I understand the thread as he did perform well when watching him today though against the weakened greek team i think many players would probably look good against them... If the 1mil valuation is correct then as a backup right back it wouldnt be a bad shout.

Neymar is mainly a ST... I rate him as well, but the problem we will have is he probably doesn't want to play RW, meaning he would play ST. Torres doesn't like RW at all meaning we would have the same problem at RW.... Though please correct me if im wrong as i admit i dont follow the brazilian league... And if in fact he loves to play RW then i take it back... Also would neymar even leave... And if he does he would probably cost a hell of a lot more than 30 mil.... As in they would probably ask for like 50/60 mil, based on what we paid for Fernando.

Adam Johnson???? Matt Jarvis???? I would rather have a slightly overpriced Hulk any day... He is unproven... (Fair enough in the prem)... but so is the majority of foreign players.... He is strong fast can score and has numerous assists as porto.... He also WANTS to play at RW... something that we dont have.... He also is a bit of a different atacking option to Hazard, Mata, both of which i really like btw.... And if for some reason we need to go for a more attacking line up then he can be used as a second striker.... Also it is easy to name several players who are as good or better than hulk and maybe cheaper, but the vast majority are still under contract, (to release them is much more expensive), happy where they are, or dont want to come here.... That seriously reduces the numbers... I think some people think that all players will just move wherever without a say and think they are playing Fifa..... If we can get a better player in the same position for cheaper then i am completely open to it but until then i would love to see Hulk in a blue shirt...

Why is everyone getting so worked up with the money..... If roman wants to pay it then why not... Unless of course it affects the club in a ffp way or any other way, but him paying 8 mil more than he is worth will not bother me... If we can get a better RW who can be a back up to torres then buy him instead...i am all ears..... I know we dont want to get mugged off but what difference is 8 mil to roman... And if he thinks that the price tag is too much then its fair enough as its his money. I wont be going to the match and being annoyed that hulk cost roman more money than he should....

04/05 i think was our best season in the sense of our strength of team... i.e. that we had a young drogba who could get through a wall, lampard the greatest midfielder in the premier league and a really solid JT... if you looking for best in terms of succcss then it has to be 11/12 becuase the champions league is the biggest cup of all...

how is hulk not needed... who do you want on the right wing??? sturridge doesnt like to play there, torres cant.... leaves you with kalou... putting mata on the right but he doesnt even like playing on the left... ramires likes to be more central... Hulk is great for the role, and provides back up for fernando.... If roman wants to spend 40 mil on hulk then thats fine with me... i wont be saying well he has done well but his goals per mil wasnt as good as x, y, or z... providing it doesnt cause any effects to the club in terms of FFP etc, or debt that we cant deal with etc, then im not really that worried about the prcetag... if roman wants to spend it then who am i to argue... will chelsea be better with hulk???? yes... - sounds good to me...

why the hell would we get rid of the legendry club captain or the greatest player thats ever wore a shirt...obviously there will come a time when they cant play anymore and that will be the saddest day ever... but they still got loads to offer. the people saying we should get rid off our leading goalscorer last season can piss off... i wouldnt swap messi for super frank... :)

lamps has the creativity we need, when he is rested then romeu could be the answer if josh isnt ready....

38 MIL, 32 MIL, to roman there isnt much of a difference. He fills a trouble spot we have had for several years now, ever since the leaving of players like Robben, and i would love to see him at the club.... Hopefully it happens whatever the fee,...

I like the theory as mata is he makes a great playmaker from deep, and it would give us an extra spot ahead for someone like ramires in his prefered box to box role, however he would leave us defensively lacking and unless he is playing alongside someone like a makelele in his prime then we would be very vunerable on the counter attack...

15 mil seems a lot for a player fairly unproven in the holding role... especially as we hae a lot of cover there at the moment, and he wont get a chance in a more forward role which as far as im aware is what he prefers, though im not an expert on the russian league so could very well be wrong... Get Hulk and develop ramires into a more cm role, which would be good for us imo...

He would maybe just make it onto our bench... Definately dont need him....

Dont we already have someone who can control the game and can split defences with his passing etc, who can also defend shoot take free kicks, has more assists per game and goals per game than scholes etc... SUPER FRANK....

hopefully we get him as soon as possible so i can see the man u clubs and the 2 scum clubs frantically panick about the quality of our attack... :)

Yeah i know i have to be more realistic about our team, though we do have a lot of depth there... especially with only 2 starting spots though obviously rotation is key like you said... I rate fellaini but Lamps will always be number 1.... And since his injury essien hasnt looked the same. I do agree with you there, we should thank him for his tremondous performences for us and start developing the likes of Josh MC to take his place in a few years time.

I think fellaini would have fitted in perfectly to our team 4 years ago, but now we are going for more of a creative flair approach rather than brute force. I do rate him as a player but im not sure where he will fit in... Does he start instead of ramiries in the central role... I wouldnt be too happy with that. 20mil is a lot for a position we have lots of cover in atm... Though with David luiz and fellaini we would be a pretty cool looking team... so there are positives and negatives...
