I think what some people are trying to say is that the value of all 3 is more important than who is best in one position... For example in my opinion Mata is best central and probably the best we have there, however the value we lose of putting him on the Left Wing is less than the value we would lose from putting Oscar on the RW. Obviously he hasn't even played yet so it is just my opinion and could well be wrong but i think that Mata Oscar Hazard could add more overall for the team than: Hazard Mata Oscar Now i agree with many others on here i don't think RDM will move him and likely it will be: Hazard LW Mata CAM this season...

Don't think it was ever an if we can't get Moses we will go for hulk, think its more of a case where we are stalling to see if we can get hulk and if not we will bring in victor Moses.
-
We don't need a high profile striker, but we only have 2 strikers in our whole squad, most other top teams have 5, so a backup striker is required... if something happens to torres, then we are incredibly thin up top...
-
Every game would finish like 4-2...
-
Can't believe modric talk is starting again, i think its just a matter of time before he goes to real. Still you seem to never know with football but i don't think its very likely.
-
Hell No, he wants to end his career here, let him end is career here, even in 2 years time providing he keeps fit which he will, he is still a great player for the last 10 mins of a game.... IMO, Lampard is still a great player and his criticism comes due to his age. He hasn't shown anything to make me think he isn't still one of our best midfielders and the man with a lot of experience, especially compared to Raul meireles and essien etc who are also experienced.

Done my two hours of tinkering yesterday, feeling much happier with it now.... P.S. i am in a league with a prize of 250 quid which is why i will spend so long on it.
-
One would surely hope so...
-
I know what you mean but imo the premier league games are much more important, so if he has to miss one game i would rather it be that one, also him missing one game to get a full rest shouldn't weaken our team too much...
-
Surely he can get his rest after the first 3 games (newcastle match) and not play vs athletico madrid in the supercup thingy and then he gets 3 weeks rest before QPR match on the 15th of september... That makes much more sense to me...
-
I wan't to see oscar there, though i think RDM will play Mata at CAM and Hazard at LW, meaning Oscar will probably come in next to mikel. Not what i would do but what i think RDM will do, though time will soon tell, and it will be great to see all our players that will be very prominent this season in the same team together. Won't happen vs Wigan i doubt but maybe by Newcastle or QPR when we have had a month or so with everyone back to settle in etc.
-
Can't wait for the footie to start tommorrow... Just looking forward to jeff stelling and the boys... Then Newcastle vs Tottenham
-
Don't think it will happen yet, probably a 10 min sub appearance, a 30 min sub appearance vs Reading and then start to break into the first team imo. Be great to see him in a chelsea shirt though.

On the Sturridge and Torres front, it doesn't really matter if it will work because i highly doubt it will ever happen, at least at the start of a game... Firstly we only have 2 strikers, so i doubt we will play them both at the same time, even if we get another striker its unlikely... Also we have A LOT of highly talented AM'ers therefore we would lose one of our best attacking midfielders for a two man attack up front...
-
I totally agree, i think wigan game is too soon and newcastle could even be a bit soon if he needs more time to settle, but by then/after then i too fully expect him to become a regular etc... He is only 20, but as you say he has become brazils first choice number 10, and would appear to be one of their best ball retainers/passers... If he doesn't play many games this season then he will have been heavily under utilized.
-
What makes it funnier is that most arsenal fans get RVP on their shirt, so there will probably lots of people not wearing thier arsenal kits til they get a new one... Arsenal probably gonna get an extra 10 mil from shirt sales...

Great wallpapers mate, real talent... Shame i can only use paint...

I agree with the highlighted part from the little i have seen... Tbh a solid defender who keeps it simple in possesion is often an underated quality and one that shouldn't be seen as a negative... Ideally we want him to be the right footed ashley cole but we have to be realistic and providing he can provide us some width on that right hand side then he can be very useful for us. Also i don't think he will be first choice. not this season anyway, so a signing who won't be anywhere near as popular or publicesed as our big name ones but can do a job for us when required.
-
Just logged on and it went from 12 people viewing the thread "Hulk" to 49 so i was expecting big news, but no, except for the daily star, which is less relieable than the daily fail. I still think this could well be the deadline day signing but we will see..
-
I didn't see the match, as i was watching england and brazil on my laptop but based on highlights he didn't have a great game, but it seems to have hardly been bad, couple of promising runs before being hacked down (a site we will no doubt get used to very soon), and as others said, would have been one on one with a better pass... Didn't see the whole thing so clearly could be missing something, but i know of plenty of players whose "bad" games are so much worse than that...
-
no way can i see this board deciding to go into this season with just torres and sturridge as striking options; and whilst moses has become more of a RW'er he would still class as a 3rd choice option, so if this doesn't happen i am fairly certain we will see another Backup striker/ RW'er before the end of the transfer window.. So we could just be waiting to see what happens with other deals like the hulk one before buying him, and if Hulk etc falls through then Moses is still available...
-
Hopefully Rooney and RVP get in each others way, but whatever way you look at it they have two world class strikers who in the past year are on good form, they still have the pace on the wings with valencia, young and Nani, and Kagawa in the middle makes them a very good attacking force on paper... Added to the fact they still have Welbeck, hernandez and berbatov on the bench for them gives them options... Compounds the fact that we desperately need another striking option, it doesn't have to be a big name but an out and out striker who can provide some sort of backup, as a strikeforce of torres (Who i think will do well this season) and sturridge(who has only really played RW for us) is slightly worrying... Moses would add some depth though he is more of a RW'er now and hasn't played ST for a while... We will see, starting to think that if we are to break into the top 2 this season then we are gonna have to get this team to gel together extremely fast and play tremendously well. Time will tell, but i think United could be scoring a lot of goals this season (unfortunately)...

2-1, actually a good strike from defoe there...
-
Brazil 3-0...
-
He is doing ok, though in that brazil team is getting a bit overshadowed tbh... Watching two games at the same time so may have missed some stuff so i could be proven wrong but thats the impression i get... Oscar looking good though from the bits i have seen, drawing plenty of fouls...
