  1. Go to the Oscar thread and say the same please.
  2. We still can't string 2 consecutive wins together in the league. Fuck off seriously! Back to square one again. I think we would have won this had we had Hazard to come of the bench. So pissed off.
  3. What a goal Costa scored that game. Hopefully he gets another tomorrow.
  4. Voted Hazard in third place for the Ballon d'or. Yes, ahead of Sanchez. Bound to wind gooners up. Respect Petr
  5. Definitely agree. The thing is because it is rare for our talented youth players to break through, many don't bother to look out for our prospects and listen out for the one talked most by fellow supporters and the media. If Jay was taller I would have him as a definite to make it tbh and although he is a tough nut, he struggles against really powerful and direct wingers. Going forward he is excellent and bar when he is up against powerful wingers, his defensive game his generally strong. I don't think Colkett will make it too. He is a talented young player but I think his game is too limited to make it at us. He would struggle with the pace of the PL, imo and would certainly not be ready for a few years. I see a similar player to Josh but difference is Josh is good with the ball whereas Colkett is pretty much a dictater. Actually similar to Baker in some ways but not on his level. Baker is stronger as well. Will be interesting though. There are several talented players in the youth team. Palmer is impressing me more and more this season and has stepped up in Boga's absence.
  6. Well Matic has been more consistent for us than Oscar and I find him more valuable than Oscar tbh.
  7. Do you think Oscar should be in the line up or should he be phased out for a better player?
  8. There is no player section for Jay Dasilva but hopefully someone makes one soon as I cba but Dasilva is going to be a top LB and hopefully at us. He was up against Andros Townsend tonight and performed very well. Townsend caused him a few problems which should be expected of and had a good game but Jay was quality in his own way as well. Put in a couple great tackles and scored an absolute great goal with his weaker foot. Game ended 5-4 to us. Brilliant game. Probably not ready for first team right now but in future, he has got all the capabilities to be a top LB. Watched him several times in the U21 and regularly impresses me. Very diminutive though but hopefully that is not too much of a problem. Wrote it in here because Baba is also young and a LB
  9. I prefer the term, 'a goal from an academy produced player'.
  10. Oscar looked really poor tbh. Not surprised.
  11. Well my bad if you never actually said that then but it is utterly ridiculous imo to say he has no balls. Because he subsituted himself twice and saved himself from more damage? Yet both times he has been injured he has mised our next game? Yeah, really lacking balls... People really won't realise what we have missed until he has gone.
  12. You have got to be kidding? Willian should definitely have been rested. Baba has to be starting. That is the thing, because Hiddink is likely to only be here short term, he has no real interest in making any cup a priority over the other so he just wants to make sure we win every game. Think about it really. What interest is it for him to give the likes of RLC and other youngsters a game if he is not going to be in charge next season?
  13. Mourinho guided us to the PL title yet his attitude stunk up the place too yet after he was sacked you wanted him back in charge and criticised the decision. Talk about attitude. Mourinho's was as appalling.
  14. No balls? Yeah. This is a player who played every PL game for us last season (majority 90 mins every game) and faced some of the worse challenges. Remember that Bardsley one at Britannia and he got on with it like a man. WOW, the way people seem to have short term memory and accuse him of having no balls really annoys me. Would you have said this last season when he played every game regardless of all the kicks he was taking? Doubt it.
  15. Traore has more chance of starting than Bamford imo. Traore played CF for Vitesse majority of last season and has been around the first team this season. I doubt Bamford who has struggled to get into the Palace team whose strikers can't score for their life will suddenly walk into our 11, regardless of it being a cup game.
  16. Nice. 2 goals in a week. Nice to see him trusted with a start in the league and I hope he is in the team with N'tep when he returns rather than make way for him. Such an outstanding talent.
  17. Can see both sides of the argument. Azpi does not play enough on the right for us to see his true attacking qualities however I do agree with Henrique and Gilvorak in the sense that Azpi seems to get way too overrated by our fans. Because he does not get forward as much, he is less likely to get exposed defensively. I agree he is consistent in the fact that he does not make mistakes often but does he produce enough offensively and defensively consistently? Not sure and I would not agree with people saying he is one of our best players. He is excellent defensively but for instance if I had the choice I would have Bertrand over him all day. I still can't comprehend why Bertrand is not LB for us. Not just Bertrand but as soon as Luis was here, he should have been our no.1 LB imo even though Azpi had performed good there. I would have rather him compete with Ivanovic for the RB spot.
  18. KDB has done brilliantly but he is helped by the fact that he plays for an offensive minded manager. Quite the contrary with Hazard under Mourinho.
  19. I disagree. It is our only realistic chance of winning a trophy. I expect to see RLC AND Kenedy and Baba and that is about it tbh. Maybe Bamford but I will not be in the campe of arguing he should start if he don't simply because his loan at Palace did not work out and we are a much bigger club.

  21. TBH I was not even aiming my post at you in particular. It is in general about people who think his difficult start to the season means we are best of without him. Spurs sold Bale for what, near £90m and up until now they have not been able to get a UCL spot. Getting £90m or more for Hazard would be a lot of money but sometimes you cannot replace quality with quantity.
  22. Selective memory is the word for a lot of people on here. It is actually sad the amount of people that are turning there back on him. We were excellent against Palace but some will use that game as proof to say we are better of without Hazard. In the long run, having ihm out the team will show much of a miss he would be.
  23. It most probably is rubbish. Maybe they want him on a loan with a view to a permanent deal but his days here are numbered. He has wasted 2 years now. Last year he went to a Russian team and terminated the loan within 1-2 days. Then went on loan to a Greek team where he never played and that ended up being terminated. Then went to Blackpool and was also a complete idiot. Could not get in the team and was more interested in creating headlines of the field than on it. Now he is at Hibernian in the second division in Scotland and cannot manage to start a game. An example of a player with poor attitude who does not appreciate the talent they have been born with it and it will go to waste. Well when he leaves he will leave a young wealthy man but well done on messing up your football career, Islam. Never been a fan of him tbh.
  24. Vice versa I think he would bore PSG fans and players out their mind
