  1. It looked like he lost all his antics and drama today. Good to know the boys didn´t lost the faith in their abilities to win games and to turn down opponents tugh defences.
  2. Oh boy, that will be intense around the world. All the Millwall loonies (like a friend of mine) will be very close to smash anything up...
  3. haha yeah of course. the steamrollin´ Essien will cruise through any fuckin team in the world ! love him.
  4. love the bit about his mummy doing food for him and he feels like being able to play two games a day
  5. Don´t know if anybody realises it or if it´s just only me, but Carlo always seemed to be very relieved when pulling out a very crucial save. Of course any goalie is, but he was lying on the grass some seconds after denying a goal. Just an amazing goalkeeper. Should´ve kept him, i think he is better than Gomes.
  6. At first i was a bit unsure about the M.M. deals, but if he signs a new four year deal before going to club on loan and playing regular first team football in the Premier League - why not ? It is true, with Carvalho, Alex and Ivano we have the exact picking order. Mancienne will come back stronger i think and then will replace one of them defenders i mentionend.
  7. One of my favourite games in Europe is the 3:2 against Pool at the Bridge. I went on my knees and cried cause finally we made it into the Cl Final. For me, it had everything a good match needs. Of course, that 4:2 against Barca was just something else. But winning against Liverpool in that kinda way. Fantastic. I´ll never forget that Penalty by Lamps.
  8. Chelsea United Liverpool Everton Arsenal
  9. What a tragedy that is. Only 26 years old So sad. Rest In Peace, Dani
  10. It is true that we have to sort the future of our attacking positions out, but i think we shouldn´t go for players like Pato and Aguero so much if they aren´t interessted in playing for Chelsea. More singins like Youri and Sturridge would do good. I really enjoyed the times when we were linked to every top player in the world but the guarentee that signings like Pato and Kun really pay off isn´t given... As instead of buying young players, or players who are really ambitious like Zhirkov to play champions league with the Chels´ is more of a better investment. Don´t get me wrong, I rate Pato and Aguero very highly, and would be amused to see them trashing the likes of United, but if it is so hard to get to these names... i just don´t know...
  11. haha even C_Ron realized that he was over the top there...
  12. IF we go for any other strikers, we have to get rid of Pizarro and sadly Sheva. It is a bummer that Joey is injured so that Ancelotti couldn´t get a good look at his abilities. That means that we maybe go for another winger/striker even though we might have the perfect solution already - just injured. I think we don´t Pato or Aguero, we just need a full fit Super Joey Cole, but yeah.... it is a vicious circle. Our squad is brilliant as it is. With DiSanto on loan to a top flight club, i think we look at another top striker prospect.
  13. Haha i remember that scene. I just couldn´t stop laughing. What was he expecting there ? What a prick.
  14. Very good news. He is a legend ! I love him and his way to wear his heart on his tongue. As many problems he might have caused, i don´t care. Just go on and destroy Liverpool and Arsenal on your own, and start to score against United on a regular basis.
  15. I think Zhirkov, JC and Essien are good ballholders and have decent passing skills ...and yes, Aguero seems to be the missing link, although i think our attackers look real good at the moment...
  16. I think is doing really good when called in the first team. This handful of games he had under Scolari were nearly perfect matches by him. Really nice lad ...
  17. Thanks, BL. I think there is still a good amount of years left for him to win things. If he is playing in his position look what he is capable of - United 07/08 game at the Bridge, and all the other teams he destroyed nearly on his own. And he is a good penaltytaker
  18. Which is no reason he cannot be a supporter is it ? I for example cannot afford any tickets and by the way i don´t live in England so a trip to a match would be like holidays for me. And something else: People are able to like football but deciding not going to the matches. TX, i really enjoyed your postings in the first time. They were a bit more down to earth, but i think it is time for you to realise that not everybody can deal with this negativ comments all the time, especially on a Chelsea board, and not a Spurs forum... Even if somebody jumped on the bandwagon when we became more succesfull, whats wrong with it ? Do these people have no right to support the club because they are simply to young being around since Osgood or so ?
  19. This telly-screen is just... freaky. Nothing less. Would you watch the game on the pitch or on the screen ? I don´t really know.
  20. The difference to last season is that we did some signings to strengthen our attacking in depth With Sturridge,Anelka,Drogba,Malouda,Zhirkov,Joe Cole, DiSanto and possibly Kalou and Sinclar we´ll have a good range of diverse attacking players, with the option of Deco and Lamps as supporting central offensive midfielders... Something we lacked last season was a strong attacking range with playing Anelka upfront only. I am not getting overexcited over the pre-season and i will hold my breath, but there is one thing i cannot deny: we have a good and strong team.
