I think we had effectively 6 midfielders, so we had more space, and time to get crosses in... Shame Piazon isn't the best in the air, but it was a bit ironic, when our big tall striker comes off we start getting him some good balls in.

Tbh, the first half saw us be pretty solid at the back, (they got a bit of luck for the goal, though he made a good run), but our midfield didn't have a lot to link up to as Lukaku struggled at times, and was dropping deaper to get the ball. We are clearly missing a striker... And whilst many may say torres hasn't been scoring many goals, he knows how to be a striker, which gives our midfield options, which we had little of, resulting in us often lumping the ball up field. Also, mata who has been our best creative player is also missing and he is the only settled player in that front 4 we have been playing (ramires being the exception), everyone needs time, and we should give them that time. Everyone is playing in different positions they may not be used to in a system they are getting used to with players they never have played with before, we made 10 changes yesterday, we are still experimenting... Man city in the community shield will probably be the first time we will see a team, that is fairly representative of our first team, and we can see how the players are doing with each other.

Him going on loan wil be great for us. He gets needed play time, and we can get the developed player when we need him, whilst reducing the number of midfielders we have, as it is pointless for a lot of them to jsut sit on the bench, and it looks like we have more coming in.

Yeah it depends who we can find at what price. Also tbh, what really good keepers want to come and sit on the bench all season. That is why i liked cudicini, He was a good no.2, and could come in when needed but wasn't so big a name that he was fine being no.2 for a long period of time... So i say we have enough GK's and i would like to see blackman giving the no.2 spot, as he is as good as the rest but should get better. I don't have much faith in Ross turnbull, and hilario, hasn't performed well, the few times we have seen him, last season, and in this years pre season. I say leave it for now as we could always get one in the Jan transfer window if needed, but we don't need another GK atm.
