Mate i get that 32 million is a lot of money for a player and that you want to see real quality but you have to remember he's 21 years old at a new club that's going through a transition phase, in a physical league , in a new country not to mention the pressure of that big price tag. Give him some more time. PL is probably the hardest league to adapt to because of the physicality and quick tempo.

I agree that he was poor today and lost the ball too many times but i prefer him trying to dribble opponents, try to make something happen, rather then just passing it back. Ofcourse he needs to have more succesfull dribbles but i want him to run at players.
-
Wow that's kinda harsh. Thought he was good in possession. Offered that extra man in attack. Defensively he showed a lot of energy. I agree that at times there was a lot of space in the midfield but i think that was more to do with not having a DM on the pitch. Rami and Oscar are both very aggressive when defending. So i don't think it's fair to only blame Oscar for it. I think Oscar playing alongside a DM could work very well.

Chelsea in pole position for Guardiola

Yeah it really is. Pointless discussing any further if his argument is "any manager would have done the same thing." Pep is a great manager and deserves a lot more credit then he is getting. -

That's BS. -

Yeah a very simplistic view of things. Pep tweaked the system to play to the strenghts of his team. He helped Messi become the player he is today. He was the one who started playing Messi on the false 9 position. How come Spain won the EC and WC without Messi then ? Spain play the exact same way as Barcelona do. Pep is a great manager and would be the best manager to have in our current situation. -

I agree with you. I think Mourinho's main strenght is that he can make a team rise above themselves. He's not a builder. He's an instant succes manager. He prefers experienced players, relies on their discipline and always tries to play direct counter attacking football. That's not what we need. We need someone who can develop young promising players and implement players into a new system. -

Pep took a team of promising players and turned them into a worldclass team. They were already a good team but he took them to a whole other level. You can have the best 11 players in the world but that doesn't mean a thing if you can't get them to play a system. Team effort always beats individual brilliance. -
Joe Cole was here for 7 years, Hazard has only been here for 4 months... Give him time to develop. Also i don't really get why you had to post this. Noone mentioned Ronaldo or anything like that. People on here just liked his performance, liked his dribbles and want to see more of it. Don't see what's wrong with that. Personally i think he can become a player like Ronaldo, Messi. Ofcourse not an exact copy but you know, a game changer. A player who can win a game with 1 brilliant moment. Someone who the oppositions fears.
-
From now on you'll post that before every game.
-
Now that's more like it ! Great game. Made some great runs. Especially the one that set up torres second goal. Should always try to run at players like that.
-
But that's an assumption your making. Since his time here he hasn't mentioned RM or Barcelona. He hasn't said anything about leaving Chelsea. I just feel people should give him the benefit of the doubt.
-
It's okay. I don't think everyone has to be a fan of his. Whether you like a player or not is your own opinion. It's just that sometimes i see people making assumptions about him or accusations that (imo) are wrong. Like i said in my former post i think a lot of people have got a wrong impression of him. Some Chelsea fans seem to think that he's just gonna bide his time here and then move to Spain. It makes them support Hazard less because they kinda see him like an interim Chelsea player. I think that's unfair as in his time here he hasn't given any indication that he sees Chelsea as a stepping stone or even mentioned RM or Barcelona.
-
Hazard is a loyal player aswell. I think a lot of people have got the wrong impression of Hazard. He's really a good guy. He stayed with Lille for five years while top teams were constantly fighting over him. He could have easily left them a lot sooner. At the end of the 2010-2011 season he had only 2 years left on his contract. He could have easily forced Lille into selling him cheap but he signed a new contract and promised to stay 1 more year.
-
No not really. It's your opinion. Any particular reason why your so short with me ?
-
Euhm might i ask why Hazard is getting shunned ?
-
Watching old YT videos of him when he played for Lille. So strange how big a difference there is between then and how he's playing now. He used to just dribble defenders for fun. Make complete fools out of them. Now it's like he's afraid to take defenders on. Maybe it has to do with low confidence or just adapting to the pace of the PL or something. I don't know but i'm not worried. He's got far too much talent to fail. Eventually he'll start to dribble defenders again like he did at Lille. He'll find his ritme again. When he does we'll be in for one hell of a show. I swear couple of years from now people are gonna go "32 million for Hazard ? Bargain."
-
Your right. He makes 110k a week. It was reported by several reliable French and Belgian media. English media were just guessing. I think the Daily Mail even spoke of 250k a week. Utter nonsense.

