I think you are underestimating how key Kompany has been this season. He has been immense in every league game. LOL, Otamendi looked like a £30m plus CB yesterday. didn't he? Don't make me laugh? IMO, he will make a lot of mistakes like Mangala did in his first season too. Otamendi and Demi especially were afwul yesterday. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12090/10007086/charlie-nicholas-rates-manchester-city-captain-vincent-kompany-as-the-premier-leagues-mvp Look at the stats. You always use it for KDB so....

And the 2 games they lost, Kompany was not playing. The defensive errors were more glaring than their attacking problems. Kompany is a huge miss.

I never said he played well against Juve but he only came on in 20 minutes. Costa has been awful in most of our games this season and he constantly defends him. That is double standards. KDB has just joined and has done well, not brilliant but his stats show that he is capable of producing something out of nothing. That West Ham goal was direct proof. Well the Palace game is conflicting stories. Most people I have heard from said he changed the game. Yeah, they were going for the game but KDB still created the best chance of the game. He was not poor. WHU too, I watched the whole game, he was their best player by far. City had so many chances and actually got it into Aguero but Reid got to him first every time. City should have scored around 5 second half. If Costa has a awful game but scores you would hear him using stats that he scored a goal but with KDB he will not. Even Silva was not effective against Juventus. Pacquiao when comparing Costa with Lewa used his past season stats to defend his form this season but for some reason does not do the same with KDB, even though he is actually contributing. Even before KDB came Aguero has not looked sharp. Chelsea game was the only one where he actually looked quality.

He never got enough chances. When he did step in he done well. And with more game time he would have developed. I remember Bellerin got subbed off for Arsenal at H/T last season when they were 3-0 down to Stoke and it must of been a big confidence knock for him. Did Arsenal just leave him out to dry and send him out on countless loans? No, they realised he was a work in progress and kept faith in him. Look now. We should really try doing the same with ours. Especially when we have top English talents like that, we just get rid. Confuses the shit out of me. Bertrand would get much more praise if he was playing regularly at us instead of Southampton.

Zouma playing LB will not solve anything. I think it will show how much of a joke side we have become. Resorting to Zouma at LB when we could of had Bertrand and Luis playing there.... just don't please.

21 next month but yeah still very young.

LOL. he came on with 20 mins to go against Juventus. Let's expect him to put in a 10/10 performance. Don't be ridiculous. He did not make an impace but he was only on for god damn 20 minutes. And no, like I said bar Spurs which he scored he has been good in their PL games. He changed the game against Palace and was their only good player against WHU. How many times? If your lovegod Oscar done what he done, I know for a fact you would be drooling over his stats saying he done this and that. Can't stand the double standards and how biased our fans are. Costa has been awful mose of the season for us yet you defend him 24/7 and use his Atletico stats and last season stats to back him up which is fair enough. But do me a favour, if you are going to do that at least do the same with KDB.

Excellent prospect but how many times has his positioning let him down? If it is not going over his head, he is totally out of position. His pace helps him recover for instance against Walcott last week and Sterling last season but really as a CB he is going to need to sort out these errors in his game. What he done yesterday was suicidal. Had a good game against Arsenal but sometimes our fans are way too quick to react. Claiming he is an automatic first team starter now. Disagree. I still think as the season goes on and with Mourinho entering crisis mode he will go back to his more trusted CB due of Cahill and Terry.
-
Like I said earlier in the week, he will not even make the squad today and that has proven to be true. Wickham is still injured as well. There should just be a mutual agreement to cancel this loan Can't believe some people think this loan still has a chance of working out. Chamakh is still return as well ffs!

Stop being such a hater. You clearly are yet you are someone who supposedly rate(d) him, LOL. Palace he changed the game. He created the best chance of the game so I don't know what you are talking about. West Ham he was far their best player by far. Not his fault the team were not on par with him. Funny how when he put a MOTM performance in against Sunderland you were no where to be seen but he puts in a below-par performance, albeit he scored you are the first to come here and slate him. You know for a fact when he plays well you will go hiding again. Funny how you make all these excuses for Costa but not KDB who has done well.
-
Costa has been poor himself though. So has Hazard too. KDB has done quite well.Poor second half yes but he still has 3 goals and an assist to his name. Like our players, KDB will imprve with time. I still forget that he is younger than Hazard.

Oscar will do one slide tackle and you get pages of people saying he had an excellent game... Vice-versa, Oscar does what Willian done today, he suddenly has a great game.

