Yep, West brom have been very good this season, but it is a game we should be resting some big names, as Man city is a huge game obv, and Juve could determine our champions league campaign this year.

Our midfield didn't get owned by liverpool... Up until the goal we were all pretty solid.

Torres was no where near his worst, and did do some good things. But who voted him for MOTM?

Next game i think we should perhaps give marin and moses a start and give mata/oscar/hazard a rest, and play sturridge up front. If somehow it doesn't work then at half time we can make the changes, but we have a LOT of games coming up in the next few weeks and we cannot have everyone starting every game. Also worth considering putting moses up top.

It has got to be hard to make an impact when all you ever get is 3 mins here and there. Granted he got 10 mins today, but you do need some kind of form, and generally cannot just switch it on like that.

Yeah exactly. We bettered man u for a lot of the game before what happenned happenned. City have been awful in defence, as have united. We are still in this race as far as i am concerned. We need to find a striker fast but its not like we are arsenal who are 9 points behind us.

I don't think its about the league, its just we dropped points when we shouldn't. If we get to march and we are right there then great but these are games we should be winning. We are 3 points behind top, if people considered us in the title race before the match then surely we are still in the title race. If we can get to christmas being close to top then bring in any striker who is a proven finisher, then we have a chance. As i said earlier that is the only area we are lacking in comparison to united and city.

Exactly. The strikers job is to get the ball across the line. Yes when the rest chip in it is great. But when you have to rely on your AM 3 you are always gonna be at a disadvantage. If you look man for man, (Excuse the pun), we have as good a team as man u and man city, EXCEPT in the striker department. If they are in trouble, RVP, HERNANDEZ, AGUERO, TEVEZ, DZEKO, steps up, even when they are playing badly. Man city this season have been saved at least 4 times, when they found themselves in similar situations to we found ourselves today. In many games it may not matter, but over the course of a 38 game season that will be the difference. United and city should have drawn based on the situations they found themselves in but fought to get 2 extra points. We should have won, but lost 2 points.

TBF, We have looked a better team than city and i don't really see a gap, other than in terms of strikers. It is just they have been saved so many times in the last 10/15 mins. If we had that kind of strike force we would be miles away.

Also mata and oscar are not getting as much stick as torres, because mata has been exceptional, and oscar has also been extremely good. I am extremely annoyed they missed, but like i said you can't score them all. Even messi misses, but torres is consiistently bad, and right now i am more annoyed with RDM's approach with his subs etc than torres. I still am behind RDM but he has got to sort that out.

No its not that. If you had offered me 3rd 3 points off top at the start of the season after the pre-season we had i would have taken it... It is just the manor of how it happenned and Torres' seemingly untouchable nature. What do we have to lose trying someone else. Put moses up there or something. He can't exactly lose us anything in attack. Its also the fact we wait for them to equalize then decide we should change something. We could all see 50 mins in that torres needed to come off and we needed someone like moses to test them with pace but we wait til they score.

Man city have so many strikers you even forgot one (Balotelli). Our 3 can only do so much. They need some help from a striker. If you are hazard, you keep running looking up and passing to torres, who loses it, your gonna get pissed off, and try and go it alone.

Yeah, mata missed an amazing chance, but he has been great for us. No one can score everything. It happens. But we are pretty much playing with 10.5 men. Also oscar for moses, is a bit weird for me.

Yeah we have all that creativity and talent but no focal point. If they had someone quality up top, then we would finish them up. Mata missed a good chance etc, thats when the striker should step up... I.E. Drogba.
