Very true. I have noticed that about a lot of people on here, when a player is in form they think he is amazing, as soon as he is in bad form they think he is awful. Very fickle.

Very true, the fact we have been moving the ball much slower since January and not giving him the ball early must be very frustrating. First half of last season we were so good to watch, much more quicker passing and fluidity in attack.

Last season Costa completed more passes then Suarez and LewandowskiCosta made more key passes then Aguero, Benzema and LewandowskiCosta created more chances then Aguero and LewandowskiAll while playing less minutes also. So yeah just shows how 'non-existent' Costa's link up play is right?

Costa is actually good technically, hence why he has played on the wing and as a number 10 in the past, and done very well there. He is deceptively good with the ball at his feet and linking play, shame people don't watch him often enough.

Costa scored more headers and won more Ariel duals then Aguero, Suarez and Benzema last season while playing less games, he really isn't on their level is he? very limited indeed.

Last 3 seasons Costa - 77 goals in 133 games Suarez - 86 goals in 124 games Aguero - 77 goals in 116 games Benzema - 66 goals in 148 games but yeah I'm the crazy one Costa clearly isn't on their level. I also forgot to mention that in 1 of Costa's last 3 seasons he didn't even play as a striker, he played on the wing or behind Falcao in 2012/13, which makes Costa's goal return look even more impressive, especially when you compare it with Benzema who I have seen a few people say is better then Costa, Benzema has played more and scored 10 less and then you factor in Costa only played as a striker in 2 of his last 3 seasons, you do the maths. and then factor in what Costa has achieved in the last 3 seasons (guiding Atletico to the Copa del rey, scoring past Real in the final, guides Atleti to the La Liga title, which shouldn't be underestimated just how big an achievement that was, then guiding Atletico to the CL final, scoring 8 goals along the way, and probably would have won it had he not been injured, then moves to another country, in another league where he can't even speak English, settles immediately and scores for fun en route to the PL title, not to mention scoring at Wembley in the League Cup Final also.) but yeah Costa clearly isn't on their level. The fact no one seems to be able to give any reasons why Costa isn't one of the very best in World football speaks volumes.

Griezmann, Higuain, Aboubakar, Mandzukic, Aubameyang and Bacca. if you read what I said I said that Jordan Henderson got 9 assists 4 more then Coutinho while playing with Balotelli and the rest of the truly dreadful Liverpool players like you make them out to be. If Henderson can get 9 assists while playing with players like Balotelli and Lambert why can't Coutinho? I have already said I think Coutinho, is a good player just not on Oscar's level. you think Coutinho is a superstar in the making then fine that's your opinion, but fact is he has not shown anywhere near enough quality consistently to suggest he will ever become a superstar and play for a top club, Robinho in his early days at Real Madrid showed more quality then Coutinho has and look how he turned out. Coutinho has to do a lot more and needs to make massive improvements to ever get a move to a big club.

i am also very positive, i think Falcao could start this as he didnt go on international duty and scored in his last game for us so Jose may start him, if he does and it becomes an open game then that would be perfect for Falcao to score again.

Benzema - good all round ability - yes so has Costa got good all round ability, difference is Costa is a better finisher and leads the line better Lewandowski - clinical finisher? - lets see who is more clinical last season Costa - 20 goals in 26 games Lewandowski - 17 goals in 31 games in a weaker league Costa scored his 20 goals from 76 shots with 64% shot accuracy Lewandowski scored his 17 goals from 105 shots with 53% shot accuracy in a weaker league So if Lewandowski is clinical what is Costa? as i asked before and no one could answer, how many strikers can you name who has had a better last 2 seasons then Costa?
