It's okay. I don't think everyone has to be a fan of his. Whether you like a player or not is your own opinion. It's just that sometimes i see people making assumptions about him or accusations that (imo) are wrong. Like i said in my former post i think a lot of people have got a wrong impression of him. Some Chelsea fans seem to think that he's just gonna bide his time here and then move to Spain. It makes them support Hazard less because they kinda see him like an interim Chelsea player. I think that's unfair as in his time here he hasn't given any indication that he sees Chelsea as a stepping stone or even mentioned RM or Barcelona.

Hazard is a loyal player aswell. I think a lot of people have got the wrong impression of Hazard. He's really a good guy. He stayed with Lille for five years while top teams were constantly fighting over him. He could have easily left them a lot sooner. At the end of the 2010-2011 season he had only 2 years left on his contract. He could have easily forced Lille into selling him cheap but he signed a new contract and promised to stay 1 more year.

Watching old YT videos of him when he played for Lille. So strange how big a difference there is between then and how he's playing now. He used to just dribble defenders for fun. Make complete fools out of them. Now it's like he's afraid to take defenders on. Maybe it has to do with low confidence or just adapting to the pace of the PL or something. I don't know but i'm not worried. He's got far too much talent to fail. Eventually he'll start to dribble defenders again like he did at Lille. He'll find his ritme again. When he does we'll be in for one hell of a show. I swear couple of years from now people are gonna go "32 million for Hazard ? Bargain."

Ever stop to think how this would affect the team ? How this would affect the atmosphere in which our players have to perform? Just get behind the team. Put the teams best interest in front of your own damaged sense of pride and support the team. That's what a good supporter does. I agree. I think It could work given the right guidance and if he works on his shooting. The way we played did make it difficult for a false 9 to work. We didn't retain possesion enough. The amount of times Hazard received a proper ball last night could be counted on 1 hand. About his finishing. He's just not used to getting into goalscoring positions. At Lille he was always the player that gave the assist or pre assist. Rarely was he the one who got on the end of chances because there just wasn't anyone good enough in his team to regulary put him in goalscoring positions. Don't worry his finishing will improve as he gets into these positions more and more. Imo experience plays a big factor.

FFS. First of all people need to stop thinking of attack and defense as 2 separate things. You attack as a team. You defend as a team. For example, when we lose possession we don't press we just drop deep. Doing this with Hazard and Mata isn't smart. You want them to have to defend as little as possible and get them on the ball as much as possible. Having them defend the way we do creates a considerable weakness. I think bringing in Guardiola would change everything. High defense line, pressing the opposition, playing out from the back, a deep lying playmaker in the pivot. He would change the way we attack. He would change the way we defend. Also about your "i won't say..." part. I think people have forgotten how Barcelona played before Guardiola was manager. They were a good team but nowhere near as good as they are today. Guardiola introduced the heavy pressing, the false 9. Guardiola perfected the system. He helped develop Iniesta, Xavi and Messi into the players they are today. The man deserves respect for what he has done and yes so does RDM but if your not the right kind of manager, your not the right kind of manager. Plain and simple. No amount of respect will change that fact. About the article: Guardiola already made it clear he doesn't wanna coach a team until next season. Don't think he'll play with a defensive winger. I think he'll play a 4-3-3. Midfield 3 with Mikel and ramires-Oscar in front of him. Moses on 1 wing and Mata/Hazard on the other. Probably Mata seeing as Hazard played the full 90 minutes on saturday. Sturridge up front. Sit deep and try and counter.

This actually proves the point i was making with all my previous comments. RDM's style is defensive counter attacking football. At the moment we're struggling and the only option he sees is reverting back to a defensive style off play. It's just his natural response. For me RDM can stay our manager for the season and play this season however he sees fit but at the end of the season he needs to take a step aside. Move to a club who has the personnel and ambition to play the way he likes and is capable of coaching. We need to bring in an attack minded manager who's got the tactical knowledge to make us play attacking football. imo Guardiola seems to be the best option out there. Hope we get him in the summer along with a first class striker and a defensive midfielder comfortable on the ball.

I voted for Mata. Azpi was great and should be our first choice RB.
