Also Marin, we havent seen enough to say he deserves a start just because he is fit. How goof have Hazard, Mata and Oscar been so far. Bertrand has also put in decent performances on the wings and their is also Moses. Tbh out of the three you mentioned I only can see Azpi starting anyway

There is no reason to rest Ashley Cole. If there was another game in the week where we had a game yes but while he is fit and he will have a whole week's rest we don't need to rest him. Been bang on form to, must start IMO. Especially as if we have rarely seen Bertrand at LB this season

I reckon he has a future. He is only 20 and has similar David Luiz traits about him. Don't know how he is playing at Hamburg but he played most of their games last season. With the right development and playing time and maybe a loan to another PL club I reckon he can be a success here. Even if it means being a back up to Luiz/Cahill after Terry hangs up his boots. No one would have guessed when Cahill was at Villa and struggled to get games, that in a few years time he would be on the winning team of the Champions League. Have faith!

Despite the brilliance of Hazard so far this season, Mata has proved that he still is our key player this season. Got his rest and now is playing excellently. Presuming Hazard starts against Norwich because he was a sub tonight, I look forward to seeing Hazard and Mata tearing Norwich to shreds

Anyone who claims Torres had a "great game" must think Okore was shit. And IMO apart from Mata, Okore was the best player on the pitch so someone was watching a different game clearly

Torres worked hard but he was far from great, that is a ludicrous statement IMO. Okore got the better of him IMO, he was unlucky tonight but he was far from great.

Brilliant keeper, proves again why he is one of the best keepers in the word despite people saying how he is not as good as he use to be. Had it not been for him tonight, would have been a totally different game. How he made that save I don't know, one of the best saves in football history IMO

The scoreline is definitely harsh. Doesnt reflect how the game was actually played but who cares, good for our GD and also Juventus drew at home to Shakhtar. Brilliant night for us! That rest Mata got from RDM is definitely paying off now, been absolutely brilliant in our last 3 games

No way can we play that team. This is in what others may see an important game to win, which means we should play our best team or close to best team. This should not be taken lightly, this is the Champions League, not Carling Cup. Ashey Cole has to start, if he rotates him with Bertrand, must be for Norwich game, not this one. Also Mikel should start and Hazard needs to play as well and I am quite sure Ivanovic and Torres will start will start. If we look tired for this game or want to freshen things up that is the time to make changes but you often hear people say don't change from a winning formula and we should not for this, considering we have 2 tough games coming up against Shakhtar

I agree. This is not Football Manager where you play against greyed out players with no skill. This game should not be underestimated, especially as we drew our first home game and Shakhtar only managed a 2-0 win at home against them which is not a battering. They are in the competiton for a reason. Best team has to play IMO, no time to rest players.
