Playing defensive for the draw would be very worrying for me... Go out there with our best team, and go at them. If we let them dominate, and back off then we will be in big trouble. This game won't fifnish 0-0 and i will be highly surprised if they don't score. If we are up by 1 with 20 mins on, then he can decide he wants to add some protection in there, but i would rather have to do that late on than have to go the other way and chase it. Over 90 mins they will break us down eventually if we sit back. Play our most solid defence, mikel rambo, hazmatcar, and danny (it will be torres but anyway). Or put lampard in there for his experience and because i love him...

Yep mikel often goes under the raydar in this team which is a good thing in many ways as the ones who get the most attention are generally the ones who have played the worse. He is solid, dependable and does his job well and when coupled with ramires looks like a good partnership... It did make me laugh when the fox commentator said the massive understatement mikel "doesn't score that often"... lol, but that is in no way his job and is extremely important in the setup of our team.

Cole didn't play vs shakhtar.... Cole hasn't exactly been spectacular this season but i would take him over bertrand every day of the week.

LOL, we don't need a striker who can drop deep or do some great passing, or is known for his scholes like through balls. We have emense creative quality in the 3 behind, I just want someone who puts the round thing over the line. I am not too bothered how he does it just as long as he does it.

I don't know, cech makes more sense because of his experience etc, but i personally don't like keepers as captains as they can't influence the game and do what JT does so well. I would probably go Gary cahill if he is on the pitch, or even someone like mata, but out of the choice you have given us i suppose it would be A.C. No one is close to JT, or tbh frank lampard in captaincy terms.

Danny offers a lot more, and makes runs in... His shooting leaves something to be desired, but i would rather have him there to create a chance and maybe miss than to just lose the ball... Also lets not forgot torres has played 10 times more mins than danny, he has hardly been given time to have a run in the side. This means that every time he is on the pitch he feels he has a short time to prove himself, so probably trys to hard and snatches at oppertunities as he feels he has to have a great performance otherwise its the torres show for another 4 games.

Newcastle lost at home to swansea as well which could be seen as an upset as well... First time ever i have done an accumalator (Everton, Man u, chelsea, newcastle ALL DNB) and they all lost LOL.

Exactly, the fact that they need to come from behind in so many games is a sign of how we are still in this. Yes we don't have anywhere close to the (STRIKER) threat they do but i would take our best defensive 5 over thiers all day long. We are only 4 points behind and proved when we played them that we are more than a match for them. If we can get a result vs city then why not. As norwich proved man u can be stopped in attack and broken down in defence so, we are still in this race.

Good thing for us, is he knows he would be number one instantly and be the focul point of everything, (and hopefully still in the chmps league) wheras at city although he is better than aguero etc, they already have 4 great strikers so he will have to play around aguero and tevez etc and play off them, where as here he would be THE MAN.

Yeah danny is fristrating but at least we are annoyed that he got in a good position and missed rather than, either not getting in the position or getting there and then getting tackled before shooting. The one on one for example, danny powered through and the keeper made a good save, i doubt torres would have run through the defenders to get in that position to shoot. It also made a change to see a flicked through ball and someone get on the end of it. We had to rest players but if mata had started with danny up top from early on we would have created a lot more chances especially when we had a lot of terrortory in their final 3rd only to result in no options and losing the ball or shooting from long range.

Yeah i would much rather Dzeko than balotelli. He is good but would think he is bigger than the team. If it was him or no-one then it would have to be him, but there are far better cheaper options.

Just give me a point right now please.... I will be extremely happy to get a draw here (first time all season), then have to beat nord at home. I worry we come out too defensive ala barca style and without big Didier I cant see that working too well. Yes we have a lot of pace on the break but I can't see our defence (Especially without JT) holding them out enough. Juve are extremely tough at home but if we play a positive lineup I am sure we are good enough here. Mata hazard oscar sturridge and Ramires. Moses as a special sub who can make an impact with his pace and power. If I see torres up front I think I will start crying.

TERRY AND ANYONE... When you put him next to any of the 3 we are so much better. For me i like the idea of Ivan and JT, as azpi has done well at rb, but i have no problems with JT Cahill... And Tbh, i don't think that JT Luiz is that bad and is good aswell... Without JT, there doesn't seem to be that man organising it. When JT is on the pitch you know who is in charge and he leads by example, and marshalls that. Without him it just seems that no one is taking control. COME BACK JT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we need to try and put behind us our recent form, and go at this one like we know we can. We only really need a draw but we should in no way go out to just get one otherwise we could be in real difficulties. CECH AZPI IVAN CAHILL COLE MIKEL RAMBO MATA OSCAR HAZARD STURRIDGE

Yeah we need to really turn up. Play our best attacking lineup, play solid defenders and see what we can do. Thier attack is very dangerous but their defence is very dodgy.

So basically West brom and norwich to win the league.

I know... Still 4 points off top, could be much worse for us...
