Aye it's truly sad i find myself frequenting this place less and less and it used to be my first port of call. The woman was publicly embarrassed for trying to do her job, she was publicly demoted and I'm sorry but that's constructive dismissal in my book. I don't care if she was the only one to fight it, that's irrelevant. Sure the media latched onto it - when don't they? But, at the end of the day if you were her, or that was your Mum, or sister being spoken to like that at work - you'd be fucking pissed off and rightly so. Sure, she might never get a job like this again, that's why she's aiming for a big compensation - if she was earning £10k year, the settlement would have been less. However, after seeing the statement that Chelsea issued - I feel she wanted a public apology, the cash was just a bonus. It seems that having principles is no longer considered a good thing - I salute her for getting an apology and compensation - a smart girl, who will clearly be missed. Good luck for the future Eva.

Sigh - for that money it was a no brainer

Actions speak louder than words ? At the minute we talk a good game - but that's about it

Way too much coverage on this thread. Ex Chelsea manager, now managing a rival team... Oh well that's life - we sacked, sorry mutually terminated. Personally, I think it's the wrong move for him - if City hadn't got Pep then yes, it would have probably worked out - but the guy is soooo fixated on Pep, it's just going to end badly, despite the fact I think he can beat Pep - the mind-games will work for 6 months then spectacularly unravel before the end of the season. That's my prediction. If he gets into the 3rd year of his contract I will be amazed and impressed - just see him overreacting about Pep and the unwanted pressure will make him blow a gasket. I guarantee a mole will appear if he hasn't won anything in the second season He did many amazing things here and I respect him for that, the last 6 months of his reign - I wasn't impressed at all, but I genuinely think something is broken inside of him now - and that's sad to see...

Exactly this - it seems people no longer understand the 'art of negotiation'

Smells like bullshit IMHO
-
It's not just him - the whole lot need a good kicking he might have had his hands tied. We just don't know what we do know is, the fucking club has been run like a bunch of monkeys fucking a football for too long, shit needs to end now and get back on track... This summer it needs to happen!

Ahh people will never believe the truth, when a conspiracy is afoot it's the human way. I tend to view things like Occam's razor - makes life much easier - injury it is for me

I'm more in shock at the fickleness of fans on this forum !!! ???? what a U-turn ???

Will the academy eventually help us dominate English football?
Muzchap replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Maybe - but he hasn't done much IMHO - maybe he needed a season to settle in Agree and exactly the same thought process, except 2 of my ' mates' (haven't seen them for over 20 years now) were offered professional contracts, (Arsenal and Preston), 1 ruined their chances with drugs, the other hated it and went to Uni instead. Now the others, including myself couldn't believe it - how could you give up that opportunity? But everyday people make bad decisions, with even more money at a young age - things have probably got even more tricky. It's a crying shame that this happens. Another friend was top 3 in Britain for Tennis, he won a scholarship to study in the US and I personally watched him thrash Tim Henman around the court, 2 years in USA - he got hooked on Coke and other drugs and came back as an addict and is now an Estate Agent. As his family is very wealthy, he says he doesn't care - but I find that hard to believe, again haven't spoken to him for over 18 years, just annoyed me that somebody with that talent could squander it so badly... i guess that was the point I was trying to make, talent alone is useless, you need the whole package and to identify of the person has that, sometimes you need to chuck them in at the deep end. I have left the names of these people out deliberately - they are probably leading happy and contented lives and would be unfair of me to name them on a forum. -
Shhh - this is my defence strategy you are ruining I mean NOBODY is stupid enough to tell the world then do it are they, what's that you say 'Temporary Insanity Plea' ??? I couldn't do it to them - instead will send legitimate annoying emails to them ???
-
I disagree - won't it end the 4th spot race - so both Manchester clubs currently miss out? ???
-
At that point - I will snap and DDOS the Chelsea site ???

That's because Simeone hasn't thrown them under the bus! Mou now is not the Mou we had first time around, the dude has lost it - and that's the biggest shame for me
-
Fuck me - this is even more remarkable than Leicester!!! The DAILY MAIL not slagging off Chelsea!!! OMG these are crazy times! i at least expected: - Costa's eye tries to break Dembeles hand - Fabregas's hand tries to injure Lamellas foot - Hazards leg tries to injure Mason just WoW - probably turn out to be a photoshop ????
-
Even after a sleep, still feels good
-
Nah, he seems like a decent bloke, first words in the interview (awful to have to do that after your dreams are shattered) were - well done Leicester and Ranieri, fans and club, they deserved it! Thats the sign of a decent bloke in my book, gracious in defeat. I would have him here in a heartbeat, he is a very good manager, I can see him at Real or Barca in a few seasons. Spurs always have players that are hot headed, little boys playing at being men ???
-
After nearly smashing up my TV in the first half, was glad I persevered ? What a comeback, what a goal by Hazard! Spurs should have lost so many players - Clattenbut! Is such a pussy- hope retrospective action is taken against Lamella hate that ugly cunt! Dier should also have walked Feel for Poch - maybe now he will realise what a bunch of pricks he's managing - no mental strength, not even little horses, just complete pony ???? well done Ranieri and Leicester, but don't get too attached to that trophy, it's heading back to SB next season!!!
-
Embarrassing - I can't watch this team at the moment - liable to smash something up
-
Indeed - great points, but I think Mou's under use of the squad for a few seasons has seen people believe you don't need a big squad... The announcement that FFP was merely a sham - should finally wake our board up, yes balancing the books is nice, but winning is what counts !!! £50m for Willian is a good deal though, I would be sad to see him leave, but if he wants to go, then we should allow it. He is the only person that can hold his head up high this season. If he stays, great I won't complain the club has a big summer coming up, what Acadamy players will be promoted to be 'squad' players, which targets Conte wants secured and what dead wood to move on... They need to get it right, because we need to hit the ground running come August!
