I know. Ribery is a 15 goals, 20 assists player. Fantastic for every team to have. Hazard should have had more assists than he's had now. Against stoke, mancity and westham alone he created 3 clear goal chances per match.
But he's not shooting, enough in my opinion. His shooting is at about 1.5-2 shots per game which is low for his quality on the ball.
Matches like against westham where even lampard is missing clear cut chances, we need him to take the mantle and bail us out sometimes.
If he shoots more, he'll get better at it, and I'm sure he'll surpass ribery's level quicker than we expect. This is what he needs to do to step up.
Probably if hazard gets 25goals, 20assists every season, that is world class level above ribery and that's where I want him to be at.

Just ignore the attention seeking twat. He only has to look at Ozil in his team to know an overrated, weakling player. Hazard is better than all the players in his team.

His balance is one of the strongest parts of his game. The mix of balance, agility, pace, acceleration, technique, dribbling, flair, creativity etc. is just incredible.

He has played some great games for Chelsea, but this was no doubt my favourite - factoring in importance, and level of opposition.
I honestly didn't expect him to play so well because while Zabaleta is a cunt, he's a top defender, who is hard to get past.
But Eden made him look silly, even in the air, and he kept popping up everywhere to affect the game. Magical stuff.

Indeed, it will do him good, the more important they make him the better he plays.

You know the funny thing is Hazard scored as many goals in the league this season already as he did all of last season. So, dont think hazard is suffering too much from it.

How funny was it when he just took the piss out of Huddlestone at one point? He just toyed with him and then ran around him as if he wasn't there. Huddlestone was still turning when Hazard was 5 yards beyond him crossing the ball.

Now in all seriousness, he's been amazing for us as we all knew he'd be and some more. It's a giant pleasure to watch this guy playing. The way he glues the ball on his feet and gets rid of so many markers is nothing short of brilliant and genial.
the sky is the limit for Eden and he's improving seriously our chances of winning EPL. The way we've been solid defensively and he's winning us match when we can't find other solutions is a big deal. that's what you expect from the team's star and he keeps delivering, all with a great deal of work-rate as well.

Those ratings mean nothing tbh. Proof of that is that Torres is the second best in the team with a 7.3 rating (http://www.whoscored.com/Teams/15/Show/England-Chelsea - at the bottom of the page) which isn't part of this chart because that's considering UCL too. If someone tells me that Torres has had a better season than Oscar, Terry, Iva and Ramires all I have to do is laugh on their face.
It doesn't mean recently Eden hasn't been our best player and given how Oscar is back on form, I think it's fair to say the two of them are the best players for us this season, although I have a hard time deciding who's been better all matches considered. Oscar has been regularly one of the best players for most of the season having only a few matches after his injury in bad form, while Eden took some time to peak. I think Eden will surpass Oscar at some point, I'm just not sure if that already happened - which at the end doesn't really matter. I really want them to have the form of their lives in the following months and I couldn't care less (or couldn't it be any less irrelevant) which one ends up being the best of the season if both of them just play amazingly.

Disagree with your first sentence. There are players that are simply invaluable to their club.
Get the feeling that your underestimating Hazard's importance to our team and his potential.
You act like Hazard is your run of the mill top talent and that we can just pick up a new one at K-mart.
He's one of the rare talents that can singlehandedly win games for you.

I actually do and you clearly don't. Looking at the stats, I say he does. Looking at what he did for the team, I say he does. Based on the first period in which he ripped - then an inconsistent patch - and after february where he was pretty much our best player, he does.

What's hard to get about Hazard being more important to us than PSG would offer in a transfer fee? Bale wasn't worth 85m but he was to Tottenham, they held out and got the fee that they were willing to accept. You think Madrid valued him at 85m? Of course not. Tottenham set the price, the same way Utd set Ronaldo's price.
You're talking about selling him now because there's no guarantee he'll fulfil his potential. Why not, err, you know, actually give him a chance to fulfil said potential?

I remember when we won back to back title's under Jose first time and comfortably, it was amazing but i always knew in the back to my mind that United had the young pair Rooney and Ronaldo and it was only a matter of time before they fully exploded and because of that United started challenging us hard for titles, it actually started in the second half of 05/06, but luckily we were well away at the top by then that season.
Now with Hazard and Oscar we have exactly the same luxury.

I really hope not. "Eddie"doesn't suit him and I can't think of Hazard when I see that name. Ppl should just call him Hazard, if someone has a name as badass as Hazard, one should surely call him that name.

Are you making these claims based on a few preseason games?

I remember pre-season 2007/08. Ronaldo was exactly the same kind of player. Got passed players, but his execution was off.
Several months later, he ended the season with 40+ goals, a Premier League title and A European Cup.
All he needs to do is work on certain aspects and have confidence, which I am sure Mourinho is trying to instill.