I know we all want to see Baba play more but tbh I blame Mourinho for letting Bertrand leave firstly then letting Luis go. A major club competing for all honours should not be playing a CB at RB and a RB at LB long term. Like I have said before that should have been a short term solution, not a long term one. How many top teams in the world have two players constantly playing in an unnatural position? Teams will work us out as they know Azpi will struggle to get forward and Ivanovic will get caught out defensively when he attacks because he is not the fastest. Some people here will say Bertrand wanted to go or he was not good enough. First response to that is he would not have wanted to go if he was promised first team football which he should have been. He was arguably the best LB last season and when he stepped in for Cole he performed very well and considering he is HG and developed through our academy I would have liked to see him at LB. Look at Bellerin at Arsenal. They gave him a chance and now has turned out to be one of the best RB in the league at the age of 20. We turned down the chance to sign Shaw when he could have solved our LB problems for years to come. But Bertrand is the one that annoys me. One of the best attacking and defensive LB around but we let him go, God knows why. Then Luis, one of the best LB in Europe when we bought him came here and rarely started. Like why buy a player to rarely play him then sell him? Makes no sense. We need natural width and the lack of it is costing us and Mourinho is to blame. We let the best LB available go and now we basically are doing the same we did with Luis to Baba. Luis was proven and should of had that LB spot guaranteed tbh but look. Mourinho and his choices of players who he keeps and let's go is extremely baffling.

Leicester away and Swansea at home also.
-
That is the reason Everton beat us so easily but lost to City. City can easily compete with them physically which is what they did and thus won the game.
-
The same can be said about Newcastle. They went with a 4-4-2. That says a lot about how bad our defence is and they realised and exploited it.
-
This is how it feels to be a United fan under Moyes. Similar pattern results, both beat Arsenal and have optimism that we are going to kickstart our season then it is back to square one.
-
It is against City away so I will let them off with that if they put in a bad performance. If Silva and Kompany are back only one way I see the result going.

My biggest concern is it is always the same thing with Mourinho. I know his subs got us the point today but if we are struggling to score or are behind, the route is bring on Falcao and put him up front with another striker. Sometimes we go with crazy formations such a 3-5-2. Is he actually doing this in hope of luck or is it worked out tactically because when we brings on an additional striker, they do not actually change the game. The two strikers never work in tandem with each other and it seems just hopeless luck. With Arsenal for instance if they go down, they can shift Walcott off to the RW or in tandem with Giroud. One is fast, the other is tall and you can see the tactical sense there. But everytime we have brought on Falcao with another striker, it has not worked at all. He scored against Palace but we still were exposed on the defence. That is poor management tbh. Going gung-ho without actually having a strategy at the back. It has actually got to a point where every game we play away from home and even to a lesser extent at home, I am expecting us to be overrun in midfield and expect to concede. Results have been shocking and the worse thing is we have dropped points in games we should be winning. Makes me worried tbh.

One thing I give to Hazard despite our poor he has been is that he still comes up with that little bit of magic. Done excellently for Ramires goal and you just need him on the pitch tbh. But I don't think he has been as awful as people make. Just not been at the same standards as last season. Swansea poor first half. Second half he was a one man show and was very good imo. WBA, when we went down to 10, he was actually one of the key reasons we won. Constantly drawing fouls and using his excellent balance to keep hold off the ball. City poor but could not really do anything when our CM were dominated. Palace did not standout. Arsenal was very good, so mixed and match. I desperately want him to score. Arsenal fans are obviously going to have a wankfest over Sanchez scoring his hattrick now.

Chadli is a makeshift CF, that is the problem. Son can play there but that is not his nautral position but yeah I think there was a reason they put in 3 bids for Berahino. They need another natural CF.
-
I know but he adds a different dimension. When Hazard is in one of his passive moods he is often a player who takes responsibility for the team which I appreciate. Also those goals, while they have been lucky, it is also a skill tbh to whip it in like that which means even if a palyer does not get their head on it, the delivery can actually cause a problem for the keeper.
-
Who do they play instead of him? They would do it in easy games in the EL like when they played Qarabag the other day but they don't have a natural CF as an alternative to do in bigger games.
-
He adds balance but the likes of Fabregas and Hazard performing is not down to Oscar. It is down to us not having control in the game. My point is when we are losing in situations like this and Hazard is not playing well Oscar will not step up in the same way others would and that is my biggest concern and why I prefer seeing Willian in the team. It does not help that he was not impressive. I have said and others for a long while that we probably are better of in a 4-3-3. Like I said he improved second half, in dictating play, linking play and spraying passes but when we needed a goal and others were not up to their usual standards, I don't think he steps up and that is why he came off imo. Willian is much more direct.
