I admit it, Ivanovic is shocking. Good that we signed Cesar to put him under pressure. First time in my life I am actually tempted to switch off.
-
goodness me, what a player. can´t argue with that.
-
DON`T even joke about that !
-
Spurs will have to play five a sides soon if he decemits the squad like this.

Top signing for Fulham. Would´ve never fitted in our system, too slow, too lazy for a target man tactic. He is an amazing finisher and his sense for positioning is phenominal though. It is amazing how all the "smaller clubs" all of a sudden turn into these decent sides, at least on paper. No easy places left to in the Premier League, with Bolton and Blackburn gone.

Is that real ? If so, what a shower of cunts.

Muscle to be stitched, that sounds fucking aweful. Urgh... Ahhh the Capital One Cup the new Carling Cup. Someone should´ve told me.

AVB doing a great job so far as mole at Spurs. Making them sing Willian and Lloris and possibly Dembele.

'There's something missing,' says Arsène Wenger after Arsenal misfire Ummmm, who could that be ?

Finally that saga is over. We got the better in Oscar anyway Can this be closed now

Definitly an integral figure to the team. Otherwise I couldn´t explain why he is still here. He won everything in club football, played a lot of football, gets on with it professional carreer. I think he made himself irreplacable and I would be happy to keep it that way. We have strong connections with Portogual clubs and Brazilian players of the years, so I think someone like him is actually really handy for a club where there has been hardley any stability in management. Together with Peter, Frank, JT and Ash he´s been probably one of the key figures to keep the basic things going in the team when there wasn´t plain sailing at times.

There is nothing Chelsea can do to influence the title race and the face of the Premier League except for winning as much games as possible and trying to collect enough points to win the league/stay competative for the next seasons. City´s clearly not dominating on a scale that people had predicted. They haven´t had a major signing yet, due to our Champions League success, in fact, it is Chelsea dominating the transfers this season - again. History is not repeating itself. Patterns and traditional lines are there to point out, but only in hindsight and on the bigger picture to then trying to prove - history is repeating itself. City are nowhere near to dominate the Premier League as they did last season. Everyone should relax a bit, enjoy our team being in a very good position, being the current Champions of Europe, having signed 5 amazing prospects/stars. I don´t understand the negativity on here. Are people actually enjoying being a football supporter or is supporting a team one only does for the sake of an arguement ?

Even though I don´t like him as he has a very dirty side to his game, he´s their best player. Runs the game and iniates everything.

My god, Arsenal are pathetic.
-
what a frustrating game to watch. good for us though if it stays like this.
-
I was just going to say, Arsenals build-ups are really nice and very patient, but in the final third they are just so frustrating to watch.Last season with Van Persie they were frustrating at times but had at least some cutting edge, now they even lack even that little bit of urgency that they´ve had last season.

Wonder what Lille are going to do with all that dosh from the Hazard deal. To be fair, they´ve signed an adiquate replacement in Kalou. They surely can´t have financial trouble after the Eden deal.

Neil Armstrong First man on the moon dies.
diskoviolente replied to Duppy Conqueror's topic in General Chat
What a legend. Rest in Peace. Incredible to think that just a good 40 years later humankind reached Mars. No story goes without a tragic part. Buzz Aldrins story is the sad part in the whole moon race. He never wanted to get out first, because he was afraid of all the attention and the fame. His mother just killed herself shortly before they landed. He never really got going afterwards, suffered from alcoholism, was jobless for a long time. He is still considered as the most famous "Nr. 2". -
Today Arsenal has to prove if they actually gonna change something or if the same attacking-minded failure is going to be this season´s theme once again. They always, always, always struggle against Stoke. Last year Van Persie made all the difference. I am very curious how Corzola and Giroud do there.

His movement is just class. The way he drags the defenders out wide and then just loses them with his pace.Incredible. There is another big improvement since Hazard. I think we haven´t seen the best of Mata yet. It seems to me that Hazard-Mata-Torres unlocks all the potential of all three of them. Mata was amazing last season on his own, but with Hazard-Torres he´s even better. The link-up play, the movemet, the understanding of each others game, fantastic. I think I haven´t seen something like this at our club since Robben-Drogba/Eidur-Duff ( I know that was a different system, but you get the idea).

It seems to me that he can do whatever he want. Some people comment on him like they don´t want him to do good. I think that everyone at the games is supporting and cheering for him. Why are the keyboard warriors ripping him to shreds after every game if he didn´t score 2 goals and bags 3 assists and blame him on the hefty price tag. He doesn´t owe us anything. He didn´t put up "I am worth 50 million quid". It was Chelsea who got ripped off by Liverpool trying to sign their hero away from them. He gives everything for the team. If it is not happening for him it is bad enough because it´s not happening for the team playing then as well. So instead of making all this worse by creating this hype talk around like "he is shit, he owes us, he is the biggest flop in the history of mankind (drama-ridden overexegartion at it´s best. what does it even mean ? as if the humankind would care if a player is a flop)" we should support him even though it is strange to do that behind the computer/tv. At least try to be reasonable on a messageboard. But I guess I am just oldschool asking for patience or reason.

I thought Saints might pick up some points today against Wigan. Really fancy them for staying up. They´ve got tough games next on though, Arsenal and Mancs if I am not mistaken. Hope they can find some form soon.
-
The loss of Joe Allen doesn´t seem to be a big one.
-
Swansea lost some of their key players from last season and still Laudrup has them playing even better football. Impressive. Hope they can keep it up over the length of a season. Always refreshing watching a team with a positive attitude.

Nothing but respect for the man after reading this article. My goodness, the horror which people have seen and still keep on going. I am delighted that we´ve signed him. He´s very strong and happy to drift out wide and hugging the touchline. Something we haven´t had in ages and what we need so desperatly. If called upon, he´d play as a striker as well. I remember last season Wigan lost to United with a man down and he was playing centre forward alone upfront and still troubled the shit out of United.
