid on his emotions, otherwise these are the consequences. Chelsea will go on as will JM... Today's news, tomorrows chip paper and some good memories...
-
Pfff he's on the Gazza diet Happens to us all
-
Fuck me - I would go with him too - massive payout every couple of years! Boom, early retirement beckons!
-
Hey does this mean Lionsden is allowed back on the board now? As ultimately he was right all along? I'm picturing and hearing the voice of vadar as he's dying in ROTJ - tell Lionsden he was right... Nice Star Wars twist to today's saga
-
For me Mourinho just hasn't adapted. Real Madrid broke him We got sloppy seconds - gone was the Mourinho I remember, instead we got a paranoid, grumpy little man! Towards the end was unbearable - if it was up to me, I would have put him out of his misery earlier, excruciating watching him unravel in front of the world and cameras. The Mourinho Mk1 - I will always love The Mourinho Mk2 - I will thank for his effort, but could never love him as before I think he needs to go back to Real Madrid and battle whatever demons are still eating away at him. It's sad to see him like this. I guess Mourinho is one of those people with the rare ability to make you feel 10ft tall or 1ft high. I suspect, that as his mood intensified the former became scarcer and the latter more prevalent, that's a quick way to lose a dressing room. I will still advocate that the players have not forced him out - just that the dynamic was no longer working - Mourinho tried everything and all it did was alienate the players further. I get people are emotional, but life moves on, remember the good times as nobody can predict the future ? Let's get our support on for the next game and pick up a much needed 3 points. A winning streak until the end of the season and who knows - could potentially nick a CL spot or lift the big eared trophy ? again
