Same here. I love seeing that over and over again. The step over and the finish with his weaker foot is just amazing to watch. And although it was against us, have to admit his goal he scored where he turned Azpi inside out and scored from such a difficult angle was bloody amazing.

And let's not forget if that was the case and we had that trio, Willian would be very vital in doing all the defensive work that Hazard and Mahrez will have less responsibility of doing so, so that they can flourish in attack.

Good. At least Conte has no idea of loaning him out which does benefit us in anyway at all. If Juve or any other team want him, pay a transfer fee instead of this loan business without no obligation to buy.

I feel he was a lot slower at anticipating situations last season but it did not help that Fabregas was poor of a huge chunk as well. With Kante in the team, I think it would improve Matic. It should not be buy one, sell the other. Matic on top form is the best at what he does. And while Kante is excellent, Matic offers a physical and dominant presence because of his size and we need that. And I don't see who we will get as a good replacement unless we are paying over the odds. Same way people are sure Hazard will be back to his best, I am sure about Matic coming back to his best as well.

Please do not sell him. Even if Conte I planning on him starting all the time, he is a valuable asset to the squad. Just imagine a trio of Matic-Fabregas-Kante.... Hope this is bullshit.

Agree with most of what you are saying but for a CB he is relatively quick. Very similar to John Stones imo. None are astonishingly quick but for a CB they are quite quick compared to the majority.

Mahrez might have more goals and assists than Willian but let's get one thing straight, he would not be taking Willian's place in the team. Conte will love to have Willian. A player who works hard for the team, does defensive duties and still provides in attack. Mahrez is a quality player but luxury one. You need to get other players to do his dirty work which is what Albrighton did. Hazard and Mahrez will give us luxury flair but not much help in defence. Anyway, I highly doubt this deal will happen anyway.

Very good loan move for him and I hope he tears the league apart. He was excellent for our U21/U19 team last season. Got around 16 goals IIRC which is excellent. Now is the real step up. Men's football and the Championship. Their manager is right. He really is one of the most exciting young English talents around. People just don't know it yet. Kind of a late bloomer but he has tons of potential and I think he will do bits at Huddersfield. Like I keep saying, can someone with sense just move this to the player's thread please. He is a pro footballer and when he is taking the Championship by storm next season me (and other people) will be looking to comment on his performances in the player thread. That is where people expect to find it.

Still not sure if Leicester allowing Kante to leave is down to a release clause which I thought was supposedly £20m or just that they are bowing to his wishes. You would think if Leicester had their way in this market, they would demand at least £40M. Especially when he was arguably player of the season last season, only 25 and you get the likes of Sissoko and Wijnaldum being valued at £35m and £25m This is really a bargain in today's market.

Doubt it. More like a replacement for Rudiger while he is out injured and they need more cover at CB and at LB too. If Roma are playing hard ball over Nainggolan, they will do the same with Manolas. However saying that, if they by Nacho, they may be willing to sell however I imagine they will want huge money for him but he would be worth it. Bayern will not spend over £35m for a CB to be backup imo. Would be very surprised if they did. And Koulibaly will only join if he knows he will play. So not worried about them.

You would think so however with Everton's new owners they will want to attract big name players and the will give them big wages as well. I also think Mata will end up there btw. But tbh the only credible links have bee us, Arsenal and Everton. He won't join Bayern. Those rumours are hard to believe. But if we put up the cash, I am sure he will join.
