Don't believe that at all. As good as Azpi is,he don't really fit the mould of attacking fullbacks Barca go after. They will more likely go after Mariano, Gaspar or who knows maybe even Aurier.

-
Nope. Played DM from start of game.
-
He was our best player imo. Considering we had 10 men for majority of game, he imposed himself very well. Had an excellent shot which hit the post as well.
-
It is easily possible. They can re-sign him at a bargain price and sell him for basically double that amount. I would not be surprised to see them do that at all.
-
You can tell from his interview that he now wants to move to us. Basically saying that it is going to be hard but is inviting us to make the move for him and finalisie the deal. He wants to come here, and Conte wants him so let's just get this done. Would be a fantastic signing.

Stephan is 33 in January mate. I believe he would be a great signing for short term but in a few months he will be 33.

What a year does is crazy. This time last year, so many fans would probably have wanted him when he was at Villa. I recall a few people on here wanting him and majority of people stated he was better than Lukaku etc but one bad season changes everything. I mean look at the quote from a member here. Several people liked this post. Nothing wrong with it, because Benteke was top class at Villa however now everyone's perception is that he is not good enough. Yes, he has been poor at Liverpool but let's face facts, he does not suit Klopp's style of play and generally Liverpool did not get the best out of him. He still scored a respectable amount of goals for a player who regularly was benched. That being said, I don't think we should go for him. Just amazes me how people's perception change of a player so drastically.

Fair enough. I see you but for what you know, we might still well go after a more proven CB. Conte may well go after Bonucci however prizing him away will be difficult but people are acting as if Rudiger is our final piece of business. The transfer window has got ages to go and there will be a lot more movement pre and after Euros. Let's just wait and see who else we recruit. If Rudiger is the only CB bought in then fair enough but like I said, we will buy a few players I am sure. Let's just wait and see.
-
He might have flaws but he is still very young and really has all the attributes you want for a CB and one we have been crying out for ages. Fast, good on the ball, strong and often the lack of pace in defence has set us back before. I don't know if the move will go through but if it does, why don't people watch him play in a Chelsea shirt before writing him off?
-
People are doing the same with Rudiger. Not a big name, so means the board is ludicrous and he is going to be a ludicrous signing according to some people...
-
He is like Stones tbh but I would say Rudiger is more lean. Despite not being big, he is tall and has a very strong posture.
-
And like I said already, he is a creative player because I can give you a list of goals where he has shown clear creative nous. On top of my head I remember one of his assists for Aguero against Newcastle last season which was a defence splitting through ball. He done another great through ball against Bournemouth when Sterling got a hattrick. Now if people are talking about he does not build up play, his assist for Aguero's second goal against us was all started and created by him right? I don't know how his assists were at Wolfsburg, but as well as a lot being from set pieces, I can guarantee you a lot of them were probably from good sense of creativity which involved defence splitting balls etc. This is how City's webpage describe him: "Kevin’s creativity and eye for defence splitting passes and crosses prompted City to sign the Belgian international in the summer transfer window of 2015/16."

-
Like, I said he is not your typical no.10, however to say that he is not creative is ridiculous imo. Explain the 27 assists in one season please? That was not just by luck or simply set pieces.
-
He got into double figures of assists last season for City despite being 2 months out injured and at Wolfsburg season before IIRC, did he not have the record amount of assists that season with 27 from what I have read. Not a creative player my ass. He just is not the usual no.10 like Silva and Ozil who really are only creative players while KDB is creative and a goal scorer.
-
You are right. In an interview after moving to PSG, he said his first choice was always to stay at Real Madrid but in other words he was forced out the club and he stated PSG was his first choice of a move however because of the financial restrictions imposed on PSG at the time, the move was impossible and ended up moving to United.
-
He has done well there but he was the only contender to be in chance of winning their young players of the year. Majority of their players are experienced apart from him.

This is why I was pissed off with the constant chants of "Jose Mourinho" in games. So much of the fans showed him loyalty yet he says stuff like this and the unsurprising thing is, I knew Mourinho would come out with comments like this. I wonder what the fans who sung his name constantly after he was sacked feel now.
-
Come off it. Do you really think that is in our club's philosophy of thinking that way? That is what the likes of Ajax do, sell their best players and promote their youth. Musonda is more than 90% certain going to remain at Betis next season anyway. Even with Willian was to be sold, we would most likely buy another player with equivalent price range. Anyway, hopefully Conte has no intention of selling him, whatever the price. I am hopeful him and Hazard can wreak havoc next season.
-
Unfortunately for you, I doubt Willian will leave. Conte will no way make it happen. Would be a ludicrous thing to do. But I remember thinking the same thing with Mata when Mourinho arrived. I would never have guessed he would of eventually leave to United so that proves anything can happen in football but Willian leaving? Nah. And @Special Juan it is these sort of comments that caused me to tell him to a fortnight ago. The way he talks about Willian and people who laud him really pisses me off.
-
Buckenalo? Let's face it. If it was about money, Mourinho would still be here. The truth is Mourinho's legacy spared him a lot more time than he should of got and the results were not improving. How people can blame the board for sacking him is beyond me. Given the circumstances, it was 100% the right decision. He is at United, as tough as it is to see, however I have no regrets about him being sacked. He was beginning to have a toxic atmosphere around the club.
-
I am not a fanboy of Willian. I am a fan of Chelsea and I just now that he is a much better player than Oscar. Yeah, Oscar does all that defensive work. Bla, bla, bla. He is a no.10, I want more than that. He has regressed significantly and it is worrying. Also, what triggers me off is when people call our POTY a "joke of a player" which is an absurd thing to say. Gilvorak just don't like him and has a vendetta for some odd reason. Maybe he took his GF, I don't know. And as for the SJ deleting my comment, really smart. Just to let people know for the record, I have only once ever told someone to "FUCK OFF" and that as for a justified reason imo. Regards.
-
Tell me when I have consecutively told people to fuck off? Because I have not. Don't state things which are not true. I rarely swear at anyone.
