That France U21 team is arguable good enough to put a good shift in the actual mens Euros. Maybe a bit exaggerated but there is so much quality there. The fact that the likes of Camavinga are a sub says a lot. Holland did really well.

Genuinely would take Bissouma. He has everything in his locker. I mean I would like Rice here but it would take around £80m to buy him. Bissouma, Brighton want at least £40m for him and I think whoever he goes to this summer, he will make stronger. He has good technique, good physique, can hold on to the ball well as well as drive through with it. Would give us that extra bit of muscle in midfield while also supporting the possession football Tuchel likes to play. Have not heard any links with us as he has mainly been linked with Liverpool and Arsenal but seen him enough to see he is able to take it up another level.

So proud of this team. Bossed the game. Every player out there put in a shift and we were fully deserving of our win over them. Despite all our spending this season, on average we have also had 2 players from the academy in the starting 11 for like almost every game. To see Mount and James start the game and win the UCL at such a young age is a huge achievement. Christensen played majority of that game and was faultless. Mount provided the match winning assist with a perfect through ball. James was a boss out there and won virtually every duel against Sterling. I love being the underdog in a final tbh. Everyone was putting this on Pep, stating this is the last jigsaw of puzzle he is missing there etc, they were favourites whereas we have won it before, and say for instance we lost it would been very disappointing season, however it feels it would be more of a catastrophe for City to lose than us. Allowed us to perform with freedom. Was very important for me also that we qualified for UCL in the league rather than having to rely on this game or then pressure would have really been on. The 2012 UCL win was great as we were huge underdogs that season and was our first time winning the UCL, however this season, seeing 3 players from the academy in that 11 come the final whistle and playing a top, top team and being deserved of the win makes this special. I think you are actually watching 19/20 season instead of this one. He has gone on another level this season. Most of my friends who were skeptical about him last season and are supporters of rival clubs even acknowledge he is a top player and they were wrong about questioning him. Several pundits have him in their team of the season, LOL. He is a nailed on starter for Lamps, Tuchel, Southgate most likely too. What is that all these pundits and managers are seeing differently eh?

Tbh, Lukaku has got into double figures for assists this season too. Think he is joint top or second in that regards. Lukaku may be older, but he would be a much more safer ber than Vlahovic. I doubt we get him anyway tbh.

I am glad to see James given MOTM, however had Alexander-Arnold had that type of game, the pundits would non stop talking about him having to be in England squad etc. James was a monster today. He scored a goal against Villa and was not that good in actual game and it was all the "how is TAA not in the England squad etc...

I think generally, he has had a very solid season. First few months of season he was arguably our best player, then had a dip in form like many of our other players however when he has played under Tuchel, he has looked ever so solid. One thing though, this was probably his best offensive performance for us for a long while.

This is why I was angry when United and Liverpool was postponed. That timing was suitable for us and they put out their strongest available team. Even if they do the same on Thursday, they will be fatigued.

Exactly. I mean when I hear people make excuses for them saying their squad is not good enough for top 4. Utter nonsense. Saka, Laca, Auba, Tierney, Partey, Odegaard, Gabriel are all players who are top 4 quality. Not just that, they have very good squad players. Martinelli, Pepe has not reached the heights expected but he is a decent squad option. This is one of the best squads they had for years and they flopped big time which is the truth. Our squad last season baring in mind we lost Hazard and had many players coming from loan who previous season were playing in Championship, was weaker than their squad this season yet we got top 4. The excuses people make for them is ridiculous.

Meanwhile, I placed £15 on Arteta to be sacked at 6.00 aka 6/1 odds. Pretty sure price will keep lowering as it was 7.00 not too long ago. The Arsenal board probably will keep him on anyway, but worth a punt.

Not just that. Sending out Saliba on loan while his team mate Fofana who Rodgers plays, looks quality, meanwhile Arteta doesnt trust Saliba who was rated higher than Fofana. His tactical flaws have been evident way throughout. Any other owners would have sacked Arteta by now. Emery proved tonight that he is a good manager. Tactically outsmarted Arteta both games. Pepe got a lot of flack last season tbh, but yh agreed. Partey too has been below par this season. Was absolutely awful tonight. He was hyped up too much tbh. He had a bigger reputation than a lot of managers because he worked with Pep and won FA Cup, but he has been tactically really bad this season. It is crazy that there is more pressure on Ole and Jose losing their jobs than Arteta yet both are better placed in league. Spurs obviously sacked Mourinho now, but Arteta seems to get away with a lot. I genuinely thought Arsenal might win Europa and have won of their seasons where they do shit but have some cup glory and there fans talk like they have had a brilliant season but no, they were dull and had no real ideas tonight.

One person hoping Kroenke stays is Arteta because that is the only way he stays in the job. 9th in the table and blown again another brilliant chance of reaching the UCL.
