  1. As poster above said, Quenda is coming next season and we still don't know how much time he will need adjusting. So it is not too much wingers. We don't know what is going on with Mudryk and this season we will be using a lot more first team players as we will be in the UCL so rotation will be key. I think it would be foolish personally to get rid of him, unless we have better replacements lined up and I don't see that so far.
  2. Happy about this. I know a lot of people want him gone but I still feel there is more to come from him and I feel he is a good squad player. Sancho is gone. Uncertainty around Mudryk also. It is not like we have great depth on the wings and I feel whilst he was frustrating last season, he also showed moments of quality. Defo can build on it and is worth keeping around.
  3. He is a RW. Walks into that team and improves them massively. Top player.
  4. I am pretty sure he will sign a new contract. But like Sane, Gnabry and a lot of players do, they us interest from other teams to get offered higher wages from their current club. I would be shocked if he does not extend. Probably wants around £100k+ a week.
  5. Well this season, he has been quite solid with his fitness. Missed a brief spell in November for around 2-3 games, no more. Other than that has been injury free this season.
  6. Impressive. Reminds me of Harry Kane but faster than Kane. But very similar attributes. Both like to drop deep, both like to back in defender and make turns. Both like to shoot from distance and have good striking ability and also looks good at bringing other players into play.
  7. Cunha isn't a CF. Not we need. Good player but feels for me a player who is a 'big fish in a little pond' kind of player.
  8. Yes. I mean I think if Arsenal go for him, he is their man but after we probably will stand best chance if we go for him. I hope Arsenal do go for Sesko because for me Gyokeres will give them a major advantage next season but Havertz will still be a key player for Arsenal next season, hence why Arteta may go for a player like Sesko who won't start every game. But we have CL footy to offer, the London factor and also a young but improving team. The board need to show intent and increase the wages, because we definitely have more of a chance than I thought before. If Liverpool sell Nunez, to Saudis for big money, would not be surprised to see them go for him also, but ultimately think it will come down between Arsenal and us, if the board decide they want to go for him.
  9. Top player. Does not get credit he deserves. Constant menace. Has played every game for Brentford this season. He looks a lot older (prob because he is bald) but he is only 25 so has years ahead still. I have a hunch he will end up at Newcastle. They will spend and as good as Murphy has been this season, Mbuemo takes them to another level. I can't see us being in for him.
  10. I think buying Sesko allows him to rotate more. Havertz, despite his critics is really fancied by Arteta and on huge wages and he will be starting a lot of games next season. But if you get Gyokeres, he will come to start every game, whereas Sesko will accept the rotation role I believe. Gyokeres is better but higher wages and Sesko is younger. Like I say, Arteta wants a striker to compete with Havertz imo, not replace him. Sesko therefore would be easier for Arteta to rotate. Gyokeres is undroppable.
  11. Joao Pedro rumours picking up. Keen to talk to us if fee can be agreed. Brighton said to want fee in region of £50m. Like others have said, he is a good player but one we don't need. Almost like a jack of all trades, however not what we need. He reminds of Felix, as in he can play anywhere across the front line, however his best position is just of the striker. We already have Palmer and Estevao there and Enzo is regularly pushed further up anyway. Don't think he is a player who also takes us to the next level. He would be another good addition for the squad but not necessarily a marquee signing.
  12. I was worried when I saw the United team. They went a lot stronger than I thought, so we did well to get the win, considering We had all our three strikers out injured and also Sancho and Mudryk unavailable and playing a rookie in a unnatural position. I did not see us breaking them down and was worried every time Amad received the ball so when James did that brilliant assist for Cucurella, that was a huge relief, especially knowing Villa had beaten Spurs as expected. I thinnk a lot of people were surprised to see Tosin play instead of Chalobah. I think Maresca did this for extra height, with the likes of Maguire in the United team and tbh he was excellent. Tosin won all his duels and looked really assured. Caicedo, again just top class. Sensational performance once again. That run he did in the first half where he collect the ball deep from inside our half and drove through the midfield and fed Palmer, epitomized his whole game. We defo need to improvise in attack though. We play Forest who have have a really good defence and top keeper. At least can enjoy the rest of the games on the weekend in peace now and hopefully Bourneouth do us a favour on Tuesday.
  13. Eze, I would be really happy with. I think he is a top, top player. Is good on either foot. Excellent strength/balance, good striking ability as seen with some of his goals from long range and also creative too. Also at a good age too and defo would add creativity and hopefully goals. Also think there may be a gentleman's agreement for Palace to let him go if a bigger club comes calling. Similar to what happened with Olise last season, Eze was also linked with moving, however stayed for this season, however would not be surprised if he now gets his move this season as you could say he deserves a bigger move. I have seen City linked with MGW. I am surprised they aren't in for Eze who would suit that no.10 role for them big time. Also think Palace will let him go at a 'reasonable' fee due to his loyalty to Palace over the years. Rogers, I am sure is just rumours. He will be a Villa player next season s he is key for their future and would cost way too much money.
  14. Worry is that we rarely beat any teams away from home, let alone teams in the top 6. United will not be easy too, no matter what people say.
  15. It would make sense for City to target Eze. He is in his prime. Also imo I think he is a better player than MGW. I think Eze is a top player and will be interesting to see how many teams go for him this summer. But if City are looking at MGW, then defo think Eze is a better option. Will likely be cheaper too.
  16. This used to be the case. No longer any more. There will be a mandatory 5 teams in the UCL next season and if Spurs or United win the Europa League, then there will defo be 6 teams in the UCL next season.
  17. Another top performance. Deservedly our POTY. Despite a shake start when he first joined which is understandable, has come on leaps and bounds and has been consistent in every game this season. I am not swapping another CM for him. Immense.
  18. I would be surprised at this. He is a good player but has played in counter attacking teams. He has improved his output this season but generally does not score enough goals and for the fee Forest would want, I would be surprised if City pursued him. Yes for the HG thing would make sense, but everything else you would think they would pursue better players imo.
  19. Yes. Gilmour was excellent that game. Got MOTM IIRC. We need to beat them in the league though. Been far too long. Most annoying thing is most times we play them, we do play well, just can never grab the win in recent games.
  20. 2018 at home, 1-0, Giroud scored a lovely header.
  21. Wissa has played at least 30 PL games every season since he has joined, so I would not say he is injury prone. He had an injry in November where he was injured for over a month, however returned to sooner than expected. His injury record is actually quite good. I just think him turning 29 in September would put big teams off. It will be interesting to see if Forest go for him again, especially if they reach Europe. Mbuemo is younger and has more hype around him, however Wissa has scored 17 PL goals, no penalties, really good record. Defo goes under radar.
  22. Wissa must be one of the most underrated strikers in PL footy. 17 league goals.
  23. He won't join Arsenal, as he isn't getting in ahead of Gabriel and Saliba, who are both young and in their prime.
  24. Villa would never have agreed to letting Rogers go. He is a first team player while Kellyman isn't. The deal for Kellyman was to help us with FFP and in turn raise Maatsen's fee. Rogers would arguably of commanded a higher fee than Maatsen.
