  1. Hazard would start at Bayern and Real imo. Are you basing it on his form now because trust me he will rediscover his form. If you said this before the start of the season everyone would say he would walk into most teams in the world bar Barca.
  2. He actually said Juventus? Well that is confusing as fuck. Also Hazard is a world class player who has started the season well. Schoels seems to be taking this season into account and if he is indeed doing that, then he should not have Aguero there and not have Hazard. Had this been last season, Hazard would have definitely been there. Aguero has been below-par himself this season.
  3. Of course he will. No doubts about it. Has spent all his youth team games with England and was born in England as well.
  4. Luis never had the position in the first place. He rarely got chances. Not sure what games you think he had enough. He rarely came in for rotation and only played more than one successive game it seems when Azpi got sent off against Palace. Other than that he was not given a chance to prove himself. Just seemed a pointless buy as we did not utilize him much and he is a very good LB.
  5. That is all good but I would much prefer it if he was controlling play instead of chasing play.
  6. Now, he has played more but it comes at a time when Costa is suspended and Falcao had an injury. Both then started against Walsall but because Falcao did not do much up front and Remy scored a fantastic goal and generally was fantastic, he earned a start aginst Newcastle but majority of times this season, Falcao has unfairly been picked over him to be the impact sub constantly despite being shit for United. Remy should have earned these minutes and the fact that wahsed up players like Falcao were always coming on while Remy was left to rot on the bench is what pissed me off. There was no merit towards it. Also, I would say Remy is a lot better than Hernandez. Given a proper run in the team, he will score bagful of goals but he will not get that opportunity here.
  7. Well I have never said Lukaku's all round game was better. I know which members have but Costa's all round game 2 nights ago was no different to Lukaku's all round game against Southampton and WBA. The difference is Lukaku scored 4 goals in those 2 games. But, yeah Costa was very good last night and if he continues to play like that the goals will come with ease. Aguero bar the glaring missed chances he had was also very good up front. Caused tons of problems and was a meance all night. But, yeah I do agree that once he scores more people will start to appreciate him much more again.
  8. He did deserve to start. Torres was awful and Ba was nothing special. Lukaku went out on loan, got into 20 league goals which was probably more than Ba and Torres combined from the season Lukaku was at WBA. On top of that Lukaku was our top scorer in the pre-season. He deserved a start at least in one of our first 4 games and he never got that. Obviously we have different targets but Lukaku has not developed into a worse striker playing for Everton. He would have staleld staying here like a lot of other players have. So let me ask you something. KDB left and did not want to fight for his place yet he earned a move to Wolfsburg. A good but inferior team. Look what he produced when he had the opportunity to show what he can do when faith is placed in him. He is now playing for City. Lukaku could easily do the same, can't he? Everton are a good team. Just not on the same level as us. Well, that is your opinion if you think Lukaku is not cut out to be at a top club. I am sure by the age of 25 or so he will be at a bigger club, leading the line. And like I have said before, yeah Lukaku might have done the easy thing and asked to leave but if Mourinho really wanted him as a major part of his plans there is no way he would have let him go. No matter how big his ego is, he obviously could not guarantee Lukaku a major role in the team and thus he left. Let's not forget that when Lukaku was at Everton on loan, they nearly got top 4 and were playing great football. He is 22. One of the best strikers of his generation and will have a successful career. Regardless of who he is at, he will score goals in the end of the day. It is funny because you think he is not developing playing for Everton. I think the fact that he left has helped him as if he was here I do not think he would be given a fair opportunity, no. I am happy with Costa and think the deal with Lukaku worked for both parties however after 2 seasons of scoring goals, we went out and bought Costa. That was a clear kick in the face to Lukaku and obviously showed Mourinho never had real faith of him leading the line. And no the idea of him fighting for his place is rubbish. Look at Remy. And I do genuinelly believe had Mourinho not made the Eto'o signing he would have stayed. But I think he look at the only way to show Mourinho what he can do is when he starts regularly at a team and thus he went out on loan to Everton and scored goals. H He will get his move to a big club and score goals in the future. He is still a kid nd will prove you wrong. No doubts about it.