I was going to post counterarguments until i read that last part. Your condescension is disgusting. I'm done talking to you.
-
That's not what i said. "He's 21. In his first season at a new club, new country, new league, new system, new language. In 12 games he's scored 3 times, assisted 5, gave 27 keypasses, won 2 penalties and should have had a couple more. That's not bad for a 21 y old in his first season PL." What i meant with that is that when someone criticises Hazard it should be taken into consideration that he's 21 and in his first season. I posted the stats to proof that while he isn't having the best of games lately he was still important and productive in the games he's played. I then gave examples of Hazard being important in games this season as "ChelseaChelsea" said he still had to come out at the times we needed him. "He's yet to come at times when we need him? Did you like miss the beginning of the season where he won us the first games ? Or his assist against Tottenham for Mata which gave us the lead ? Or his cool penalty and his assist against Man united in the league cup ? In 13 games(12 PL+1 LC) he's played a major role in 5 of them." And then i responded to "ChelseaChelsea" saying Hazard missed 3 big chances. While he did indeed miss 3 big chances i made the argument that 2 of them were saved and wit another the ball bounced just before he made contact. "The 3 missed chances: The first the goalkeeper saves well. Hazard had to take it with his left foot. The second the ball bounces just before he hit it. The third Buffon gets lucky he deflectes it with the inside of his heel." The remarks about Willian and Reus playing better are imo just stupid. With that he implied that we better had gone for them. At the moment i could name a bunch of players that are playing better then our players atm. but that's just stupid. Every player has got a run of bad form. (especially a young player who's playing his first season in another team and another league) To then make comments about how it would be better to buy player "A" or "B" because they're playing better at the moment is just plain retarded and simply uncalled for. All the arguments i posted are valid ones. Everyone has the right to an opinion but i have the right aswell to disagree with them aslong as i post arguments to why i disagree with them. I have done that with my post.

Funny reaction coming from you. Everytime someone says a bad word about Oscar your also immediately there defending him. So don't come in here and act all high and mighty. Your guilty of the same thing. Yes i'm a Hazard fan AND a Chelsea fan. So when i feel someone is criticizing him wrongfully then i will react and defend him as i see fit. If you've got a problem with that then tough luck.
-
Ever stop to think how this would affect the team ? How this would affect the atmosphere in which our players have to perform? Just get behind the team. Put the teams best interest in front of your own damaged sense of pride and support the team. That's what a good supporter does. A good supporter doesn't stir things up when the club itself is already in a turmoil.

Okay people are starting to believe daily fail articles so there are only 2 ways to explain this. 1. the daily fail has actually started writing good articles and they 're making a lot of sense. or 2. You people have lost your fucking minds. Because of your rage and dissapointement you've become so freaking gullible that you'd believe the regular shit articles they normally post. Well i'm gonna have to go with way nr 2. Seriously guys. This is the same shit as always. The media would like nothing more then for us to start boycotting and turning on our team. It would just give them more to write shit about.

@ChelseaChelsea Fuck off. I can't even begin to tell you how much you pissed me off. He's 21. In his first season at a new club, new country, new league, new system, new language. Hazard had to take it with his left foot. The second the ball bounces just before he hit it. The third Buffon gets lucky he deflectes it with the inside of his heel. Willian and Reus playing a lot better ? Well go support Shaktar or Dortmund then.
