  1. the year we finished 6th was when we won the CL, and no we didnt play good football that year. I didnt enjoy getting battered 4-1 at Anfield or 5-3 against Arsenal at stamford Bridge, or 3-1 to Aston Fucking Villa at stamford bridge, or being embarrassed by Papis fucking Cisse at Stamford Bridge! Most of my favourite ever games have been under Mourinho, Beating Barca 4-2 in 2005, Beating Man U 3-1 at Old Trafford in 2005 after they gave us a gaurd of honour, beating Bolton 2-0 to win the League in 2005, beating Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield in 2005, beating Arsenal 2-0 at Highbury in 2005, beating West ham 4-1 in 2006, Beating Man U 3-0 in 2006, beating Arsenal 6-0 in 2014, beating Man U 3-1 in 2014 and winning 2-0 at Anfield in 2014 the list goes on. So if you prefer us finishing 6th playing the odd good game and getting embarrassed most of the time then thats up to you, you may not have good memories from Jose's time here, but most Chelsea fans do, our PL campaign in 2011/12 was simply horrendous if you enjoyed it then good for you.
  2. cant see us starting with RLC and Cesc in a 2 man midfield
  3. So based on the reports how are we lining up? Begovic Azpilicueta - Cahill - Zouma - Baba Mikel Loftus-Cheek - Fabregas Oscar - Hazard Remy
  4. it matters a lot! JT can't play how he used to, he would get exposed 1 on 1 that's why he has needed Azpi to tuck in alongside him, Terry has always been slow, but now he is not only slow but much less mobile, and when Baba gets forward Matic will have to cover him, so won't be able to help JT also.
  5. this season is not the same as last season, last season we defended well and was able to grind out wins. it made no sense at all last season to try and get the team playing better football when they were winning games in the title run in, no one could have predicted that suddenly for the first 5 games of this season we would lose all our ability to defend.
  6. no its not! they were not seen as problems last season as we were getting results and heading for the PL title! you make no sense, in the title run in its all about getting 3 points each game you play, performances don't matter as long as you win, Mourinho would have been focused on guiding us to the PL title, not trying to get the players to play better even though we were winning. so your point makes no sense to me.
  7. The performances in the 2nd half of last season were clearly not a cause of concern as we were grinding out results, so I doubt he would have felt the need to address it then as we were winning games, and on track for the PL title. This season is a different story as we are not even getting results, so you can guarantee Mourinho, who hates losing more then anyone, will be trying to address the problem.
  8. if you think a manager like Mourinho doesn't acknowledge bad performances then it shows how deluded you are, just because he doesn't come out and talk about the bad performances doesn't mean he doesn't address it with the team and his coaching staff.
  9. Love that press conference from José! he came out fighting! now hopefully the players will do the same! José seems like he is well up for the battle this season!
  10. so basically if you was manager you would play a team that would very likely get beat. Well done.
  11. so I take it you never watched Hazard play last season then?
  12. I think Pedro will know things will get much better during his time at Chelsea.
  13. I feel if Baba plays then Terry will have to be dropped, Baba is an attacking fullback, he likes to get forward and will leave JT exposed, Azpi has done a great job protecting Terry, but I feel if we move Azpi to RB then JT will either have to move to RCB or be dropped, as he could become a liability who teams look to target
  14. People on here have such short memories
  15. awful comparison, Hernández is a goal poacher, he is a different type of player to Costa, and you just ignore the fact that Costa didn't even play as a striker in 2012/13, and Costa still outscored the goal poacher Hernández, that season. Now that speaks volumes. Also last season Costa completed more passes then Suarez and Lewandowski, he made more key passes then Aguero, Benzema and Lewandowski and created more chances then Aguero and Lewandowski all while playing less games. But yeah Costa's link up play is non existent right?
  16. No I am not talking about just what trophies he won, but how key he was to his teams success. Like in 2012/13 he didn't even play as a striker, he played on the wing or behind Falcao, he still scored 20 goals and got 8 assists that season, guiding Atletico to the Copa Del Rey, scoring in every round including the final against Real Madrid. And then in 2013/14 scoring 36 goals, with 27 coming in La Liga (1 less then Messi) en route to winning the La Liga title, an incredible achievement for them, as well as getting to the CL final where Costa scored 8 goals and probably would have won it had he been fully fit for the final, then he moves to a new league settles immediately, scores for fun en route to the PL title, as well as scoring at Wembley in the League Cup final. Not bad for such an awful/limited striker. So how on earth you are comparing a player who has done all that to Cahill because he was simply part of a successful team is bizarre really.
  17. what has Gary Cahill winning trophies with Chelsea got to do with anything? that has no relevance to how well the 'limited' Diego Costa has performed in the last 3 seasons.
  18. Begovic Azpilicueta - Cahill - Zouma - Baba RLC - Matic Pedro - Fabregas © - Hazard Costa I personally feel if we move Azpi to RB and play Baba at LB then JT will have to be dropped, Azpi has done a great job protecting JT, now if we have Baba who likes to get forward a lot he will leave JT at risk of getting exposed, and all of a sudden we will start conceding goals from our left side.
  19. If Costa is as bad as you make him out to be what he has achieved in the last 3 seasons is absolutely mind blowing then! a player who apparently can't pass, can't hold up the ball, can't dribble, has a bad touch, always falls over, and yet virtually every striker on the planet other then maybe Suarez would dream of achieving what Costa has in the last 3 seasons. for a player so apparently limited he isn't doing to bad for himself. I wish more of our players were as limited as Costa, maybe they would have done as well as he has over the last 3 seasons.
  20. so you haven't watched him for very long then, just as I thought. I already know you are a fickle fan, you only rate players highly when they are in form, so I take your opinion with a pinch of salt. I have seen enough of Costa to see that he is very good on the ball, and links play well, right now he isn't in top form like most of our players, I am not fickle enough to use yesterdays game as the basis of my argument like yourself, as for playing with Spain, have you even watched him for Spain? he drops off all the time with them and links play very well, they give Costa the ball a lot when he drops off with his back to goal because they trust him, they know he has a good touch and can pass the ball, very different from when Torres played for Spain because they never passed to him when he wanted the ball with his back to goal.
