I am in a similar boat like most. I have 3 chelsea players and a reading one. Basically i planned ahead and have offloaded mikel who was sitting on the bench anyway this week, also had to replace aguero as he was injured. One free next week will remove POG and then i will play a 4-4-2 instead of a 3-4-3 as some of my cheap subs start for thier teams (so i have used 4 points to avoid the situation and still keep them all with mikel being the exception, though he was on my bench anyway)... I wouldn't sacrifice 8 points though as you will get back 2 per player then need one of them to score which could happen but is a big risk... you could use your wildcard though you don't wan't to get rid of them as you obviously want them back the week after. It depends... Who do you have on your bench? (i have all my money in my starting 11 so my bench consists of 2 4 mil defenders and it did have mikel). If you have enough starters on the bench then i wouldn't do anything except bench them for the week and hope your bench sitters can get you a few points, if they don't start then you can start the week with 9 players, lose 8 points (pointless if you are transfering out chelsea players as you have to put them back in the next week), or just do one transfer, or wildcard it and change your bench sitters so that they are all cheap starters and then you can have a full fielded team without having to get rid of your Chelsea players.

I highly doubt it would mean that... We now have 2 strikers and a backup 3rd striker... So unless cavani all of a sudden turns up i doubt we will be selling him.

considering the amount of decisions that go against us we are owed a few... but we can all do the if, but, then x y z would have happenned... If it was ruled offside we would have gone at it even harder to get the winning goal and would have had more chances.... If rambo had passed the ball early on torres should have scored and we would have been further ahead. If cech didn't spill it... etc We were the best team on the night and deserved the win...

Why? We have played two games this season, and there is a 3 week break including one match vs athletico madrid...

If we are talking about what i would like to see then that would be: Cech Ivan Cahill Terry Cole Mikel Lamps Oscar Mata Hazard Torres Oscar is better central but i don't think he will be given the nod there any time soon... No way is mata going to be rested this game as if he was gonna be rested yet then it would have been against reading, also as i said previously doubt torres and danny will start at the same time because of the lack of striking options.

I agree, he should definately play instead of ramires at RW as he offers much more in an attacking sense... We should also get him to watch our 4th goal yesterday over and over again where we passed it to the better option, even when he could have shot and probably scored... Realistically though he won't play there as it will be pretty silly to play our only two striking options at the same time as it gives us no options to change anything up top, not until we get a 3rd striker.

No hazard is gonna end the season: 0 goals 50 assists... First ballon d'or winner not to score...

Anyone who thinks this team is average is mistaken... Cisse, arguably the best striker in the league january onwards (Van persie possible exception), Demba ba who is getting back into it and scored a good goal last game... Cabaye has a lot of class, ben arfa at times was ripping apart tottenhams midfield, they also have tiote who is extremely phyical and try to dominate Hazard and mata etc... Still think we can win this one though we have to be extremely careful... 2-1 to us would be my prediction... 3 points however they come would be great. Also we have the assist machine who will take a lot of thier attention so hopefully that can creat space for some of the others... We do have the slight advantage that they are playing in greece this evening so we may have an extra day than them, however it is unlikely that they will fully play thier first team.

I think its because the whole footballing world seems to be on his back so us/ our own fans go out their way to show support for our player and get behind him... If we as chelsea fans turn against torres then he has no hope of ever getting back to the level he once was at... He is our striker in our team and the one we are relying on to get us goals up top at the moment, no good can come from not getting behind him. He knows more than anyone he needs to pick it up, we are just trying to build confidence etc.

It seems to me that lampards age is getting referenced far too much.. Yes he is not exceptionally quick but he was never breakneck speed anyway, it was his tactical awareness positioning and timing that made him deadly.. He is still adjusting to his deeper role and i think he still has that... Also there has been nothing to suggest he doesn't have the same level of fitness many of the others have... He was still motoring forward and back towards the end of the game yesterday and looked to still have the stamina required... Admittedly he has not played amazingly over the first two games but saying the defensive error were down to him is a bit extreme. For example, mikel in the first game gave the ball away about 7 times and ivanovic has in both games appeared to be ripped apart at times in his right back position. Atm, compared to the alternatives he is the best we have at starting off the attacks from deep (the exception being oscar who has only been in the squad a week and isn't really a DM either). I think he needs to be a little more disciplined as at times he still thinks he is a CAM venturing forward in great positions like he has done BRILLIANTLY for all those years, and hopefully a bit more of a word from RDM and he can make a few adjustments... Anyway we need him on to convert all the penalties that eden is gonna win for us.. Really hope he can get to that 203 goal mark to become our top scorer, which is 15 goals away, would be an extremely special moment for him and all of us...

Before the big break i will just take the 3 points however they come... I expect to see the exact same lineup as we did yesterday i think... Luiz may be put back in if he is fit but other than that i don't expect any changes...

Yeah i think he has been there a week today so its very good... A few more weeks time and it should be extremely good to watch.

Well the premier league dream team thing gave it to Cahill for some reason, but obviously thats not done off official stats or anything... Its got to be hazard, 3 assists in one game and bossed the midfield...

LOL at the the premier league website, they give out bonus points for best 3 players... 3 points to Cahill 2 points to Ivan 1 point to Torres.. So hazard wasn't in the best 3 players.... OK lol... The people who rate these clearly just look at the scoreline and the players that scored...

Be good to see Marin back and have a go in this team with Mata, Hazard and oscar, should be extremely interesting... Anyone know when he should be back?

Tbh, i don't think torres was as bad as some people make it. Granted he needs to be better, and his finishing touch was lacking at times this evening, don't think he should be benched just yet as we have danny as the only other option atm... Obviously if we suddenly buy cavani then it will happen but torres really should have had two tap ins today (Rambo should have passed early on), and that would probably change the opinion of many... Don't get me wrong i am not saying he is playing well but i don't think he should be benched yet. Danny was quite good when he came on, and i would like to see him given a bit more time in place of torres if he is not firing after 60 mins.

Cesar should be coming soon. Won't play instantly but be good to see him given a go and see the difference... Could well start sooner than some of us including me would have thought.