  9. NO. We bought Lukaku and he spent a year playing in our reserves. So is him playing at WBA his fault or ours? We sent him there on loan so you are effectively blaming us for not developing him in to a top striker? Because we sent him out on loan and the following season despite being our top scorer in pre-season and being better than all of our strikers he did not gain a start in any of our first 4 games IIRC? This was with Ba and Torres there. Eto'o then arrives and from then he obviously thought "Fuck this". Lukaku had every right to feel pissed off. He deserved a start from the off but never got that. He proved himself out on loan once again but as showed with the signing of Costa, we were never going to have faith with him as a no.1. Comparing Ronaldo leaving Sporting to Lukaku staying at Everton is uncomparable. One is a average league, the other is a top league in the world. Lukaku is not playing for a top team but he is playing for a good team in arguably the best league in the world. Is Lacazzette unambitious for staying at Lyon even though next season he may get a big move and has years ahead of him? Stop talking nonsense. I could understand you saying this if Lukaku was late 20s but he is bloody 22. At the end of his football career we could easily and probably will be talking about his major accomplishments and the biggest clubs in the world he has played for. He will not be at Everton for years to come and will no doubt be at a major club. Will that stop your talk about him never being a top striker? He is a top striker and will continue to score goals to silence people like you. The kid is 22 and has 5/6 goals to his name this season? When you are 22 and playing in the EPL for a team like Everton that does not hinder your development. Bigger clubs will soon take a punt on him and take him. Yeah, I am deluded for thinking Lukaku would be a bench warmer here? When Torres and Ba came, he did not start a game. Eto'o came when he still had a lot of quality and started as soon as he joined where Lukaku never got that chance. I think I know who the deluded one if you think Lukaku was going to be given a fair shot. Was not going to happen.
  10. Did you see the trash who Mata was playing with? You put him in a team with Costa then.... no words need to be said.
  11. Do you not understand? He is only 22 years old. Who gives a fuck if he is not at a big club now? Many top stars have been at much more average clubs at a similar age? There are many. He has another decade to be playing at the top level. His big move will come. He done the right thing in moving rather than warming the bench. Lukaku is ambitious and when the time is right will get his move and be a star imo. Hope you are still on the forum by then.
  12. No one has mentioned it but what a great experience for him playing in the UCL at the age of 19 up against Aguero. Massive test for him. The experience will be great for him. Just came to my mind. Him and Stones are the exact carbon copy of each other. Same size and weight rougly, same height roughly and playing characteristics are very similar to one another.
  13. I think it is crucial we start backing the English teams in Europe. It would be quite a disaster to lose that 4th spot back to Italy. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10005194/premier-leagues-fourth-champions-league-spot-under-threat-from-serie-a To be fair, Hazard was always going to come on regardless of the score. Matic possibly too.
  14. He has started off slow but even under Mourinho, I still think come the end of the season he will be our star player and probably a leading candidate for POTY. There are too many games to be played to think he will not recover his best form.
  15. He definitely should have played tonight. Him playing would have meant we would not have lost. When Oscar plays, Chelsea don't lose. Would have brought great balance tonight and ensured we would not have lost the game. Oscar plays against Southampton we win. He does not play, we draw or lose. That simple.
  16. Jesus. It was just a joke. Come on! But saying that, apart from his goals, he is one player that can come out with credit recently.
  17. We are becoming too much like Arsenal. Too many lightweight players. We got overpowered by teams so easily. Imbula powered through our team with ease. That is why we struggle to dominate matches. We are even becoming more like Arsenal in that we keep conceding from set peices. What is going on?
  18. Hazard should have gone down there! Despite the scoreline so far, Costa has lead the line really well. Love to see when is like this.
  19. To all the people saying he can't finish for shit or is only good for running up and down, he is our top scorer so far
  20. His link up/hold up play play has improved so much. Goal and a great assist tonight. Might have been offside by a margin, not too sure. Either way, great hold up play and awareness. Wow, how many ex-Chelsea players scored this weekend. Sturridge, Mata, Drogba, Lampard, KDB...not to mention the players out on loan too such as Salah and Piazon.
  21. You think so? I am not too sure. I think they have a good team but they lost 3 world class players and did not actually replace them with world class replacements.
  22. They lost key players. Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal. Marchisio has been injured for majority of the season. Yeah they should be doing better but I can understand the transition with them. Us on the other hand have not lost any key players. We still have the same team that won us the title last season. But there are so many issues wrong with us atm. Jose is not the sole problem but he is responsible for a lot of the problems.
  23. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10001169/eden-hazard-says-arsenal-goal-will-lift-his-confidence Funny, funny.
  24. Kompany has been immense for City this season though. No disputing that. Them not conceding a goal in any of their league games when he played is not just a random coincidence. Koompany for them this season is what Terry was for us last season. If he remains consistent throughout the season is another question. He has been faultless this season. His extra work in the gym pre-season has paid off. Looks a total beast and seems to have recovered the pace. Silva has been a loss but as I was saying they have been fine in attack. WHU they were unlucky. Defence let them down and Spurs, first half they were very good and had several opportunities. Kompany not in the team, they look suddenly leaky.
  25. Are you serious? Have you actually watched any City games in the league this season? I have. WBA, was immense. When we played them, Costa could not get a sniff once again against him. Everton he had a good battle with Lukaku and bar one run he was excellent. Watford was not tested really and Palace not sure, did not see but skysports gave him 7 rating which is quite good. Kompany is quite a proactive CB as well tbh. Not as much as Luiz but no different to Otamendi. Otamendi was not good at all imo. Was not as bad as Demi but none of them gave the physical prescence Kompany gives them.
