WOW, really that much hate for our captain... I don't overate our english players... I am not saying he is as good as he was two years ago, but is still better than GC and DL. There is not a chance that JT gets muscled out of the team this season. And for good reason as he is still our best central defender imo.

We shouldn't need him to lead the line though, only if something happens to Torres and Sturridge which is why it is just a backup... I think we should buy a cheaper backup striker who can do a job for a few games if needed. I know what you are saying as its a long season etc to rely mainly on torres, but unless we sign a cavani or lewandowski etc which i think is unlikely we won't be having those options that someone like city has in the stirker position.

Song leaving would be a bigger problem for arsenal than RVP leaving, no guarentee he was gonna light it up but song is one of the best arounf in that holding position and would be a hige loss for them... If he goes arsenal will have a big struggle to get top 4...

I think Cavani is the contigency plan if torres is not performing come january time... I agree that i don't think we want him atm though, and i have high hopes for torres so hopefully we won't need him.

I know but i think he is much better in the middle running the show... He probably will be played RW/double pivot though and hopefully he can perform as well as we have seen him play at CAM for brazil. If he does then it would solve all our right-sided problems...
