They're not bigger than the club I'm afraid. We need to have replacements in place ready and in Lampard's case it most certainly will not be easy.

We can potentially play 67 games this year. Also I never suggested that a high number of games would influence the rotation. It's the fact that we need to ease some players out of our team. Lampard, Terry, Cole, don't get me wrong they all need to play a huge part this year, but we can't keep relying on them with no back up. We have back up for Terry and Cole now, but we need to think about easing Lampard out of the team mostly to make it easier for the future, when he does actually retire/leave.

Very hard to accommodate all players, so rotation will take a huge part this year. My logic behind leaving Lampard out is that he is ageing and will need to gradually be eased out of the team.
