  1. Yep.. Its still in our hands. The next 2 are HUGE games. If we can win at home vs shak then we have a slight cushion going to juve. If we don't beat shak then juve have the lead and we have to go to their house and beat them which is a completely different story. 4 points in our next two games and we are fine (easier said than done of course).
  2. Because they have the best attack we will probably come up against this whole season. Manure has been very shaky in defence, but in terms of striker quality they have that in bucket loads.
  3. I think we have to start them. We all know this could end up being a shootout and with their attack i highly expect them to score, so we must go out to attack. We know what has happenned when we sit back. Our worst result came from doing that vs QPR. It worked vs arsenal and tottenham so why change it.
  4. Arsenal will still go through. Man city won't.
  5. You never know... http://gyazo.com/dbd9dd1330ee51b3d1a97adccbff364d
  6. Definately, probably didn't because mata didn't role around like an idiot afterwards.
  7. santos getting absolutely ripped apart by farfan.
  8. Arsenal stadium is extremely quiet as always lol, you can only hear the schalke fans.
  9. Some people are so stupid. There was also players from both teams in there, so it was not like he was a complete idiot trying to hit the other team (which is still terrible) but he was just trying to injur people...Twat.
  10. Lol, mannone just fouled affelay in the box and the ref booked him for diving. Should have been a pen.
  11. Yeah that looks pretty good, could be an over-reaction by the bookies after the norwich game.
  12. Other than playing mata on the right that would be my team. Of course they all drift around anyway, so it doesn't really mata ( ). Lost a bit of confidence after last nights game however i think we will see a different team on sunday, and can get a result. If we were away i would take a point right now, but at home and seeing that their defence is more shaky than ours i think we can give this a real go, especially if we have mata oscar hazard and srurridge which would be a much better attacking threat. We all know the team will be what you wrote with torres in for sturridge though...
  13. A bit harsh. I agree that sturridge deserves to start as he has shown in his very short appearances he can offer us something more than perhaps torres can. Don't really agree with the rest tbh. Yes he is playing pretty badly and it is very frustrating at times to watch, but it is unfair to actually want him to leave as he is putting in the effort, but is just not producing the final result. RDM picks him and torres does what he can. I think we are all passed the "torres will become what he once was phase", but he still has a role to play, especailly with us only having 2 recognised strikers.
  14. He has been so key in recent weeks i probably would have rested him for sunday. Easy to say now i know after we have lost, but yeah he didn't really turn up as did a fare few of our players. Hazard was probably the best of our "AM TRIO", though he was far from exceptional which is saying something. The biggest thing we could take out this game is that perhaps we are too reliant on one of them stepping up, and be the game changer. At the start of the season it was Hazard, then oscar did his bit vs juve etc and mata has been the man in recent weeks. Obviously today none of them looked close to their best but that is when you want the striker to stand up and create something out of nothing which i feel sturridge will offer us more than torres will.
  15. Yep, better to do it in small amounts (depends what is small to you of course), i try and pick a target then if a get to it i take 75% out and do that, then it doesn't get bad. Some people end up losing some then increasing the amounts to try and make up for it and that never ends well.
  16. Well looks like we both lost. I only lost a fiver as i just do it to mess about and if i get to 40 i withdraw most of it, but shit happens...
  17. Its not the end of the world. We played badly. Everyone has a bad game at times. They hadn't been beaten there in 32 games. Its not like we just lost to nordjaelland (no offence as they are clearly better than they are made out) they are a good team with a good quality striker, something that in all fairness we didn't really have tonight (however quite a few players didn't turn up so we cant just through the blame all to torres). We are still top of the league and second in our group. If we can get the win vs shak at home then we can go away to juve knowing a point would do, which is more realistic than going there needing to win. Thats assuming we beat nordsjaelland at home, though tbh, if we get ourselves in a position where we need to win that to qualify there is very little chance we should mess that up. Bottom line... It could have been better but it could have been a hell of a lot worse, and nordsjaelland has done us a mighty favour.
