  1. Everton are saying they will sell Stones for around £50m. City are very interested and it will be no surprise to see Stones end up there for around that price. Everton will also have no problem imo paying the fee they receive for Stones on Koulibaly which is why I think it is important we try to wrap up this deal. Everton are already interested and I know they will pay big money for him. We just have to accept the reality of the transfer market and accept we have to overpay for majority of players. Especially ones like Koulibaly who has many football years left.
  2. No. More to the fact that Kalas was rarely going to get games in the PL. Even in the Championship he was struggling to play consecutive games. Now Middlesbrough are up, they are targeting players from bigger teams. E.g Subotic and Barragan. Then there first two choice CB are Ayala and Gibson. They already bought a CB from some Spanish side for cover and if Subotic arrives, Kalas would have been like 5th choice CB. Now to RB, they already have Nsue who last season was more favoured over Kalas and assuming Baragan arrives there he will be the predominant first choice RB. So reality is Middlesbrough probably did not try to sign him permanently or loan him again.
  3. That is the whole point why players his age would go to China. LOL...
  4. If it is a 4-4-2 or 4-2-4, there will defo be games where he will be a sub however the teams that sit back, he will be very useful. Even if Fabregas might not fit in Conte's ideal team, I hope and am very positive that Conte will not entertain the idea of selling him. Hopefully Conte can work with him in training sessions to improve his defensive work rate while still adding much needed creativity.
  5. Probably not but he prob will still play a lot of big games. However I still don't know what Conte's planned formation is and still don't know if the likes of Kante are coming and whether the likes of Matic are leaving, so until then he still remains a key player for him. But regardless, there will be several games next season where we are thinking 'if only we had Fabregas' if we do let him go. Think it will be ludicrous.
  6. That was obvious they would offer him a new contract. He still could reject that and join us instead. What is the panic? It is up to him really.
  7. Would be crazy to let him go. Even if he will not be in Cont'e plans for first 11, when we play much weaker teams, his creativity will be vital. If he goes, what creative passer do we have in the team. Be serious! Pjanic would have been a good alternative but he has gone Juve.
  8. Yep. Nampalys Mendy. Very similar player to Kante.
  9. He is a good player in a shit team imo. If he is at a big team he would be a very good squad player.
  10. Very good footballer too. Got staming, decent passer (as seen for Giroud's goal against Iceland) and has got a decent shot him too. Think he is a terrific player.
  11. Everton are wanting around £50m for him. Yeah in hindsight can see why Juve rejected it and why City bid that much. I just hope Napoli don't use this as a way to over value Koulibaly because he still has 3 years left on his contract.
  12. SkyItalia reporting that while Conte would be happy to keep Cuadrado here but is willing to sell if we receive a good offer, he seems intent on keeping Matic. Really happy about that if true. I think he recognises his qualities and how useful an asset he is.
  13. Nope. Juve are just confirming he has rejoined Real Madrid for that price. I thought it was already confirmed but anyway that is all it is. Juve confirming his 2 year spell has come to an end.
  14. http://www.skysports.com/transfer/news/11679/10455594/man-city-have-16338m-transfer-bid-for-leonardo-bonucci-turned-down-by-juventus-sky-sources Quality CB but that is way too much for Juve to be turning down for a 29 year old imo. We should just stick with Koulibaly.
  15. Really hope this loan at Granada works. Long been my favourite player from the academy. He just has an abundance of talent, it would be a shame to see him not realise it. But like people said, I like Paco Jemez and he plays a really attractive style of football. He has the ability to make it here. Just hope he can prove it.
  16. Morata is not even available at that price. Real want around £50m for him so even if they were to lower evaluation it will be at least £40m if we and other teams are lucky.
  17. Zenit did not qualify for the UCL and have lost Hulk and prob will lose Witsel. I highly doubt he will want to move there.
  18. We won the title first season when he joined us though..... and like Skipper said...
  19. I saw your post on the last page so I know this is not a sarcastic comment. Do you realise what time he came on? IMO, should of come on a lot earlier.
  20. Top assister of the Euros so far anyway At least he gets that rest now. Hopefully he really kicks on this season.
  21. It really is not. He is only 25 years of age. He will have years to come to play in UCL and challenge for major trophies. Leicester won the league and will be in UCL but we are a bigger club and much more attractive for top players, regardless. PSG seem like they are closing in on the signing of Krychowiak which seems to lower the possibility of them getting Kante. Strange because Kante is cheaper, French and you would think they would want more French players in their team. However Emery knows Krychowiak well so that prob explains it. But then look PSG out the picture. Juve been linked. Yeah they are in Europe and Serie A champs but the PL is a better league. So ultimately, us being out of the UCL might make it difficult for us to lure likes of Pogba but likes of Kante, no. Di Maria moved to United, despite them not having no Europe. Another example. Newcastle bought Matt Ritchie. Ritchie is one of Bournemouth's best player, arguably is. He dropped a division down. Why? Because Newcastle are a bigger club and in long run will prob be in a better position than Bournemouth.
  22. Still worth pushing for. What a fantastic goal. Although I would take Kante in a heartbeat, Nainggolan has everything. Stamina, passing, reads the game well and as just seen has the ability to score the spectacular. If we can get both of them, great!
  23. Either way, being a sub at 18 years old and making appearances off the bench and getting the odd starts, even if it out of position is not bad. In the end of the day, United want to get back to where they feel they belong... winning trophies and really there are not really much 18 year kids who start at any major clubs. Rashford will still be in a good position imo, albeit less games. He still will play cup games, start some European games and play PL games. Not bad.
