There is no doubt in my mind that Ancelotti's time has expired at the bridge. The diamond is useless and the players look like they have nothing to play for. He is refusing to buy players during the transfer window and is doesn't know dick about substitution's. Another Scolari on our hands... Our team vs Fulham Ivanovic Alex Terry Cole Ballack (Out of form) Lampard (Piss weak form) Zhirkov ( Can't last 30 mins out there) Joe Cole ( piss weak form) Sturridge ( Couldn't find the goal if it was a kilometre wide) and Borini.. Fulham 3 - Chelsea1

What a waste! Out played last week by Pompey at the bridge now outclassed by West Ham! I can't believe how our domination on the pitch has changed since the last 4 seasons. I can honestly say that we didn't have not one single good chance on goal. Sturridge's penalty was bullshit and if Cech would not have been in the right place at the right time, our boys would be leaving Upton Park with their million dollar tales tucked nicely between their legs and Guus Hiddink would probably be getting another SOS call. Not good enough!

Can't see us winning the title this year. An that's not because I am pissed off about tonight. I am watching the Man U game at the moment and i can honestly say that that play such a quick, sharp game of football. We look like shit. Even with precious seconds to go our players were still holding the ball at their feet and wasting time. With Essien out, Drogba (who i believe is doing way more than he should be) Mikel and Kalou gone to the ACN we don't stand a chance of keeping up with Man U who are killing it without 7 regular players. At the start of the season we had so much depth but i seems as though it's all gone. I would love to hook at least three players tonight but who do you replace them with? Villa just scored!!!!

During the week Carlo said he would drop players for under performing. I say drop yourself. The Diamond is useless! And take Ballack, Joe Cole and Petr Cech with you.
-
I agree with ollie. I think we will either draw 1-1 or 0-0, or flog them 4-0.
-
Stop blaming the ref. We got owned by a bunch of strikers playing in the midfield. We showed them no respect. Man c are a quality side who deserve more respect than they are given. Lamps needs to let somebody else take set pieces and penalties. 3 losses and we havent yet travelled to Old Trafford, Anfleid or W H Lane. I think this won't be the last of us dropping points on the road this season.

Selfish?!? We where up 4 zip. Cech could have taken a shot from the other end and i wouldn't have cared. The problem in the past between our youngsters and Arsenal's is that Wenger gives them more than 3 minutes of playing time. Arsene lets them develop before shipping them off on loan if they don't score on there first touch. Carlo (whom i was very iffie about) is really giving these young lads a go. I honestly think we've signed a 20 year old Ballack (Matic) and have two really exciting speedsters coming of age. Very exciting times ahead.....

The Toughest Month Of The Season?

With Joe cole back, Lampard hitting his straps again and the form of our bench players, i can't see any reason why we can't get the quadruple. We have more than enough talent to do it. It will come down to leadership from our senior players, good managment and hard coaching... Anything less than another major trophy will be a failure in my opinion. Personally i would prefer the Premier League. Champions league imho is a competition run by crooks and cheats.. -
Did anybody watch Manure vs Bolton? Wanderers were so unlucky not to equalise at the end. I can't see Man u or Liverpool being a massive threat this year. I am more worried about the Mancs and Arsenal...

I totally understand your reaction and agree with you. I don't undertand how some people can be so calm when we drop valuable points against bottom four teams. In 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 our home form was near perfect and our away form let us down. In our 08-09 campaign our home form let us down. It looks like another frustrating season on the road for us. I just hope we fire up before the heavy Christmas Schedule. Oh and another thing, That second kit is cursed! 2-2 Draw to Reading, 3-1 loss to Wigan, and now 2-1 down to Villa! Remove the patch and burn the bastard!
-
Too right! The second goal was way to soft for our standards. Although i believe it's still way to early in the season to be jumping to conclusions, i was merely pointing out the room for improvment. I must admit the boys played well considering most of them played 180 minutes in a different country this week, but, this is where our depth should have come in to play. We had so much fresh talent on the bench that should have been utilised alot earlier in the game.. I fear Carlo is under pressure and scared to give a younger player a go. This could really hurt us 2-3 years down the track when our more experienced players retire and move on...

Is this or is this not a forum? A place where people come to discuss and opinionate over a certain topic. My opinion is that we are lucky to be where we are this season. We haven't even hit the hard part of the year and we are already dropping point's to teams like Villa and Wigan. Why are we having trouble defending on set pieces again? Why Does Carlo wait till 5 minutes from time to put on some fresh legs? I know you like to log in to this site and find positive post's all the time. I am sorry that you have to come on to a forum and read something that upsets you. I guess i will take my opinion to somewhere that i can have a decent debate about the form of my side without people like yourself accusing me of being negative.

For those of you who think we were unlucky today have some long thinking to do. We are very lucky to be where we are this season. Late winners against Hull and Stoke and scoring only 2 goals in both our Champions league matches. We beat a very out of form Liverpool who were so unlucky infront of goal. We needed to put our star players on the field to beat QPR in the cup game. Honestly, we need to take a long hard look at ourselves. Not very happy today!!

Don't know if he second kit would clash. It looks kinda black after you add some sweat...
-
this has been a long time coming. We've been very predictable and very lucky over the last 6 weeks. Even in our CL game we were lucky. Besides Tottenham, all the other games could have gone either way. Time to wake up people. Maybe our bubble has burst...

Most of our players can play out of position, Hence the 3 players per position. Not 3 different players per position.
-
That's where Roman and his brown paper bag's come into play.
-
Injuries are a part of the game, no club can go all season injury free. That's why we have at least 3 players for every position. They might not be as good as the injured player, but they will lean on the players around them and be better for it. I think this is a blessing in disguise. We have to start developing our junior talent! We can't just run to shop everytime something is broken. We need to try and fix it! Let's not forget Lampard wasn't a born talent, he learnt from the players around him! I hope we un-earth a massive talent!
-
It's no doubt a dog act by FIFA, but honestly, Who gives a fuck??!! Our players arn't that old! People on here a carrying on like we have a nursing home at the bridge. Get a grip people! WE ARE THE MIGHTY Chelsea FC!!!!! We have enough depth in our squad to field two teams in the top 4!!!! I couldn't give a fuck, it will give us a chance to use some of our younger players as well... HEADS UP PEOPLE!!!!!
-
Honestly ive bought a few from Thailand, Hong Kong and China over the years and i can say that most of them are very good replica's. In some cases they are identical to the replica's from the megstore. IF you want the real player issue kits you need to look for the "Formotion" jerseys. I got one and the quality is superb! Little pricey though!

Ash seems to say "fucking hell" alot! Other then that, no! None of them annoy me.....ATM

I will admit that i have bagged Ancelotti in the past. Several times actually. It's not that i don't like the man (He seams nice) , It's just that when you inherit a team like Chelsea, who under Hiddink were pretty much unstoppable and then concede goals against Reading, Hull and Sunderland and not to mention two soft goals from Manchester United, it kinda makes you think what's going to happen to us against the top 6 sides. At the moment i am content with the performance of the lads in the last two games. Both Hull and Sunderland parked the bus and unlike last year we broke through them. It's because Ancelotti has finally given us a short passing game. We have lacked this for a long time. I just hope we can tighten our defence. The boys still need alot of work, but i would prefer they peak later in the season as opposed to last year's early season peak followed by our mid season burn out!

Agree. There is definetly room for improvement. Once this new formation becomes more fluent with the players then at least we will develop a plan B by going back to the 4-1-3-2 formation if it's needed.
