If we play our best team in EVERY game i am confident we will get top 4. If we start resting people and not playing mata and hazard etc then i am not confident at all. As far as i am concerned those 2 should be playing every premier league game with Ba upfront.

And we wouldn't know about whether torres is gifted when on form Becuase he hasn't been on form for 3 years. He has scored critical winning goals. He is the only striker in a 1 up top system. Asking him to score 1 goal every 15 games is hardly a big ask. Ba is miles better and it's not even close. He doesn't have to score to be better as his off the ball impact does enough to help the magnificent 3 behind.

The situation here would be different for modric. He would go from being one of the many to being one of the stars. Though perhaps Jose being the manger could be a slight negative for him.

Mikel is the only player who is considered one of the greatest dm's by some and terrible by others. I am not too sure he is a bit too inconsistent, but is very dependant on the man next to him. His all round game isn't as good as we would like as that would benefit our pivot much more. And if he was to play next to a proper deep lying playmaker which none of lampy Rambo or luiz are, then we may see a different mikel. I do think he should stop shooting lol.

Kind of hope if rafa is gonna do his usual change the team thing, he changes it for this game so the players who played today play vs sunderland.

I think the atmosphere gets a lot of stick, which in many games can be justified, but its always there in the big games. When we play united, or tottenham etc there is generally always a good atmosphere.

Hazard my MoTM. Could have easily picked Demba. Mata was below his usual standard, though was still emencely quality as shown by the beautiful pass for the goal. So any 3 of them could have won it, but he created so many problems for them, even if he didn't score. And Cech of course for the wonder save... Even bertrand did quite well when he had to come on.
