  1. No brainer for me. I get that people have reservations but for me, he is a striker worth the risk for Arsenal. I think he will score for fun there. Surprised at this. He must have been offered huge wage increase and I imagine a release clause, will be inevitable announced.
  2. Fact that Foden is only coming on now, shows how much attacking depth they have. They are not going to be able to keep all these players happy. Apart from Grealish and McAtee, none of them have even been linked with a move away from the club. Too many players. Bobb surely has to go out on loan after that long injury lay off. Echeverri too you would reckon but even then they have too much depth.
  3. Good move for him. Not the best of leagues but decent enough and another team where he goes as the automatic no.1. After he had that bad injury at Roma, he has been a rotational player at both them and Milan.
  4. Now this made me laugh 😆
  5. Yep, but he has the same intentions as TAA. He would anger Liverpool fans by leaving on a free in any case but to another rival, he will be hated more than TAA. Not a chance he is considering us.
  6. Konate will not join us. Why would he move from Liverpool to us to be perfectly honest apart from being in London? If he does move he will go Real.
  7. He played several games for them as no.10 last season. In fact Whoscored list him as playing in that role the most last season. He played LW occasionally but most times last season he played as the no.10 or upfront as the false no.9. But that being said his game he likes to drift over to the left sometimes also.
  8. What a player. I remember when it was announced we was signing him and I was elated. I just knew he was going to be a star here. It is funny watching this video, he scored a few free kicks. Don't remember him scoring much free kicks for us if at all. He scored one in an FA Cup game against City but not much other than that. So many memories. If I had to pick my favourite Hazard game for us, I probably am going for the 3-0 win against Newcastle where he scored a hattrick. All brilliant goal, including the penalty. The performance at Stadium of Light against Sunderland is a close call too.
  9. That is the thing, I like him. He is a jack of all trades and is very good at linking up with players, but for the money being touted, it baffles me. He does not blow me away. Good player. Top class? No. And we have similar players to him already. He is often good when he is playing of a target man, such as Delap which may be in the thought process too and he has more pace than likes of Nkunku, Felix, Palmer so probably makes us more fluid but think anything above £50m is way too much.
  10. He is much more effective when he plays RW if he has an overlapping player. When we don't use the overlap, then he struggles out wide has he does not have the acceleration and pace to beat his man so sometimes can get lost.
  11. Weird thing is earlier in the season, he stunned everyone when he picked an 18 year old Acheampong in CB against a physical Palace team away from home, which no one expected and he said he was our best player in that game. He was awarded with a start in our next PL game because of that and because he made a little mistake which caused Bournemouth to score, he subbed him off and never started him in a league game again. So he did show he can play youngsters in high pressured environments, however ever since, he just seemed to be very careful with picking players who have had not had much first team experience.
  12. I would be fuming with this. He is an exceptional talent. He has power, pace, good on the ball and mark my words will be a top, top player. We should not be letting Acheampong go for £35m. That will look like peanuts in a few years. He decided to stay here when he could have opted against signing a new contract so start showing some faith. He reminds me of Lewis-Skelly but on the other side. Powerful, both like to make powerful ventures forward and both can easily transition from defence to midfield. Acheampong proved this in our last game. Can't just keep looking at profit all the time ffs.
  13. Commentators getting George and Acheampong confused. They look completely different 🤦‍♂️
  14. Acheampong has been superb. His strength and way he brings ball out is superb. He will be a top player. Delap has been very good. Very robust and similar style to Kane. Great goal.
  15. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2025/lyon-relegated-to-ligue-2-following-dncg-meeting/ I imagine we will try and go in for Fofana fast now.
  16. We shouldn't be selling him at all. If we lose him, that is already 3 wingers lost in Mudryk, Sancho and Madueke, without buying one. We need to add more wingers. Would be stupid to let him go. Who we going to replace him with? I don't buy the rumours anyway.
  17. Yep, as predicted, the plan has worked, surprise, surprise. Now been offered a massive pay rise. Was never going Real but fairplay, secured the bag and had all the bargaining power, considering he is the starting LB right now for both club and country. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6344158/2025/06/18/myles-lewis-skelly-arsenal-contract/
  18. Crazy to think he was at Wolves and it did not work out there. Wolves declined to take up the buy option. Look where he is now... wow.
  19. Very surprised at Kepa. He has had a whole season playing regular football and now he is about to join Arsenal where he will be back up to Raya... yes the typical saying that players will fight for their place, but highly unlikely he replaces Raya unless injured. The odd games in midweek they probably will rotate but still confused on Kepa's side why he wants to go there and not hold out for a team that offers him guaranteed first team action.
  20. Only thing I will say is when Bowen joined WHU, he did not look ready. Think he joined in a January window and struggled then had a full season where he improved but was not great and did not cement a regular spot in the team until latter stages of season, but look how good he is now. I feel Kudus has a possibly higher ceiling than Bowen, but just needs to show it. Whether he does is another question but I feel there is a quality player waiting to be unleashed there.
  21. He defo regressed last season. Was way below par, but he is one of those players who you just know he is waiting to unleash. The quality is there. Just needs to unleash it. But for the reported fee, no way. Especially as he didn't really live up to his standards, we should no way be paying that amount. But yeah, I like him. I am surprised to know about our interest, saying that and still not sure how genuine the interest is but I feel he can explode, especially at a better team.
  22. As poster above said, Quenda is coming next season and we still don't know how much time he will need adjusting. So it is not too much wingers. We don't know what is going on with Mudryk and this season we will be using a lot more first team players as we will be in the UCL so rotation will be key. I think it would be foolish personally to get rid of him, unless we have better replacements lined up and I don't see that so far.
