  1. Bring Jackson on for JP now. Wrap Pedro up in cotton wool after that challenge.
  2. I think he will be a monster there. They have too much creativity for him not score. Odegaard, Eze and Saka have too much ability to create loads of chances. He will score for fun I reckon.
  3. Looks ominous indeed. I would not be surprised to see them get Rodrygo too. Especially if Martinelli leaves.
  4. He plays predominantly on the RW, but can play the AM role too. But because of his good dribbling and crossing , Arteta likes him on the right. Long term wise, if he stays, you would imagine he will take the AM role as Saka's spot is not being shifted. I am not sure what position Nwaneri prefers though and this may be a big part of his decision to sign a contract or not. Similarly to Lewis-Skelly, I can't help but think Nwaneri's agent is trying to muster the best possible deal by dragging other clubs into it, to get a better deal, even though I think it is more likely that Nwaneri would consider leaving than MLS. However, Nwaneri swapping Arsenal to Chelsea would make no sense. He has been part of Arsenal's squad when he was 17 and started a number of games when Saka was out and was very impressive. Since Saka returned his minutes has been reduced, which has annoyed Arsenal fans, but again he was just 17 at the time, so Arteta probably was biding his time with him. Either way, if Nwaneri joins us, he will not be joining to be loaned out. If he moves from Arsenal, he will be moving to play, not be loaned out. If he wanted the best opportunity, he is best of moving abroad. But I think he will stay once he is given assurances. Hutchinson was not part of Arsenal's first team squad. Nwaneri was and has played several times for them this season. Reminds me of Foden, when he was coming up at City and was slightly older than Nwaneri is now and people were bemused that Pep never gave him chances, then when David Silva left, he got his chance and he kicked on. But he had to wait patiently for his chance. I would take him here of course because I think Nwaneri is a top talent, but being honest, him moving here would make no sense to me and I don't buy it at all.
  5. Arsenal's end I get it. They want more wingers. Sterling was a failed loan and is back at us. Trossard's future is uncertain and is in his 30s. Madueke is young and suits the direct wingers, Arteta likes to have. So they need back ups. Saka was out for a while last season and while they have Nwaneri, he also has not signed new contract yet and Arteta may see him as a no.10. But for Madueke's sense, does not make much sense as he is going to one club being a rotational player to another one where he is rotational/back-up.
  6. That is 2 of our brighter prospects who have had to retire due to injuries. Him and Izzy Brown who were both part of that youth team who said records. So sad. He had so much bad luck with injuries at us and even even after he left. Was always going to be difficult for him. Must be a huge mental challenge for him to kick on, especially when he loves football and I remember his celebration when he scored his first ever goal for us, how much that meant to him. Not surprised by his decision though. He was super talented and you wonder where he would be if not for his injuries.
  7. No brainer for me. I get that people have reservations but for me, he is a striker worth the risk for Arsenal. I think he will score for fun there. Surprised at this. He must have been offered huge wage increase and I imagine a release clause, will be inevitable announced.
  8. Fact that Foden is only coming on now, shows how much attacking depth they have. They are not going to be able to keep all these players happy. Apart from Grealish and McAtee, none of them have even been linked with a move away from the club. Too many players. Bobb surely has to go out on loan after that long injury lay off. Echeverri too you would reckon but even then they have too much depth.
  9. Good move for him. Not the best of leagues but decent enough and another team where he goes as the automatic no.1. After he had that bad injury at Roma, he has been a rotational player at both them and Milan.
  10. Now this made me laugh 😆
  11. Yep, but he has the same intentions as TAA. He would anger Liverpool fans by leaving on a free in any case but to another rival, he will be hated more than TAA. Not a chance he is considering us.
  12. Konate will not join us. Why would he move from Liverpool to us to be perfectly honest apart from being in London? If he does move he will go Real.
  13. He played several games for them as no.10 last season. In fact Whoscored list him as playing in that role the most last season. He played LW occasionally but most times last season he played as the no.10 or upfront as the false no.9. But that being said his game he likes to drift over to the left sometimes also.
  14. What a player. I remember when it was announced we was signing him and I was elated. I just knew he was going to be a star here. It is funny watching this video, he scored a few free kicks. Don't remember him scoring much free kicks for us if at all. He scored one in an FA Cup game against City but not much other than that. So many memories. If I had to pick my favourite Hazard game for us, I probably am going for the 3-0 win against Newcastle where he scored a hattrick. All brilliant goal, including the penalty. The performance at Stadium of Light against Sunderland is a close call too.
  15. That is the thing, I like him. He is a jack of all trades and is very good at linking up with players, but for the money being touted, it baffles me. He does not blow me away. Good player. Top class? No. And we have similar players to him already. He is often good when he is playing of a target man, such as Delap which may be in the thought process too and he has more pace than likes of Nkunku, Felix, Palmer so probably makes us more fluid but think anything above £50m is way too much.
  16. He is much more effective when he plays RW if he has an overlapping player. When we don't use the overlap, then he struggles out wide has he does not have the acceleration and pace to beat his man so sometimes can get lost.
  17. Weird thing is earlier in the season, he stunned everyone when he picked an 18 year old Acheampong in CB against a physical Palace team away from home, which no one expected and he said he was our best player in that game. He was awarded with a start in our next PL game because of that and because he made a little mistake which caused Bournemouth to score, he subbed him off and never started him in a league game again. So he did show he can play youngsters in high pressured environments, however ever since, he just seemed to be very careful with picking players who have had not had much first team experience.
  18. I would be fuming with this. He is an exceptional talent. He has power, pace, good on the ball and mark my words will be a top, top player. We should not be letting Acheampong go for £35m. That will look like peanuts in a few years. He decided to stay here when he could have opted against signing a new contract so start showing some faith. He reminds me of Lewis-Skelly but on the other side. Powerful, both like to make powerful ventures forward and both can easily transition from defence to midfield. Acheampong proved this in our last game. Can't just keep looking at profit all the time ffs.
  19. Commentators getting George and Acheampong confused. They look completely different 🤦‍♂️
  20. Acheampong has been superb. His strength and way he brings ball out is superb. He will be a top player. Delap has been very good. Very robust and similar style to Kane. Great goal.
  21. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2025/lyon-relegated-to-ligue-2-following-dncg-meeting/ I imagine we will try and go in for Fofana fast now.
  22. We shouldn't be selling him at all. If we lose him, that is already 3 wingers lost in Mudryk, Sancho and Madueke, without buying one. We need to add more wingers. Would be stupid to let him go. Who we going to replace him with? I don't buy the rumours anyway.
  23. Yep, as predicted, the plan has worked, surprise, surprise. Now been offered a massive pay rise. Was never going Real but fairplay, secured the bag and had all the bargaining power, considering he is the starting LB right now for both club and country. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6344158/2025/06/18/myles-lewis-skelly-arsenal-contract/
