  1. God no! He's useless I wouldn't take another striker from Liverpool. Ighalo from Watford for me £15million done deal...
  2. Go watch Ighalo - he's a good striker wouldn't mind signing him. And it's always nice to watch Pool lose
  3. Ighalo - What a player - let's sign him Watford 2 - 0 Wankers
  4. C'mon mate - that's an unfounded allegation, let's not rise to that, the truth will come out eventually...
  5. Jesus those memories, that's a bit I haven't used in a while, might have to find a VHS to DVD converter and watch some of those old season highlights again... Still surprised nobody is blaming Yokohama!!!
  6. Maybe, but I'm not sure his is the same vinegar as Mourinho's... I think Mou kinda lost the plot, I haven't (and not been paying close attention) seen Simeone throw his players under the bus, nor sub one on and off in the space of a few minutes. So it's probably not a comparison of apples to apples, more like apples to oranges
  7. I knew it didn't feel right as I typed it - yup Mr Sinclair, for a season or so he scored like 5 own goals, he was always pinging them in.. Heart wrenching looking at his distraught face afterwards. I think I was watching Chelsea TV and he was being interviewed and some other players kept ripping him about the own goals - saying how much he must have won from the bookies
  8. Hmmm they are currently trailing to a squad that cost less than their toilet block I do get what you are saying, I agree, they have put a fantastic infrastructure together, the problem is, there is no guaranteed recipe for success, that's what makes football so appealing. You can literally have everything and still lose out to an underdog. But yes, broad strokes - their philosophy is years ahead of ours, we've had more u-turns than the Labour & Conservative governments combined. The problem is, I think Roman likes to get involved, whereas Mansoor is slightly more passive. I get the critiscm of Emenalo, but who should we get to replace him as Director of Football? I feel at least with the new stadium plans we are moving in the right direction, pending CPO approval, our Academy is pretty decent, so we have all of the ingredients, just missing (some may argue the most important element) that definition of footballing ethos. Our random approach has worked to a certain extent and I think it could possibly work for the future, but I'm happy to be swayed. The smart money is on Pep to City, but football is full of twists and turns, so don't be surprised if he doesn't end up there. I think it's always easier to look at other clubs and think they are doing it better, but then they are looking over here at our trophy cabinet thinking fucking hell, why don't we go a bit crazy like Chelsea... Almost akin to the grass is always greener idiom. I used to plan everything, but sometimes it's impossible to plan for every eventuality and who was it who said, life is what happens whilst you're busy making plans... Let's just hope come Kick Off we put on a fight and deliver a much needed victory.
  9. Lmao always so suspicious I thought Rhino's had bad eyesight, how did you see that one coming Nah - I'm cool for tickets dude Just thought I'd stick up for you
  10. A husk of a Club that has won more trophies than that shower of shite from Manchester. They have spent way more than us and have barely scraped through in Europe, got done over by a bunch of pensioners playing for Yawn'ited, just laughable really... I think you worry too much about having a long term plan, the world is very short term now, nothing is built to last. None of us know how this will turn out, could be good, could be bad, but could be good, the only way to tell is live through it and it's easier to do that with a smile on your face...
  11. Why would she get boo'd? What has she done wrong exactly?
  12. Wow dude you are getting picked on tonight As a relatively new member (it seems to me) you probably haven't encountered the legend known as xPetrCechx He can sniff out a twitter post from halfway round the world I thought you asked a perfectly sensible question He is a good lad, as are you I'd hold out for them apologies dude! You deserve them :)
  13. That Era has passed IMHO You win more with honey than vinegar now, it's better to get people to buy into a philosophy, than rule by fear. Ruling by fear, doesn't earn respect. I don't know - think you are taking this player power thing a bit too far with little proof? That's not a criticism dude - you know I respect you - just an observation
  14. OK, but for me I could see Jose unravelling It's been hard to detect deliberate shit play from the players as it's been so bad I'm not sure I buy this is solely one player. But yeah maybe a thread lock might work, seem to be going round in circles.
  15. Sky Sports told me Agueros mum had purchased a flat in London and that meant he was destined for Chelsea See how reliable Sky Sports are!
  16. I can't believe one player is responsible, much like Jose wasn't solely responsible, stop falling into the trap of there must be a neat packaged solution - nothing apart from death and taxes is black and white in life, it's all shades of grey.. There has been a culmination of fault from many parties, leading to a decision. Time to move on, who knows this could be the biggest and best thing to ever to happen to Chelsea! Yes, that last sentence is pure speculation, but so is everything else that I have read about the situation, so why can't I promote some positive speculation? It's only the media that want heroes and villains
  17. IIRC Newton had an affinity with Own Goal, not as bad as Duberry, but let's hope he gets him playing tomorrow
  18. Lmfao - his fingers a swollen, blistered mess and still posting twitter links
  19. This thread should be locked for a few weeks, to save people the embarrassment of seeing this vitriol they have written be proven untrue. It's just ridiculous - Hazard and Cesc got Mourinho sacked? Yeah, definitely! Of course, it's that simple! What about the way Mou treated the staff, the humiliation of Matic, the constant meltdowns in public? Even if Cesc did speak out - I don't mind that, he's had a few decent'ish managers in his career and he probably thought this situation was mental... Commenting on something and causing Mou to be sacked are poles apart. It's like Disney listening to one negative review of the new star wars film and then pulling it from the cinemas... Yeah not gonna happen.
  20. Jesus can we stop with the twitter bullshit... Steve Holland stood up to Jose? When? Over what? As for the players that got rid of Mourinho, who are they, nobody can pinpoint them, because they don't exist? Stop buying into the media circus ?
  21. Lmao nice limerick something made me smile on the TC forums didn't think that would happen for a while
  22. And Cesc and Costa may well be moved on, it is speculation, as none of us know the full story. Mourinho wasn't working for a number of reasons and the final culmination of this was the effect on the players, it's not that they downed tools, Mourinho was just unable to motivate them to previous levels. Football is about fine margins and those fine margins were missing - we could have beat Leicester 3-2 - but that's life...
  23. You are grouping too many things together without giving time for them to be redressed. Jose had to fall on the sword, that much is clear However, the players that decided to not to play, will also be known and I fully expect it to be a busy summer, I believe that Guus will be in as an Interim role, this will allow him to analyse and report back to the Board. I would expect the trouble makers to be shifted on It's fine dealing in speculation - but at what point does it become a waste of time, it's like predicting an asteroid will wipe out Stamford Bridge, at some point in time it's a distinct possibility, but what's the point of focusing on it? The players now have a large responsibility to perform and I'm sure they will I'm not sure what you are expecting as an answer to your question? I don't think there is one answer, only patience and time will resolve it.
  24. I think you are confusing cause and effect Remember, every action has a consequence This isn't just something that happened in a few days, it's been building for a while. A managers role is to keep his players motivated and performing. Jose couldn't achieve this and he tried everything and it all back fired spectacularly. I think overall this season, we have witnessed as close to a live breakdown as you are ever likely to see. The blame is universally spread across Jose, Board and Players. This is not the same as AVB time. I think it is closure - it is for me.
