  1. i think that was well played by United. It is extremely difficult to mark your player in that siuation. Given what happened before everytime a United player was in the Chelsea box.
  2. What a game by Cahill. Coming in for the skipper and performing like that in such an intense and nervewrecking atmosphere ? Looks like we stroke a good deal on him i think. That last shot by him was just what needed - a breath of freshness and braveness. Him and Luiz were very good together i think. I am acutally very proud of the lads given the circumstances (Webb, 5 first teamers out)
  3. Nearly got into a fight wit a United fan who called me a Cunt out of nowhere in the pub. What a game that was. Howard Webb outdid himself in this one. I still can´t believe how lucky they were. That second pen was just a joke. Brilliant display by the lads. After 15 shakey minutes in the beginnig really started to play some good football. Can´t do much about it when the ref is determined to get a "thrilling game" out of this. Absolute joke. I feel for AVB as he will get a lot of flack for this game although we did everything right. Taking Studge off for a defensive player is a gamble, didn´t paid off in the end but it was an understandable thing to do. fuck all this, i am pissed off about Webb, Welbeck, Furgie and all.
  4. A matter of time before the post - Revolution trouble would find ways into such an unbelieveable and disturbing way. The revolution in Egypt couldn´t install a new powerfull regime as it couldn´t behead the army-generals. Shocking to see. The Arab Spring is becoming an Arabic WInter as it looks. (Not even talking about Syria. Thounsands beeing killed there and Russia/China having a veto against some counter mesaurements. It is so tragic.) The people there got rid of the old dictatoric regimes and what do they get ? New ones. Always happens after a revoltion, sadly. One regime takes over from the other as power organises itself. It just so unbelieveable stone cold as the army seems to be the Agents Provocateure in this case. I hope that the people in Egypt will be able to hold them accountable for what they´ve done to them.
  5. Could do with Rami and Ash. Although Ash seems to have a few problems with Valencia. Ramires out is huge loss for us in this game. His drive and pace would give their midfield and defense a little bit of work to do. So we have to rely on Mata do work wonders - again.
  6. Well, if they have the evidence they claim to have it is fair. The whole affair is just said in general.
  7. I mean in an ideal case the affair would´ve been over before the Euros, but these things take time. Can´t blame the FA for stripping him off the captaincy to be honest. The England team can´t travel to the tournament with an alleged racist as a skipper. They couldn´t wait until the court case would´ve been over. For various reasons: team spirit, image, integritiy. IF JT was just the sportsman off the pitch as he is on the pitch. His carreer as a brilliant centre half will be overshadowed by all these affairs and stupid mistakes. As a player he is amazing and a rock in the defense, but supporting him as a person just gets harder and harder. If he is found guilty of saying the stuff he said, i won´t wear the shirt with his name on anymore. The "Captain, Leader, Legend" thing is fine, for the game itself. But other than that, it´s just redicolous to say that he needs support or something. Obviously the old "innocent until proven guilty" thinking works for the average man, but not for public person like Terry is. And by that I don´t mean that he gets treated differently, but with his position comes a whole other set of responsibilities, that can´t be overlooked by an institution like the FA.
  8. Point earned against a very confident team. Would´ve liked to see Cahill starting for us, but heyho. Tough game that was.
  9. Good deal this. Would be stupid to get him into the sqaud straight away. He will get more game time at Genk and comes to us next season and then AVB can look into things. I wouldn´t mind if he gets to play somewhere else. AVB needs to avoid another Lukaku situation.
  10. ah is it this time of the year/season again ? I expect box to box stuff and breathless grasping for the half full pint. As both teams are not on top of their game right now I honestly don´t know how this might finish. I think we´ve got a realistic chance to win this.
  11. me too, mate. have to admit that i´ve got a bit of ungood feeling about this match. possably because of our last game at Loftus Road Home of Football Best Stadium In the World.
  12. Afterall it is a very sad story about such an amazing talent. I genuinly feel for Torres. He came in, with high hopes for himself, the fans had high hopes. Leaving all the technical details aside for one moment, it is just pure sadness looking at Nando and thinking what he once did to defenders, nah, whole teams. I so hope that he can find his form. He bloody has to.
  13. Well, everynow and then Arteta and Song are decent for them as well. Have to give´em that. Especially Artetas abscence is costing them.
  14. Can´t see them losing to be honest. Manc United - Arsenal: scoring draw City - Spurs: clinched win by long balls into the box. SuperSunday tomorrow in on word: superscruffy
  15. Dissapointing. Depressing to watch. Luiz had a really good game. If he keeps playing like that, it will be hard for Cahill to partner Terry in the back four. Mereiles shots from distance are just dreadful to watch. Out of 4 he got one on target i think. This shoting from distance thing has to stop. No threat from setpieces as well. Have to admit that Norwich played good defensively but were just as uninspiring going forward like our boys. Game to forget.
  16. yes mate, was on the phone with my best friend the whole evening, also a supporter of the Chels´, and we were over the moon when they announced the Torres deal. Well, we know how it did unfold from there and that the signing with the bigger instant impact was in fact Luiz. But none the less, dead amazing January 31. Don´t need another one. Please not a a similiar situation with Modric or someone like that. Just a normal quiet night watching other teams paying to much money for footballers. For once.
  17. Hope we relegate them in April and dump them out of the cup. Bit weird seeing Mark "I am too big for Fulham (oh wait, not gonna take over at Old Trafford in the next 25 years, so I take the QPR Job)" Hughes in the dugout at "Loftus Road". Looks like they are off to challenge for the title as every Hughes team did for the last years. Don´t really need another intense game in the season, just a distraction on the way to bigger success. But as QPR fans seem to enjoy Chlesea losses more than QPR wins we might give them a good run out for their money and for the sake of their sad supporter souls let them survive in the Premier Leauge.
  18. cesc4official Cesc Fàbregas Soler Very happy to see Essien back on the field again. Good player.
  19. I see your point Dave. Maybe it´s just me considering no London club big enough for a rivalry (when i became a Chelsea fan it was a bit like that) and taking on ManUnited instead. Do Fulham fans hate us ?
  20. I went out last night with my five a sides-team and one of my mates from that team is a massive QPR fan. After the recent FA Cup draw he was the first one to give me some hilarious comments about how they gonna beat us again although they failed to win a Cup game in 11 years. Anyway last night this guy sort of tried to convince me that there is a massive rival in west London between Chelsea and QPR. As I am not from London and doesn´t have that expirience of being a Chelsea supporter in England, can some of you describe what they think about all this ? Also i´ve read a lot of comments that Sky should stop making them our rivals ? I for one think that our biggest rivals in the EPL are ManUnited. In London probably Arsenal. So let´s get this straight before the eventual cup game against Hughes title challengers.
  21. Mata needs a rest. He seems to be out of ideas and looks a bit tired.
  22. Good result against a very good organised Sunderland team. They play some good football under O´Neill, which isn´t surprising at all. Great manager. But good performance by us as well. We knew it would be tough to play Sunderland now and it was, but we won. Great to see Essien back. He´s got some air about him. Just sends out a vibe of calmness and organisation. He may have the chance to go forward now the Raul and Romeu sitting a bit deeper.
  23. city has to sell before they´re buying. at least that´s what i´ve heard.
  24. i think i saw Rami going down quite often these days. About the high-defending again: the style wasn´t the problem, i think the lads are just looking to bench all the time checking if they are doing it right and think all the time that they caught the eye of Eva and got caught out. AVB: sort this out.
  25. they seem to be more obessive about the derby then we are. i never gave a shit about them up until the last game. once we trashed them i´ll put this matter to bed for me.
