Wissa has played at least 30 PL games every season since he has joined, so I would not say he is injury prone. He had an injry in November where he was injured for over a month, however returned to sooner than expected. His injury record is actually quite good. I just think him turning 29 in September would put big teams off. It will be interesting to see if Forest go for him again, especially if they reach Europe. Mbuemo is younger and has more hype around him, however Wissa has scored 17 PL goals, no penalties, really good record. Defo goes under radar.

Wissa must be one of the most underrated strikers in PL footy. 17 league goals.
-
Huge exaggeration.
-
He won't join Arsenal, as he isn't getting in ahead of Gabriel and Saliba, who are both young and in their prime.
-
Villa would never have agreed to letting Rogers go. He is a first team player while Kellyman isn't. The deal for Kellyman was to help us with FFP and in turn raise Maatsen's fee. Rogers would arguably of commanded a higher fee than Maatsen.

A game when we are 3-0 up with the second leg at home is a game where you do not start your key players. When I saw Palmer, Cucurella, Jackson in the lineup, could not believe what I was seeing. with Palmer, I think maybe he wanted to us this game to get him back into form maybe, but either way, no need when we have a tough game on Sunday. I don't see us beating Fulham. I think Fulham will do double over us, which I don't think has ever happened. Not while I have been a fan anyway. But not good. Seems he is losing the dressing room and the players are getting fed up with his tactics also which is not a good sign.

Defo sketchy because the article has failed to realise that if United win the Europa League, they will automatically be in the Uefa Champions League and their is no standout team in that competition right now, so United could easily win that. Bilbao are very good but beatable. They still have to get past Rangers. Defo dodgy source.

He will sign a new contract. Prob, just wants more money. He has no reason to leave there.

You always call it Vesper.

I like the look of that Frankfurt keeper, Kaua Santos. Very composed and commanding. Made a terrific save at the end of the game. Only 21 (turns 22 tomorrow). Very impressed.
-
Madueke has made a big difference. Delighted for George aka Saka's twin.

So Maresca rested Palmer against Brentford only to play him 45 mins tonight. I honestly am struggling to understand Maresca's logic. Colwill also was 'rested' against Brentford but does not play tonight... bizarre.
-
We got a decent loan fee for Veiga and tbh he is playing regularly there. Not a bad move when you look into the loan fee received and the fact he is playing regular football and also featured in the UCL for Juve too.
-
At this rate, they probably will overtake us tonight. Leicester are embarrassing.
-
April's fools has passed. This is too late for the jokes Maresca...

Palmer will be a candidate but has dipped second half, however nevertheless he still has been good. Cucurella been good too, however for me Caicedo is our POTS. He was brilliant again tonight. Absolutely phenomenal. What a performance. His tackling is so on point and the way he controls the game in possession also is really impressive. You know he has been very good when no one discusses the price tag anymore. @King Kantemay disagree though.

Yes, I do believe Enzo will go on to become a legend here. He is improving and defo has got more of a physical edge to his game now. Contributing a lot more goals now also. Although I thought Chalobah was excellent, I would give to Caicedo. He was phenomenal also and made crucial tackles but bossed the game all around with the ball too and made it look so easy sometimes. Crucial win. Brentford is a tough one. They are a plucky outfit and we struggle against them but hopefully can put that right on Sunday.
-
Yep. United and Nice also played in same competition this season too after they come to some agreement regarding the shares.
-
I would keep him on the basis that although he has not had much output with G/A in past few months, he shown early season form which was encouraging and a lot of our players in the new year including Palmer have looked below their best. I am not expecting Sancho to score and assist bucket loads but he has shown glimpses of what he can do and with Mudryk situation uncertain and fact that he still has re-sale value, I would say keep him on. In a scenario where he stays and he has not kicked, on we still would be able to get decent money from him.
-
He has a weird agenda against Caicedo. Wrote him off the from the beginning since he has been here and has never really warmed to him.
-
I think you are totally of it. He is consistent virtually every game for us. He makes the odd rash tackle because of the role he plays, however he is consistently good. Albeit against relegation fodder, he was top class yesterday and made very good tackles which he had to be very careful of, knowing a yellow he would miss both Arsenal and Spurs. Yeah, I find this quite odd you said this as in the past 3 months, I would say, he has been more consistent than Palmer. As in for him not having any effect, he is regularly controlling games and even though he makes clumsy challenges which is normal when you are playing a 4-2-3-1 and not next to another DM who pushes forward, he is making very good challenges too. This stat was a month ago, in which since we have had a break and I doubt this has changed significantly since. People actually underrate how good his passing is also. His for Palmer against Villa 3 weeks ago is forgotten about because Palmer missed but remember that chance where Martinez slipped and Palmer failed to capitalise in the game few weeks ago, Caicedo was the one who played him in and that was a top pass, which he has done a few times this season. Palmer had a similar chance against Southampton where he was played in and Ramsdale saved. I am not 100% sure on this one, but that may well have been Caicedo who played him in again. He defo made the pass against Villa though where Palmer somehow missed. Yeah, I feel even when he makes the odd clumsy foul, he is still influential in virtually every game for us and he is crucial. If you are not seeing what everyone else sees, I struggle to see what you are observing then unless you are just looking for faults. Mac Allister has around 9/10 yellow card for Liverpool in all competitions this season and he plays a in a midfield 4-3-3 where is more protected but still makes fouls out of sometimes necessity and being clumsy, but he remains crucial to how Liverpool play. Caicedo has got silly yellows like the one against Villa for dissent and Southampton one was avoidable, but his performances have remained consistent.

Good to see the academy produced boys doing well. Aina could have easily got MOTM too. CHO with another winner against a top team. Scored a banger at Anfield in Liverpool's only loss. Haaland was non-existent. Don't think he got more than 2/3 touches in the game. Murillo bossed it. CHO was given MOTM, but for the whole game would have personally given to Murillo or Aina.

It will most likely be 5 teams in the UCL. City I think will be fine. They have played most of the so called 'big teams' already and have a bloated squad. I think they will be fine. We still have tougher games to go such as going to Emirates, Forest, Newcastle. Liverpool to play at home..
-
Must say, Alvarez has proved me wrong. Didn't think he was that good but wow he has been top class. Will hold my hands up when I am wrong. What a goal 👏

Tbh, although Nkunku has been poor recently, I think this is the game he needs to regain confidence. He got a goal and assist in the reverse fixture and hopefully this game he can put in a good performance and maybe a get a goal or two.
