  1. I use this rationale - regardless of the ethnicity of the perpetrator. The colour of your skin or your religion is irrelevant - if you mean to kill innocent people to try and get your beliefs across, your beliefs are wrong. That's my view on it. I never agreed with the IRA - they blew up my cousins in Ireland, I never agreed with the Ulster Freedom Fighters, I don't agree with any terrorism. Killing in the name of a God is a hypocrisy beyond belief. Killing a person because they killed a family member I get - that's retribution plain and simple, but in the name of God? Nope! This is why I'm happy being an aethiest. I think on the last census my religion was actually Jedi ?
  2. Mate - let me start by saying, one bad apple is not representative of the whole. West Yorkshire has a very diverse culture - this was one man acting like an idiot and sadly now, all MPs will be tasked with a security detail. The moral decline in Britain is staggering - in my lifetime (nearly 40 years) - I have seen the Police armed with nothing but a truncheon, now equipped with guns - that would have been unthinkable 20 years ago. The world has become a bitter and twisted place and sadly the Internet holds a big role in it. For all the good the Internet has provided, it has sadly given a voice to people with less than sane ideas - they can be whipped into a frenzy and indulge in their craziness 24x7x365 i feel for her family However, I don't expect further action along the lines you allude too - Britain has and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure full integration of all ethnicities. The easisest thing to remember is children - they have no bias or agenda at a young age and they ignore skin colour, that's the future right there! It's only the old prejudices that hold things back - those will be eradicated soon as the surviving prejudice holders die out.
  3. I like him and would take him in a heartbeat Good engine, great crossing, great tackling and positioning what an upgrade over Ivanovic ?
  4. What happened didn't see it? Edit found it https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/09/venezuela-uruguay-copa-america-quarter-finals
  5. Seriously? He would play for the dude that subbed him on, then off again minutes later... Yeah - I wish I worked at the Sun - what do they have? A wheel of news - spin for club, spin for player, create rumour... Just a joke - it's worse than this Brexit shit
  6. such a waste - Scottish Rooney they said! Hmm maybe he was driving his car to an old peoples home? ???
  7. Dude - I'm sorry but Murinho threw the first metaphorical punch. Sometimes in life you reap what you sow... Mou caused this and he could have defused it - but his ego got the better of him, that's the biggest problem with Mou - he now believes he's never wrong
  8. Yup, why be pessimistic - give the lad a chance
  9. Aye it's truly sad i find myself frequenting this place less and less and it used to be my first port of call. The woman was publicly embarrassed for trying to do her job, she was publicly demoted and I'm sorry but that's constructive dismissal in my book. I don't care if she was the only one to fight it, that's irrelevant. Sure the media latched onto it - when don't they? But, at the end of the day if you were her, or that was your Mum, or sister being spoken to like that at work - you'd be fucking pissed off and rightly so. Sure, she might never get a job like this again, that's why she's aiming for a big compensation - if she was earning £10k year, the settlement would have been less. However, after seeing the statement that Chelsea issued - I feel she wanted a public apology, the cash was just a bonus. It seems that having principles is no longer considered a good thing - I salute her for getting an apology and compensation - a smart girl, who will clearly be missed. Good luck for the future Eva.
  10. Sigh - for that money it was a no brainer
  11. Yeah nearly as real as those ITK tweets ??? no offence - but it's bollox IMHO ooh just noticed you're like 10 mins away from me in Peterborough good ole Huntingdon
  12. Actions speak louder than words ? At the minute we talk a good game - but that's about it
  13. Way too much coverage on this thread. Ex Chelsea manager, now managing a rival team... Oh well that's life - we sacked, sorry mutually terminated. Personally, I think it's the wrong move for him - if City hadn't got Pep then yes, it would have probably worked out - but the guy is soooo fixated on Pep, it's just going to end badly, despite the fact I think he can beat Pep - the mind-games will work for 6 months then spectacularly unravel before the end of the season. That's my prediction. If he gets into the 3rd year of his contract I will be amazed and impressed - just see him overreacting about Pep and the unwanted pressure will make him blow a gasket. I guarantee a mole will appear if he hasn't won anything in the second season He did many amazing things here and I respect him for that, the last 6 months of his reign - I wasn't impressed at all, but I genuinely think something is broken inside of him now - and that's sad to see...
  14. Exactly this - it seems people no longer understand the 'art of negotiation'
  15. Rooney lives for Greggs ????
  16. That's ok he can be called Cunty McFuckface at Utd - will fit right in ???
  17. Lol he was like Bambi on ice tho - every time I looked for him, he was on the floor ???
  18. It's not just him - the whole lot need a good kicking he might have had his hands tied. We just don't know what we do know is, the fucking club has been run like a bunch of monkeys fucking a football for too long, shit needs to end now and get back on track... This summer it needs to happen!
  19. Ahh people will never believe the truth, when a conspiracy is afoot it's the human way. I tend to view things like Occam's razor - makes life much easier - injury it is for me
  20. I'm more in shock at the fickleness of fans on this forum !!! ???? what a U-turn ???
  21. Maybe - but he hasn't done much IMHO - maybe he needed a season to settle in Agree and exactly the same thought process, except 2 of my ' mates' (haven't seen them for over 20 years now) were offered professional contracts, (Arsenal and Preston), 1 ruined their chances with drugs, the other hated it and went to Uni instead. Now the others, including myself couldn't believe it - how could you give up that opportunity? But everyday people make bad decisions, with even more money at a young age - things have probably got even more tricky. It's a crying shame that this happens. Another friend was top 3 in Britain for Tennis, he won a scholarship to study in the US and I personally watched him thrash Tim Henman around the court, 2 years in USA - he got hooked on Coke and other drugs and came back as an addict and is now an Estate Agent. As his family is very wealthy, he says he doesn't care - but I find that hard to believe, again haven't spoken to him for over 18 years, just annoyed me that somebody with that talent could squander it so badly... i guess that was the point I was trying to make, talent alone is useless, you need the whole package and to identify of the person has that, sometimes you need to chuck them in at the deep end. I have left the names of these people out deliberately - they are probably leading happy and contented lives and would be unfair of me to name them on a forum.
  22. Shhh - this is my defence strategy you are ruining I mean NOBODY is stupid enough to tell the world then do it are they, what's that you say 'Temporary Insanity Plea' ??? I couldn't do it to them - instead will send legitimate annoying emails to them ???
  23. I disagree - won't it end the 4th spot race - so both Manchester clubs currently miss out? ???
